Winners - Spike Dudley and Tazz

    The Aftermath:
Stacy Keibler got in the ring, and she couldn't believe her team lost!

    Backstage:
Vince McMahon was shown walking in the backstage area, and he came across Saturn and Chad Patten. Chad said that it's been a great night so far. Tazz and Spike upset the Dudleys! Vince told Chad to give Ric Flair a message, and that's to tell him that he hopes that he's not going to be upset with what he has to say to the general public. Vince told Perry that it's nice to see him, and Perry replied by saying the same thing. Vince and Chad Patten went on their way as Saturn stood there, alone.

    In ring promo:
Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring to address the general public. Vince said that he knows that some of the fans have been upset with him. The fans started chanting "Asshole, asshole!" and Vince said that he knows they've been upset with some of the decisions he's made, and he understands that. But you know what? This is the Holiday season. And as such, he is no different than all of the fans. We're all filled with the Holiday spirit. (What?) He said we're all filled with the Holiday spirit. (What?) Cut that crap out. (What?) Vince said if anyone is going to be contemplating anything, it's going to be the new year. And you'd be making new years resolutions, and Vince would like to share some of those with us. (What?) Vince said that he hates that word. (What?) They're being rude! (What?) Damnit, stop it! (What?) Vince McMahon then got out of the ring and started to leave, but he changed his mind and got back in the ring, but he was ticked off.

Vince said now then, before he was so rudely interrupted, he'd like to share with us his new years resolutions. Vince resolves to be a little more tolerant of the mistakes of others. To be more patient of the less intelligent. To be more understanding of the financially challenged. Resolves to be even more powerful than he has ever been! Wooo! Ric Flair's music hit, and he made his way out to the arena! Ric Flair walked out to the ring, and Vince gave Flair a dirty look as he got in the ring and got a mic. Vince tried to say something, but Ric told him to shut up. Ric said on behalf of the entire wrestling world, one new years resolutions we'd like Vince to make every year is for him not to come out here week after week, continuously making an ass out of yourself! Vince said he doesn't know why Ric came out here and interrupted him, but if he goes too far, Vince will embarrass Flair in front of every single person here in this arena. He will knock Flair on his ass!

The fans kicked in with "Woooo!" and Ric said that he is going to take one moment from Vince's life, and one moment from the fans life and explain to them why he hasn't already knocked Vince on his. Vince mentioned the word tolerant a while ago. The reason Ric is so tolerant of Vince, and it needs to be said for the whole world to hear, and it's because Vince knows Ric's story. He knows that in 1988, he was having all kinds of problems with the NWA. Vince called him on the phone, and he said Ric Flair, we want you in the World Wrestling Federation. Ric's answer was that he was NWA all the way! The next night, he was in the sports arena, defending the National Wrestling Alliance. Later, he called Vince back, a beaten man, knowing that he had nowhere to go. Knowing that they had killed his self confidence, and he wanted one more chance to go to work for Vince. What did Vince say? Vince said that if he's got it, bring it, and Flair did. And you know what Vince did? Things were going good, and then Vince put him in the Royal Rumble, and he wrestled for one hour, and at the end of that hour, he was the World Wrestling Federation Champion. The most coveted trophy in sports.

Flair knew it, Vince knew it. He walked out on TV and said NWA is this, and that. He lied. He had a job, and he always knew the WWF was getting bigger. He was proud to be there, and he walked into the room with tears in his eyes, and thanked Vince for giving him this opportunity. Then, when it couldn't get any bigger, Vince told him that he's in the main event of Wrestlemania against the Macho Man Randy Savage. Ric walked out there, and his fans, family, and friends saw him there for the main event. He made it as high as you possibly can go in life. It was unbelievable. It was so good that he stayed when everybody was gone. He watched his mom and dad, wife and kids get in the limo and drive off. When he walked down the hallway towards his locker room, he saw Vince, and Vince told Ric that he needed to talk to him. Ric knew Vince was going to say that he was the greatest wrestler of all time. That was awesome, man. Guess what. Remember what Vince said? Vince said every time he gets this close to greatness, you do something stupid and take a step backwards. So for all that Vince has given Flair, God only knows that he put his feet back on earth in 1991.

He's always wanted to ask Vince one question. WHO ARE YOU TO EVER TELL FLAIR HOW TO WRESTLE? HE'S RIC FLAIR! WHO IS HE TO EVER TELL FLAIR HOW TO EVER WRESTLE A MATCH? HE MAY BE THE GREATEST PROMOTER OF ALL TIME, BUT YOU NEVER TALK DOWN TO RIC FLAIR ABOUT WRESTLING! Ric calmed down a moment, and then he said that he is so sick of Vince placing himself right there like God all mighty! Even Ric's own kid says: Dad, I saw Mr. McMahon on TV. He's buff, he's jacked, he's cool. WHAT? HOW DO YOU THINK FLAIR FEELS HAVING HIS 13 YEAR OLD KID, KNOWING WHO FLAIR IS, TELLING HIM THAT HE'S BUFF? IT DON'T WORK. So guess WHAT. Just to see where he stood in this great company of ours, he went through all the contracts, and he happened to pull one that reads: Vince McMahon - Owner / Wrestler. That means Vince is double dipping. It also means that Vince McMahon is going to wrestle at the Royal Rumble! ONE ON ONE. Vince asked who's got the balls to step into the ring with him? Flair responded by saying: THE NEXT GUY THAT KNOCKS YOU ON YOUR ASS! WHAM! Flair laid out Vince, and then he said "THE NATURE BOY, RIC FLAIR, WOOOOO!"

Christian went down in the corner, and it's time for the stink face! Test made his way out to the ringside area and Rikishi saw him and he went after him and the two brawled their way up the ramp as the referee counted Rikishi out of the ring to award the match to Christian.
Winner by count out, and still WWF European Champion, Christian

    The Aftermath:
Rikishi continued to beat up on Test and he slammed him into the steel steps and then Rikishi got in the ring and he knocked Christian down with a super kick and then he gave him the stink face in the corner! Test then got in the ring and he gave Rikishi a big boot to knock him down and out.

    Backstage:
Lance Storm was shown, and Kurt Angle showed up, excited to have Lance as a partner tonight. The Rock and RVD won't know what hit them. Lance said that he doesn't want to beat them, he wants to annihilate them. Lance said that The Rock and RVD are over rated. Kurt told Lance that no one is more charismatic than Lance Storm, and Lance told Kurt that he's way cool. Kurt then told Lance that they're going to beat The Rock and RVD so bad that they'll be more useless than Grant Hill.

    Backstage:
Christian was shown in the backstage area, washing his face and he said he can still taste it. Funaki was shown, and he was laughing, and he told Christian that he has a stinky face! Christian told Funaki that he knows what he's trying to do, and he isn't going to bring him down. He's going to celebrate his win against Rikishi. That's right, he just beat Rikishi. When has Funaki ever had a win that big? Not only is he the Champion of Europe, but he's a virtual giant killer! Christian left, and said so long, and Funaki said horse's ass!

    Earlier Today:
Chris Jericho, the Undisputed Champion was shown lounging by a pool, and he said that he hopes that everyone had a very Merry Christmas. Even though Mr. McMahon was kind enough to give him the night off, he wouldn't dream about forgetting about the little people, and depriving everyone of their Thursday night dose of Y2J. He knows that everyone had to go back to their low paying jobs and stand in long lines to return Christmas gifts that they never wanted in the first place. He can't relate to that, because he got everything he ever wanted this Christmas. He became the Undisputed Champion and cemented his status as the Living Legend. Chris has heard all of the fans remarks, and he took a shot at Ric Flair. What has he done to be called a living legend? Has he ever won an Undisputed Championship? No. He's never beaten The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin in one night. He's never successfully defended the Championship against the guys that Chris Jericho has gone against and defeated within a 3 week period. He doesn't call himself a living legend because it looks good on a t-shirt, or because it's a catchy phrase. He calls himself that, because he is. He deserves it. Look at the history. He's held just about every belt in the WWF. Don't believe him? Look it up. The best thing is that it means that he's better than all the rest, and better than all of the fans. This is only the beginning, because it's just going to keep getting better and better, just like Chris Jericho. Happy Holidays!

The Undertaker was shown in the backstage area, and Vince showed up. The Undertaker told Vince to give him the word. He'll take care of Flair. Vince said that he's going to get his, but that'll be later. Vince just wants to let the Undertaker know how much respect that he's had for him as of late. With what he did to the Hardys and Lita, it takes a man to do that. It takes a big man. A bad man. And tonight, Vince knows that he's just going to have even more respect for the Undertaker after he goes through Tajiri. A little word of caution. Tajiri's manager, Torrie, she can be a little intimidating, sometimes. The Undertaker asked if that's right and then he left the room, laughing.

The Undertaker quickly got out of the ring and slowly walked around the ring. The Undertaker walked up the ramp, backwards, and he complained about the lack of respect. The Big Show remained in the ring after the Undertaker left, and The Big Show called the Undertaker's name a number of times. The Big Show said every time he sees him, he sees him picking on somebody smaller than him. He's a real tough guy. A real bad ass! Why not come out here and pick on somebody your own size? The Big Show has something better. Why not come out here and pick on The Big Show?! The Undertaker then made his way back out to the arena and he stood on the stage and pulled down his straps, ready for a fight. The Undertaker stood at ringside and the two exchanged words as the referee got in the ring, as if to say this was a match. The Undertaker then got on his motorcycle and rode it up the ramp, and the fans booed him, for once. The Big Show told the Undertaker that he tucked his tail between his legs and rode up the ramp? It's been building for a long time. Arn told Ric that he's proud of him, and he's excited for the Rumble. Somebody showed up, and it was Stephanie. Ric greeted Stephanie, and Ric said it's been a long time, and Stephanie said that she came here to do what they do best. Discuss a little business. She has a proposition for Ric. Ric said the last one was good, and Stephanie said this is one he can't refuse. Stephanie thinks Ric should hire her back. He needs her on his side against Vince. Stephanie knows how his mind works, and she can help him out on this one. Ric said that he agrees with everything she said, but with all he's got going on with Vince right now, he's not hiring nobody, especially a McMahon. Don't take it personally, but right now, he's not hiring any McMahons. Stephanie didn't like that, and she said that Ric might be a very good wrestler, but he's certainly not a good business man, and he's incredibly stupid for not hiring a McMahon. What is his problem? He thinks he can do this without her? Does he stand a chance? Well, you know what? Her husband is coming back on January 7th, and if Ric doesn't hire her back, there's going to be some repercussions! He better think again, because if he doesn't do it the right way, it'll come back and bite him. Ric said that he'll put some serious thought into that, and Stephanie told him that he better, and Ric said that he will and Stephanie left.
