Tenta got the pin with his Earthquake sit-down drop. Tenta got good pops and they even announced him as Earthquake. He also had on his Earthquake outfit.

Test hit Hurricane with the big boot, but before he could make the pin Rikishi hit the ring and superkicked Test. Rikishi placed Hurricane on Test for the pin.

Albert vs Billy Gunn w/ Chuck Palumbo
Gunn and Palumbo are still wearing their red headbands with their names on them. Gunn got the pin with the fameasser and a little distraction help from Palumbo. After the match Palumbo and Gunn double teamed Albert.

Brooklyn Brawler vs Big Show
Show got the pin with a chokeslam.
Winner: Big Show

Crash Holly and Sho Funaki vs APA
Faarooq pinned Crash with the dominator.

Lilian Garcia sings the National Anthem at the top of the stage.

Michael Cole and Jerry lawler come to the announce table for Smackdown. Lawler does his America speech in the ring before being seated.

This was a non-title match. Tazmission on Bubba at the same time Spike nails Dvon with the dudley dog for the pin.

Vince McMahon comes to the ring. I know some of you are upset with me over the past year regarding some of the decisions I have made. This is the holiday season and I'm no different than all of you. We're all filled with the holiday spirit. A forward thinking individual will be making new year's resolutions, and I'd like to share some of mine with you. I hate that "what" word. Damnit, stop it! Vince gets mad and walks halfway up the ramp then comes back to the ring. I could be a little more understanding of the mistakes of others. I resolve to be more powerfull than I ever have been.

Ric Flair comes to the ring. On behalf of the entire wrestling world, one of the resolutions we would like you to make this year is not to come out here week after week and make an ass of yourself.

Why did you come out here and interupt me? If you go too far I will emberass you in front of everyone here. I will knock you on your ass.

I am going to take one moment from your life and my life to explain to them why I haven't already knocked you out. You mentioned tolerate. The reason I am so tolerant of you is because you know my story. In 1988 I was having all kinds of problems in the NWA. You called me and said you wanted me in the WWF. I said I was true heart NWA. I turned down your offer. A year later I called you back, a beaten man, knowing I had no where to go. Knowing that I had one more chance to go to work for you. You said if you got it to bring it. And I did. And the next month I found myself at Survivor Series with Undertaker, Hulk Hogam, Dibiase, etc. It couldn't get any better. Then you put me in the Royal Rumble. I wrestled for one hour. And after it was done I was the WWF Heavyweight Champion. I was proud and I thanked you for giving me this opportunity. Then you called me and informed me I was in the main event at Wrestlemania against Randy Savage. My whole family was there to see me in the main event. It was so good that I stayed till everyone was gone. Then I walked in my locker room to shower. Then I saw you and you said, every time you get this close to greatness you do something stupid and take a step backwards. So for all that you've given me, I have always wanted to ask you one question. WHO ARE YOU TO EVER TELL ME HOW TO WRESTLE! I'm Ric Flair and you are Vince McMahon. Don't ever talk down to Ric Flair about wrestling. I am so sick of you placing yourself like god almighty. You are not. How do you think I feel having my 13 year old kid tell me that you are buff and I am not. Just to see where I stood in this great company, I went through all the contracts and one of them reads, "Vince McMahon owner/wrestler." That means your double dipping. It also means that your gonna wrestle at the Royal Rumble one on one.

Christian vs Rikishi
Test comes down the ramp. Rikishi sees him and meets him on the outside with punches. This causes Rikishi to get counted out. After the match Rikishi gives Christian the stink face. Test sneaks back in and hits Rikishi with the big boot to the face. Christian then gives Rikishi the unprettier on the Euro belt.
Winner by Countout: Christian

Backstage, Kurt Angle tells Lance Storm how great it is to have him as a partner tonight against Rock and RVD.

Backstage, Christian is washing his mouth out from the stinkface. Funaki is laughing at Christian. Christian says he was just celebrating his big win over Rikishi. Christian walks off saying he is a giant killer. Funaki calls him a horse's ass.

Earlier today, Jericho is shown sitting at poolside with his Undisputed titles. Jericho says Vince was kind enough to give him the day off. Jericho says he got everything he ever wanted for Christmas - he won the undisputed championship and he cemented himself as a living legend. Jericho talks about all the good things he has accomplished and what Flair hasn't. Jericho ends by saying things will keep getting better for himself.

Trish got the pin with a rollup. After the match Jazz hits the ring and lays out both girls with ddt's.

Backstage, Undertaker tells Vince to give him the word and he will take care of Flair. Vince says he will take care of him. Vince says it takes a big, bad man to do what he did to the Hardyz and Lita, he respects him. Undertaker has to take on Tajiri tonight and if he does to Tajiri, what he did to Hardyz and Lita, Vince will respect him even more. Vince tells Undertaker that Tajiri's manager, Torrie Wilson, can sometime be a little intimidating. Undertaker says, oh really, and laughs.

It is announced that Rhyno will be the special guest on the December 30 edition of Heat.

Tajiri w/ Torrie Wilson vs The Undertaker
Undertaker made Tajiri tap out with a dragon sleeper. After the match he wouldn't let go of the hold and Big Show came down to the ring. Undertaker stepped out of the ring and walked up the ramp staring at Show.

Big Show is still in the ring and calls out Undertaker. Every time I see you, I see you picking on someone smaller than you. You are a real tough guy. Why don't you come out here and pick on somebody your own size? Come out here and pick on me. Undertaker walks down the ramp and stares at Show. Instead of getting in the ring, he gets on his bike, that he conveniently left out there, and rides to the back. Show gets back on the mic and says he respects Undertaker. Show says for his new year's resolution he will respectfully kick Undertaker's ass.

Backstage, Palumbo and Gunn see Stacy Keibler strecthing her legs. They grab a can of hair spray and say they could use it. Stacy says that is her hairspray. They call her a calendar girl. Then they start doing some calendar poses of their own for her. Stacy rolls her eyes at them and walks off.

Backstage, Ric Flair and Arn Anderson talk. AA says he's proud of Flair for challenging Vince to a match at the Rumble. Stephanie enters. AA says he should leave. Stephanie has a proposition for Flair - he should hire her back. She says he needs her on his side in this fight against her father. She knows her father better than anyone else and she could really help him out. Flair says he is not hiring anyone, especially a McMahon. Stephanie says Flair may be a good wrestler but he is not a good businessman. Stephanie says Triple H is coming back January 7, and if he does not hire her back there will be some repurcussions. Flair says he will give it some serious thought.

Kane vs Edge
Edge almost rips Kane's mask off during the match. This causes Kane to get distracted by trying to get it back on, thus Edge is able to hit the spear for the pin.
Winner: Edge

Backstage, Bossman and Booker T discuss what they are going to do in their handicap match against Austin.

Booker T and Big Bossman vs Steve Austin
Booker blindsided Austin with the harlem sidekick for the pin, Austin had just got done knocking Bossman out of the ring and that left him wide open.
Winners: Booker T and Big Bossman

After the tapings are over Austin calls for his beer cooler in the ring. Austin, laying down on his stomach in the ring, takes all the beers out of the cooler and places them on the mat. Austin stands in the corner and drinks two beers. Austin climbs the turnbuckles and salutes the fans with a toast. Austin goes to the top of the stage and drinks some more beer before leaving to the back.
