    WWF Sunday Night HEAT
    December 23, 2001
    Commentators: Michael Cole and Tazz
    Host: Al Snow


    The HEAT titles play and Michael Cole welcomes us to another Sunday Night HEAT. We are two days from Christmas. We are panned down to see loads of people walking into WWF NY for the show.

    We go to the first match.

    ”The Hurricane” Helms w/ Mighty Molly vs. Crash Holly
    They lock up in the middle of the ring. Crash knees Hurricane in the gut. Crash throws a few forearms to be back of Hurricane’s neck. Crash throws Hurricane in the corner. Crash follows with a few punches. Crash throws Hurricane out of the corner. Hurricane gives Crash an arm bar take down. Hurricane throws Crash into the ropes and Crash jabs Hurricane in the temples. Hurricane throws Crash in the corner. Hurricane punches Crash. Crash gives Hurricane a clothesline. Crash grabs Hurricane’s cape, wastes a lot of time, then puts it on. Crash goes up to the top rope. Hurricane gets up and grabs the top rope. Crash falls to the top rope. Hurricane throws Crash off the top rope. Hurricane kicks Crash a few times. Crash roles out of the ring. Hurricane flies down onto Crash (like a very plain whisper in the wind over the top rope). Hurricane puts Crash back in the ring. Crash goes after Hurricane but Hurricane drops him. Hurricane goes up on the top rope and comes down with an elbow to Crashes face. Crash gets up and gives Hurricane a DDT. While the ref isn’t looking Molly goes up on the top rope and gave Crash a dropkick. Hurricane covers Crash for three.
    Winner: The Hurricane

    Tazz and Cole hype the Euro Title match between Christian and RVD later tonight.

    -Commercial-

    Cole says we are “rockin” at WWF NY. He tells Tazz we have two title matches tonight on HEAT. They briefly hype the Tag Team and European Championship matches.

    Chuck Palumbo and “The One” Billy Gunn vs. Albert and Scotty Too Hotty
    ~OMG Palumbo dyed his hair blonde. Gunn definitely did a bleach job as well. bwahaha~
    Albert and Gunn start it off. Albert pushes Gunn into the corner but Gunn reverses and pushes Albert into the corner. Gunn punches Albert 5 or 6 times. Albert pushes Gunn out of the ring. Albert picks Gunn up and swings him around and around. Albert finally releases slamming Gunn to the matt. Both men are very dizzy. Palumbo and Scotty tag in. Scotty punches Palumbo a few times. Scotty throws Palumbo into the ropes. Scotty stops to do little dance. Palumbo gives Scotty a belly to belly suplex. Palumbo throws Scotty out of the ring to let Gun rough him up a bit. Gunn throws Scotty back in the ring when he’s done. Gunn tags in. Gunn kicks Scotty a few times. Gunn covers for two. Palumbo puts his foot up and Gunn drives Scotty’s face into Palumbo’s foot. Palumbo gets the ref’s attention while Gunn works Scotty’s neck over. Gunn kicks Scotty a few times. Palumbo tags in. Scotty tries to kick Palumbo but Palumbo catches his foot. Scotty grabs Palumbo and gives him a DDT. Albert and Gunn tag in. Albert has his way with both Gunn and Palumbo, giving them multiple punches. Albert splashes Gunn in the corner. Albert has Gunn and Palumbo beat down and he tags Scotty in. Scotty goes for the bulldog on Gunn. Gunn elbows Scotty in the face. Albert knocks the hell out of Gunn with a clothesline. Palumbo goes after Albert, but Albie moves out of the way and Palumbo goes over the top rope. Albert goes after Palumbo outside of the ring. Palumbo gets the better of Albert with a few punches. Back in the ring, Scotty looks at a motionless Gunn. Scotty goes for the W..O..R---Palumbo grabs Scotty by the ankle. Scotty hits the matt. Gunn hits the Fammeser and covers for three.

    Interview with Al Snow
    We come back and Al Snow is making his way into WWF NY. Al is wearing a Santa hat. He really gives the fan a lot of love. He walks down in front of them hugging and slapping their hands. He gets up to one and puts his Santa hat on him and gives him a kiss on the cheek (forgive me if it wasn’t a little boy). ~It was extremely sweet. Al is the man!!!~ Tazz and Snow look like they are going to have a little heat. Tazz says it’s the Holidays and they should let bygones be bygones. Cole says speaking of the holidays; he knew Snow was on the WWF float. We are taken to clips of the Holiday parade in NYC. Ivory, Snow, Bob Holly, and a cast member from TE2 were on the float. Tazz asks how miserable Bob Holly was wearing a Santa hat? Al laughs and says he wanted it off the second he put it on. There are a few chuckles from all. Snow says he had a lot of fun on the float. Cole asks Snow about TEII. Snow says the Tough Enough II’s casting special airs on Feb 28th. Al says the show is going great, better than he could have expected. Snow tells Tazz that the gang is a lot bigger and a lot different than the first cast. Tazz said he heard that there was much less babying. Snow says that the cast is less friendly and huggy as the first cast. They are actually a little more intense about what they want to accomplish. Snow ends the interview by welcoming everyone to join in on the upcoming TE shows. He wants everyone to find out what it’s like to be a star in the WWF.

    Cole and Tazz talk about Kid Rock’s song Cocky being chosen for the Royale Rumble. Tazz thinks Kid Rock is a cocky punk.

    Tag Team Championship Match
    The Dudley Boyz [c] w/ Stacy Kielber vs. Tajiri w/ Torrie Wilson and Spike Dudley

    Spike and Tajiri run into the ring. Bubba throws Spike out of the ring. D’Von and Tajiri start off the match. Tajiri gives D’Von a superkick to the face. D’Von manhandles Tajiri to the matt and covers for one. D’Von tags Bubba in. Bubba punches Tajiri. Bubba pushes Tajiri into the ropes. Bubba misses a clothesline. Tajiri gives Bubba a spinning heal kick. Tajiri tags Spike in. Spike jumps off the top rope and gives Bubba a splash. Bubba quickly changes the momentum and kicks the shit out of Spike. He gives Spike a few body slams. Bubba holds Spike so D’Von can give him a headbutt to the nads. D’Von throws Spike into the corner. Spike tries to battle back by punching D’Von a few times. D’Von gives Spike a KILLER clothesline. Bubba tags in. They double-team Spike in the corner. Bubba gives Spike a body slam. Bubba goes up to the second rope. Bubba goes to splash Spike. Spike moves and Bubba lands on his ass. Both Bubba and Spike struggle to get up. D’Von and Tajiri tag in. Tajiri kicks D’Von all over his body. Tajiri does a handspring off the ropes and gives D’Von an elbow to the face. Tajiri puts D’Von in the tarantula. Kiebler drags her claws down Tajiri’s face. Tajiri breaks the hold. Wilson runs after Kiebler. Kiebler and Wilson get in the ring and go after it. Wilson knocks Kiebler to the matt and jumps on top of her. Tajiri is very intently watching them fight. D’Von gabs Tajiri but Tajiri jumps off the ropes and give D’Von a elbow to the face. Tajiri tags Spike. Spike jumps off the top rope and splashes D’Von. D’Von gets up and changes momentum quickly. Bubba runs in and they give Spike a 3-D. D’Von covers for three.

    WWF Play of the week by play station: Big Boss Man interfering in the 1st Blood match between Austin and Booker T on Smackdown.

    They play HHH’s Desire video, music by U2 – ‘Beautiful Day’. Cole and Tazz mention that HHH will return to WWF TV on Janurary 7th.

    WWF Boot of the week by Lugs: Double figure four by RVD and Flair on Raw!!!

    Cole and Tazz talk about the deterioration of the relationship between the owners of the WWF. Tazz says they may be business partners but they are definitely not friends!

    European Championship Match
    Christian [c] vs. Rob Van Dam

    They lock up. RVD works on Christian’s arm. Christian off the ropes and RVD knocks Christian down. Christian runs off the ropes a few times. RVD drops to the matt in splits and Christian jumps over him. On Christian’s way back from the ropes RVD puts his legs up and flips Christian onto his back. RVD lifts Christian over the top rope. RVD attempts to flip over the top rope and land on Christian. Christian moves but RVD lands on his feet. RVD drops Christian on the barricade. RVD gets up on the apron and gives Christian a leg drop over the barricade. RVD puts Christian in the ring and covers for two. Christian battles back. Christian kicks RVD a few times. Christian puts RVD in the corner and punches him a few times. RVD gets out of the corner and throws Christian in it. RVD runs towards Christian. Christian moves and RVD runs right into the corner pole. Christian gives RVD a body slam. Christian covers for two. Christian holds RVD down on the matt by his throat. The ref starts the count to have Christian break the hold. Christian pushes RVD into the ropes and chokes him on the top rope. Christian puts RVD in a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring. RVD builds a little momentum and breaks the hold. Christian punches RVD. RVD gives Christian a spinning heel kick. RVD throws Christian into the ropes. RVD knocks Christian to the matt. Christian puts his legs up as RVD lands the Rolling Thunder. Christian roles RVD up for a two count. RVD jumps up on the top rope and flips backwards and knocks Christian down. RVD goes up to the top rope and hits a nasty 5 star frog splash. Jericho, with his funky red pants, runs in and literally beats the hell out of RVD. (bwhaha, sorry I couldn’t help myself)
    Winner by DQ: RVD [Christian retains]
