Spike Dudley and Molly Holly come to the ring. Spike says never in his wildest dream did he think he would be in this ring facing the WWF champion for a title shot. Last week I did just that. Even though I didn't win that match, I really liked it. Austin, that wasn't good enough for you. You had to come back after the match and try to hit Molly with the chair. You are about to make me do something I never thought I would do. I am calling you out. I want a piece of your ass.

Austin comes to the ring. Wo the hell do you think you are?

My name is Spike Dudley.

For the record my name is Steve Austin. I'm not about to let some 2 dollar punk with a 5 cent haircut challenge me to a title defense.

If you want to see Spike Dudley take on Austin for the title just give me a hell yeah.

You aren't getting no title match you little punk. You don't deserve a title match and you don't deserve to be in the same ring with Steve Austin. But I will say this for you, I'll gve it to ya kid, right down the middle. You got guts. Nobody back there is willing to come out here and call me out. But you did. You showed me a lot Spike. You showed me you have a lot of backbone. As much guts as you may have, Molly is still a little bimbo.

You can't talk about her like that. You take it back.

Molly slaps Austin.

You earned my respect. Molly, I guess you earned my respect too.

Austin puts out his hand for a shake.

Spike grabs Austin's hand and they shake.

Spike turns around and Austin gives Molly the stunner. Austin leaves.

During the break, Austin and the Dudleyz stare at each other.

Backstage, Dudleyz tell Spike that he did a good job, he stuck up for what was right. Dudleyz say in all the time they've been in the WWF they have never received a world title shot.

King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match
Kurt Angle vs Jeff Hardy
Overhead belly to belly suplex by Angle. Wastelock suplex by Angle. Angle clips Jeff. Jeff hits a baseball slide dropkick. Jeff walks the guardrail on Angle. Back in the ring Angle hits a german suplex. Big boot by Jeff followed up by the legdrop to the groin. Clothesline by Angle. Angle misses a moonsault. Jeff hits the swanton bomb but Angle gets his foot on the ropes. Jeff goes back up and Angle pulls him down. Angle puts the ankle lock on Jeff for the submission.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Backstage, Austin tells Debra that he needs someone who can listen to him. Debra says she can. Austin says he needs someone who understands him. Austin asks Debra what does she know about being a champion. Debra says she used to be the Women's Champion. Austin laughs at her and walks off.

Backstage, Regal tells Tajiri he has to face Rhyno tonight. Austin walks in. Regal says Spike came in and wants a match with him tonight. Austin says he doesn't want to do a title shot. Regal says that's ok and makes this match instead - Dudleyz and Austin vs Jericho, Benoit, and Spike. Austin says he needs someone who can listen to him and that is Tajiri. Austin asks regal to leave so he can have a few minutes alone with Tajiri. Regal leaves.

Michael Cole interviews Tazz. Hardcore Holly interupts and makes fun of Tazz because he is a commentator. Hardcore issues a challenge to Tazz for tonight. Tazz accepts.

Kane is shown at WWF NY watching a kid play a quarter hand crane game. The kid doesn't get nothing. Kane puts his quarter in and gives it a try to no avail. Kane busts the glass of the game and grabs a bunch of toys and hands them to the kid.

Stalker footage is shown on the Titan Tron. He is watching Undertaker and Sara get in the truck and leave the house. Before they leave, Undertaker asks Sara to go in the garage and get something. She walks in but Undertaker tells her never mind, not to worry about it. Undertaker and Sara leave. Stalker says tonight, there will be no more disguising his voice and the world will know who he is.

Hardcore Holly vs Tazz
Hardcore hits a top rope legdrop for a two count. Head and arm tazplex. Clothesline by Tazz. Powerslam by Hardcore for a two count. Tazz locks on the tazzmission for the win.
Winner: Tazz

Backstage, Austin is explaining all his problems to Tajiri. Tajiri is agreeing with everything Austin says. Austin lets Tajiri hold the title for a second. Austin asks Tajiri what he thinks the solution is. Tajiri says his gibberish. Austin says Tajiri is a very wise man. Austin and Tajiri bow to each other. Regal interupts and says Tajir's match is next and they have to leave.

Backstage, Edge and Christian talk. Edge asks Christian why he used the spear. Christan ask did Edge invent the spear. Angle interupts and says their arguing is pointless. Angle tells them they have no shot since he is in the semifinals. Edge and Christian leave. Angle says it's good to be the king.

King of the Ring Quarterfinal Match
Rhyno vs Tajiri w/ William Regal
Chops by Rhyno. Huricanrana by Tajiri. Tajiri with a moonsault to the outside on Rhyno. Back in the ring Rhyno hits a spinebuster for a two count. Tajiri hits the handspring into a back elbow. Taji puts the octopus on Rhyno. Tajiro moves to the ropes and applies the tarantula. Tajiri misses a kick. Rhyno counters with a powerbomb. Tajiri counters the gore with a kick to the head. Regal instructs Tajiri to go up top. Tajiri comes off the top and Rhyno hits him in mid-air with the gore for the pin.
Winner: Rhyno

Backstage, Regal tells Tajiri that he blew it. Regal tells tajiri to get out of his sight.

The Stalker rides to the ring on Undertaker's motorcycle. The Stalker gets in the ring, takes off his mask...It's Diamond Dallas Page! Undertaker, like the diamond cutter, you never saw it coming. Thos of you that know me are asking the question why. Why did DDP go after the Undertaker like this? If you want to make an impact in this business, you go after the biggest, meanest, baddest dog in the yard. You make it personal. You find that dog's weakness. You've been telling people for years that this ring is your yard. Well, we'll see. You have never showed weakness up until a few weeks ago, when you told Austin that if he ever messed with your family you would make him famous. Austin is already famous! You said they you were not afraid of anything. I am calling you a liar. You are scared to death. There is a positive side to this. DDP has made your wife famous. Speaking of famous, nobody deserves to be more famous than DDP. I'm using you to get to the top of this business. I will see you at King of the Ring. You got a problem with me? Cool. I'm begging you. Make me famous. DDP leaves through the crowd as security comes out.

Edge w/ Christian vs Perry Saturn w/ Terri
Clothesline by Edge for a two count. Crucifix by Saturn for a two count. Over head belly to belly suplex by Saturn. Clothesline by Saturn. Saturn with a top rope crossbody. Saturn hits the fishermen's suplex but Christian puts Edge's foot on the ropes. Edge with a jumping ddt for the pin.
Winner: Edge

Vince McMahon arrives to the arena in a limo.

Matt Hardy w/ Lita vs Albert
Clothesline by Albert. Matt dropkicks Albert in the knee. Albert sends Matt out of the ring. Albert catches Matt coming off the top and press slams him. Matt with a ddt for a two count. Clothesline by Albert for a two count. Albert catapults Matt in the ropes. The referee disqualifies Albert for refusing to release a choke hold on Matt. Albert goes after Lita. Matt hits Albert with the twist of fate. Xpac and Credible double superkick Matt. Jeff comes in to make the save. Lita hits Xpac with the huricanlita. Xpac and Credible double superkick Jeff. Albert gives Jeff the baldo bomb.

Backstage, Vince asks Austin how he feels mentally. Austin says he has tunnel vision. Vince asks Austin about the hug he gave him last week, and wants to know what he was thinking. Austin wonders what's wrong with a good old fashioned hug. Vince says the petition would have been pointless no matter how many names he had on it because Linda would have not changed it. Vince asks Austin what he was thinking about accepting the six man match tonight. Austin gets mad and tells Vince to choose between him or Linda.

During the break Vince gets in his limo and leaves.

Backstage, Spike thanks Jericho and Benoit for helping save Molly last week. Benoit tells Spike it had nothing to do with him or Molly. Benoit gets in Spike's face and mimmicks Austin. Jericho and Benoit laugh it off and tell Spike to lighten up.

Backstage, Edge and Rhyno discuss the possibilities of KOTR. Christian walks up and is jealous because he hasn't made it to the semifinals yet. Christian makes a big deal out of it because he has to face Big Show. Rhyno reminds Christian that even if he does beat Big Show then he will have to face Angle, and Angle said they didn't have a chance.

Big Show vs Christian w/ Edge
Match starts out with Christian sneaking up on Show. Show attacks Edge on the ring apron. Show drops Edge across the guard rail. Show drops Christian to the mat and steps on him. Show kicks Christian out of the ring. Show pushes Angle in the face. Edge and Christian hit Show with conchairto while Angle distracts the referee. Christian gets the easy pin.
Winner: Christian

Spike Dudley, Chris Jericho, and Chris Benoit vs Dudley Boyz and Steve Austin
Bubba and Jericho trade punches. Jericho clotheslines Bubba. Bubba drops Jericho across the ropes. Dudleyz flapjack Jericho. Jericho with the enzeguri on Dvon. Benoit german suplexes Dvon. Benoit chops Dvon down. Spike hits Dvon with a top rope stomp to the chest. Spike comes off the top and Dvon clotheslines him in mid-air. Triple team on Austin. Spike rolls Austin up for a two count. Dudleyz set up two tables on the outside. Bubba slaps Spike in the face. Bubba backdrops Spike. Bubba slams Spike by his hair. Spike punches Bubba between the legs. Whassup headbutt on Spike. Benoit and Austin trade punches. Benoit german suplexes Bubba. Jericho hits Bubba with a missile dropkick. Benoit kicks Austin down in the corner. Jericho with a springboard shoulderblock on Dvon off the ring apron through the table. Dudley dog on Bubba. Benoit with three german suplexes on Austin. Benoit misses the swan dive. Austin mule kicks Benoit. Austin mounts Benoit with punches. Austin kicks Benoit down in the corner. Austin counters the Dudley dog by throwing Spike out of the ring through the second table. Austin shoves the referee down. Austin brings a chair in the ring. Jericho intercepts the chair and opens up on Austin. Walls of Jericho and Crippler Crossface on Austin at the same time for the submission.
