  • The overnight Smackdown rating came in at 4.7 (7 share) although that rating does not include data from Oklahoma City or Memphis. Look for the final rating later today.

  • Yesterday, we reported that there was some talk about bringing Val Venis back up to the main roster. He is actually scheduled to appear on the WWF's three New Brunswick house shows at the beginning of January. He is scheduled to take on Edge for the Intercontinental title.

  • Charles Warrington, best known to WWF fans as Headbanger Mosh or Chaz of Lo Down, will be released from his WWF contract on January 14th.

    I was just flipping through the TV channels, and I saw E Entertainment Network's Top Entertainers of 2001 one-hour show. At No. 19 (out of 20), they listed The Rock. They showed a few movie clips and wrestling clips.
