    *ALEXANDER COMMENTS ON PEARCE'S ENTRY*

Here is a copy of APW President Roland Alexander's post on the message
board of www.allprowrestling.com, commenting on Adam Pearce's entry into
    this Fall's tournament...

"Congratulations to Adam Pearce on his selection to the KING OF INDIES
2001...This now gives us a field of 3 consisting of the KING OF INDIES
2000 Champion, Christopher Daniels and semifinalist from last year, Scoot
    Andrews.

We have already given out 19 invitations and it is tough making these
decisions on who gets the nod and who doesn't. Despite WWF raiding most
of the good young indy talent a couple of years ago and WCW taking some
others, there is no doubt in my mind that there are still some very
talented indy wrestlers in the world. We could easily select 24 for this
tournament and maybe next year we will.

We have already decided on 14 of the 16 wrestlers in the tournament and as
the weeks go by, we'll be releasing those names with press releases from
the voice of APW and an assistant in our public relations department,
    Joseph Lee.

We also hope to debut the official website of KING OF INDIES at
www.kingofindies.com in the next couple of weeks. There will be bios, a
list of those accepted, ticket price information and ticket ordering
information and we might even have some videos of some of the competitors.
We will also have some sound bites of some of the guys talking about what
King of Indies means to them.

I talked to Cauliflower Alley President, Red Bastien on the phone last
week and sometime near the middle of July, we should start to releasing
some of the Big Name Legends that will be appearing as well...

Every day, I take a calm down pill as I am already fired up, and it is
only June, for this exciting week in Indy wrestling. It will be a time for
the top future legends to showcase their talents, legends from the past to
be honored. I know I speak on behalf of Cauliflower Alley and everyone
associated with All Pro Wrestling when I say it will be a week to
    remember."

    -------------------------------------------

    *APW ON EVENING MAGAZINE*

Evening Magazine will be airing a segment on All Pro Wrestling as the lead
story on an upcoming telecast, to be shown Thursday June 28th at 7:00pm.
Snott Club Fan Club President and Manager, Betty Beefcake will be on the
show, as she will be taking on "EM" host Malou Nubla in a match at the APW
Garage! This is great publicity, and APW is very proud to be featured on
a highly prestigious show such as Evening Magazine. Don't miss it!

    Results from LWF: Defiance
The show began with the Kingpin coming out in Ringmaster regalia and forced
the audience to endure his kidnapping of the Ringmaster. CM Venom was able to
chase him back to the locker room.

After Billy Whack made his entrance, Machine came ringside an paid his 10
American's in order to have a front row seat.

    Synn vs. Airborne
The first bout of LWF: Defiance was Synn versus Airborne. Synn had a power
advantage, while Airborne had speed, quickness, and experience. Synn's power
had Airborne on the run in the beginning. However, Airborne was able to hit
the crash landing in another impressive LWF performance.

Kingpin appeared AGAIN, and threatened to play the Ringmaster trapped in
Vegas video. Suddenly Freak appeared with a giant box. Kingpin approached the
box and was shocked by Meatball and attacked from behind by a returning
    Ringmaster.

This lead to Bil Patrick vs. Grin for the Intercontinental Title
Bil Patrick debuted his new bodyguard. This may have thrown Grin off his
game. The long absent Ringmaster was off his game as he distracted the
referee long enough for Bil Patrick to get a roll of quarters from his
bodyguard. Grin applied the "Chicken Plucker" choke hold. Before he could get
a submission out of Patrick, Bil hit Grin in the head with a roll of coins to
    become the NEW Intercontinental champion.

Stryc-9 entered the ring with a special announcement. He was going to allow a
"lucky young lady" to oil him down. He chose Jessica, the world's most
dangerous ring girl. Stryc-9 poured the lotion in Jessica's hand, he pushed
it into her face smearing the lotion all over her face, totally embarrassing
her. This brought out Maverick. This was a battle of two of the strongest in
the LWF. Maverick was able to use his trademark brawling skills to keep
Stryc-9 off balance. As Maverick went for the pedigree, Stryc-9 scooped his
legs and pinned Maverick with his feet on the ropes.

Ice Bew came out to announce that he has won the lottery. He told Billy Whack
that maybe he might be worthy of better treatment in the LWF. This seems to
    be developing...

Redpac and Pledge Jones took on the Pimp Jones accompanied by Eryn, who had
pinned Redpac last week. With the tag team championship on the line, the
Jones' were able to retain the title with the help of Eryn. She climbed to
the top rope and nailed Redpac with another top rope bodyblock for the
    pinfall.

Broox came out to tell the audience that he would soon be replacing Grudge as
the number one man in the LWF. He bragged about his new suit. Grudge, who had
been pacing the locker room all night charged the ring and destroyed Broox
and destroyed his new suit. Broox was seen flopping around in his underwear
showing his "short comings" for all the world to see. Grudge shredded Mike
Broox's suit, and bravado, into a million pieces.

In a match of contrasting styles, the monstrous Ryan Boz took on the quick
and agile Tyler Cross. Tyler Cross was able to use his quickness to keep Ryan
Boz off his game. Every time Cross would get the upper hand, Boz would use
his power advantage to shut Tyler Cross down. For every move that Cross could
create, Boz would have a counter that used his power and size to his
advantage. Later in the match, Cross hit the Fast Plant but was unable to
score a victory due to a lifeless referee. Mimic then interfered and
prevented the "Cross Over" moonsault with a cane shot that allowed Ryan Boz
to stick the piledriver for the pinfall.

Mimic and Acid came to the ring first. Acid went on a rant that included
pearls of wisdom about him making the LWF, all of its stars, and the move
sets of all the superstars. Havok entered the ringside area without a
partner. His partner was Magnificent Mike. Magnificent Mike set the record
straight that it was all the wrestlers and the fans that made the LWF what it
is today. Mimic and Acid were able to isolate Magnificent Mike during the
course of the match. The rule breakers operated as a more cohesive unit. The
Double M crashed through a table placed ringside by Stryc-9. Stryc-9 was able
to distract the Double M long enough for Mimic and Acid to score the victory
    over Havok.
Machine and Magnificent Mike got into a brawl after the match that saw Double
M extract revenge by beating Machine with a chair all the way to the back of
    the arena.

The main event was upon us. Grudge had been tormented by Broox through his
entire reign. Broox feels that he could easily become world champion. He
tried to out smart and psyche out the LWF Champion. Grudge had been pushed to
his breaking point. He requested this match with Broox. In this match, the
top turnbuckles were wrapped in over 50 feet of steel chain. Grudge was able
to harness all of his frustration and rage with a crushing defeat of Mike
Broox. Grudge did this by tossing Broox from one end of the Frontier Field
House to the other. Broox had his head bounced of the steel chains, bounced
of the walls of the Field House, and even off of Melissa's head. Broox
attempted to counter all of this punishment by taking out Grudge's left knee.
Broox used one of the chains from the buckles and ringside chairs to try and
put Grudge permanently on the shelf. Grudge was able to hit the Fallout and
drop Broox head first on the steel chains busting the fans wide open. As
blood poured out of Broox's head he made one more desperate move. He tried to
choke the life out of Grudge with 15 feet of chain. Grudge was able to
overpower Broox, hoist him onto his shoulder and drop him in the move that
has won him many matches in the past, the AFTERMATH. Grudge has proven to be
a man to be feared and respected in the LWF. He really has proven that when
he hits the AFTERMATH, it guarantees a successful title defense.

The LWF's next big event is this saturday at the Midlothian Recration Center.

    THE SUICIDE KID -

    The Story of Mikey Henderson

A feature length documentary film on the life and career of 20 year old indy
wrestler Mikey Henderson has it’s world premiere on July 16, 2001 at Beverly
Hills venue of the New York International Independent FIlm and Video
Festival. In September, it will have it’s New York premiere at the same
    festival.

The movie is a co-production between Roosevelt Building Productions and
Westwater/Weiss Films, and is produced by Brady Westwater and Steve Weiss. It
was directed, photographed and edited by G. O. Parsons. It is the 18 year
old Parsons’ first feature length film.

Three weeks ago, a very rough edit of the film was sent to 20 film festivals
-- all of whose submission deadlines had long past -- to get a preliminary
response to the project. Within two weeks, 12 of the festivals had looked at
the film-- even though it was submitted up to three months past their
deadlines -- and all 12 of them immediately accepted the film for their
    festivals.

Appearing in the film with Henderson are wrestlers Mike Modest, Rob Van Dam,
Brian Owens, the Hardkore Kidd, Los Cubanitos, Samoa Joe, Frankie Kazarian,
Krazy K. C. and many others. Also featured are promoters Jesse Hernandez who
initially trained Henderson at the Empire Wrestling Federation, Rick Bassman
of the UPW and the APW’s Roland Alexander, of BEYOND THE MAT fame.

    BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF FILM --

'THE SUICIDE KID - The Story of Mikey Henderson' is about a 20 year old
professional wrestler who is also pursuing a career as an actor.

But the real story is the forensic autopsy of Mikey's childhood, his being
raised by a single father after his mother left when he was eight years old.
He first had sex with a woman at the age of eight, had his first, serious
long term relationship at twelve and had his first son at fifteen. He first
worked out with professional wrestlers at the age of eleven and won his first
professional title at the age of fifteen.

He was also near his full height of five eight by the age of twelve and then
stopped growing (though he now weighs 215 pounds of solid muscle); but
despite this lack of height, he is on the verge of a major wrestling career
(due to his wrestling skills, superb mike skills and Tom Cruise looks) and
starring in a two major feature films.

Henderson is also available for bookings around the country and the world in
conjunction with his promoting the film.

'The Suicide Kid - The Story of Mikey Henderson' premiere will be on Monday,
    July 16th, 2001 from 6 - 8 PM at:

The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival
    The Clarity Theatre
    100 N. Crescent Drive
    Beverly Hills
