At the current time there are no plans to have an Undertaker vs Stalker match at KOTR. However, it is expected that the identity of the Stalker will be revealed at KOTR. Samir Nurmohamed sent this in Part One of Interview with Chris Benoit Date: June 16, 2001 Show: Live Audio Wrestling This past Saturday on Live Audio Wrestling, Chris Benoit was in the MoJo AM 640 studios. Benoit was in town for the house show at the ACC in Toronto, Canada. I have broken down the interview into 2 parts, due to the length of the actual report. I will post the second part of the interview later this week. But here is what the Canadian Crippler had to say in the interview: » Benoit said that it was Austin's idea to take the 10 German Suplexes on WWF SmackDown! in Edmonton. The Crippler said that Austin showed a lot of trust by himself to do this. » Chris Benoit mentioned that one of the reason why he came to the WWF was so that he could work on his promos. Benoit said that he hopes to have promos just as good as Arn Anderson's someday. » He emphasized that he is very aware of his body's limits. Chris tells us that he is always, "in tune with his body." Benoit said that he was alright after the bump he took in his match against Angle on WWF RAW is WAR. » Benoit discussed a little about New Japan and the Indies circuit. He said that in New Japan you wrestle on instinct, since the Japanese wrestlers cannot speak English. Also, he said that he wanted to learn lots of styles of wrestling, and he wanted to be like the Dynamite Kid. » Chris said that he can't pick one individual who he could make the best match with since he wrestles so many different styles. Chris Benoit goes on to say he has been really happy with a lot of his matches. Also, he said that he loves the challenge of facing different wrestlers and styles in the ring. » Chris Benoit tells us that his favourite suplex is definitely the German. » Benoit emphasized that he loved feuding with Booker T. He said that Booker T is one of the biggest secrets in the industry since he works for WCW. Benoit said that he and Booker put a lot of work into their matches with each other. » Chris Benoit tells us that it was really exciting for him to see Paul Heyman back in the WWF. Benoit continues to say positive things about Heyman, including that there is nobody else that has more enthusiasm than the former owner of ECW. Thanks for Reading, Samir Nurmohamed Dustin Tingue sent this in WWF RAW is WAR tickets go on sale Saturday for the RAW show in Buffalo on July 23. They have been doing promos for it all week and they were announcing the superstars to be in attendence and they said that Rikishi and Val Venis would be there, so that might hint that they'll be back around late July. Geoffrey Spaulding sent this in This past Sunday night was a very special Father’s Day Edition of Top Rope Radio. This show hosted by Liberty All-Star Wrestling commissioner, Bay Ragni & the Deacon Lucky Larry is heard on 1540 am WNWRradio on Philadelphia Sundays from 5pm-6pm and also on http://www.TopRopeRadio.com The first guest on the show was the “walking riot”, Missy Hyatt. Show kicks off as Missy says that her book release date has been delayed. The company that was going to publish the book (TV Books run by Lorne Michaels) has filed chapter 11 bankruptcy. There’s now a bidding war for the book. One of the publishers mentioned is Simon & Schuster. She hopes the book will be out in August. She says that all of her friends she did naughty things with are going to be ok, but those that got her mad, better watch out. She announces the start up of a website, http://www.wrestlingviXXXens.com Its going to be an adult pay site with her and Tammy Stych being the main people to start if off. They both shot the content this weekend. She says that the pic will include chats, webcams, and the pictures will change each week. Says that the Wrestling Internet is a lot like the National Enquirer, they say things that aren’t very true. Then she goes on to call Florida radio dj Bubba the Love Sponge the biggest jabronie in the world. While her and Tammy were on the show, she went on to say how “small” Val Venis was. This got him to contact Edge, Test & Christian who went onto to rag about Tammy and Missy without even knowing them. Says that there is no respect in the business nowadays. None of these guys had to work for Bill Watts or drive 5000 miles a week. She got her start in wrestling as she was dating Hollywood John Tatum. While he was in World Class, David Manning approached her about being a manager and she agreed. Right now John Tatum is living in Florida. His father is the mayor of Pensacola, John works at the Fairgrounds. She then says that John was actually a much better golfer than he was a wrestler and would some times make more money on the golf course than he would have in the ring. He was so good, he could have turned pro. She worked for a brief time in the WWF. Was going to be the follow up to Piper’s Pit, but was just that bad. Feels that if Vince would have spent more time training her she could have gotten better. But she went back to the NWA, which just bought the UWF. Feels now that since Vince owns everything its bad cause there is no competition. She wants to go to law school and wants to start negotiating wrestler contracts. Feels that wrestlers today have no respect. They have no idea what kayfabe is and that everyone is too smart for own good. Back when Bill Watts ran UWF, that if baby faces and heels were in the same restaurant oron the same flight, they’d be fined. Feels that boxing is more of a work than wrestling. There are 2 boxers who show up in her book as well. She wrote the book because she felt that it was time for a book from the women’s perspective. Even those who aren’t fans of the business will enjoy all the juice and gossip in the book. She’s very proud of how she wrote everything herself, just had a few writers help her with the structure involved with a book as far as the wording. The best ECW story in the book is something involving herself, Raven, the Sandman and Sandman’s wife. She started up this website to make money. Figures she’ll make money by getting naked. She sure isn’t going to the WWF. She says that there are 9 chicks there already and he doesn’t know how to use those anyway. She didn’t become a fan of wrestling until age 17. It was something, once she saw it knew she wanted to be involved with. She’s wrestled a few matches. 10 minutes, 3 moves (that’s more than Kevin Nash). Talks about how if she was Dorothy and could click her heels, she’d go back to World Class Championship Wrestling. That was the best time in her life. She mentions Sunshine, the valet who was the true first woman of wrestling. She compliments Fritz Von Erich in the book as well as Eddie Gilbert and interesting enough Paul Heyman. Everyone was wrong to think that Paul & Missy hated each other. If she could have a little brother it would be Paul. She even talked Eddie into hiring Paul when Eddie went to Continental. Paul followed Eddie into WCW and then later into ECW. Feels that it was the worst thing that ECW folded and points out that if they hated each other why would she have been on their last ppv and get to cuss. One person she did hate was Bill Watts. Feels that he was the biggest scumbag who just liked to intimidate people. She has some good stuff about Bill Watts and his son in the book. Her new website, http://www.wrestlingvixxxens.com (which should be up in about 10 days) that her and Tammy get totally naked, use body paint on each other and roll around on a canvas, they also did some paint work on some shirts. Some will be sold on the website, also at the Brian Pillman wrestling show coming up. Other highlights of the shoot include some fun stuff on the beach and Tammy Sytch naked with a snake. They are going to try to add a new girl every week to the site. They are in negotiations with Bobcat, Major Gunns, Leia Meow and others. Feels that any of the girls out there that are any good is Stephanie McMahon. She never thought she’d be seeing a female booker ever, but right now things are in a lull right now. Talks about how now they have to get back to wrestling and how the high fliers seem to be taking over. Calls the Hardyz dog ugly and says they have no ring psychology. Puts over Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere (the Backseat Boyz) as the future of wrestling. She talks about how complimented she is when she learns that people have her pic on their walls. She even said that Justin Credible had his pic on her wall. They get to some callers who basically want Bay Ragni to bring in Missy to work at a Liberty show, which he says he is going to try to do. End of part one of this week’s show. Next guest coming up April Hunter. That interview shortly. Liberty All Star Wrestling returns to the GoodWill Fire Company in Glenolden on Saturday June 23rd with a huge show featuring the aforementioned BackSeat Boys in the first round of the LAW Tag Team title match and much more.
