    Report by: Kevin Gregg

    WWF Smackdown! Opener:

Booker T was shown in a shot from earlier today and he was sitting in Vince McMahon's office and Ric Flair showed up. Booker T asked Ric Flair what he was doing there, and Ric said that he was doing the same thing Booker T is doing. Waiting on the man. Ric and Booker T talked, and Ric offered Booker T his contract. He and Vince talked, and Booker T has been waiting on this for a long time. Ric doesn't like it, but Vince is his partner. Booker T asked Ric what his deal is, and Ric said that he doesn't have any deal or agenda. For some reason, Vince sees Booker T as a big player. Ric told Booker T that he wants to be a team player, and he wants to make this work. Booker T looked at the contract, and it seemed to be a high paying contract, and Ric said that was a couple grand more than he ever would have put on the table for Booker T. Booker T got excited, and he asked Ric Flair for a pen, so he can sign it. He took the pen and signed the contract, and he asked Ric if he thinks he deserves this or not? Ric said that he doesn't, and Booker T said that he's worth this and a whole lot more. Now can you dig that, sucka! Booker T gave Flair the contract after signing it, and Ric told Booker T that he should be a happy man. Happy Holidays to him. Ric Flair got up and he started to leave, but he stopped and looked at the contract and smiled as Booker T was going nuts, because he got a contract with the WWF.

    In ring promo:

In the arena, The Rock's music hit and he made his way to the ring and the fans went absolutely nuts for The Rock! As The Rock was ready to speak, the fans chanted "ROCKY, ROCKY!" The Rock said tonight, The Rock goes one on one with Test. The mention of Test's name got a ton of boos, and The Rock said that Test is the man that has immunity. Let's get something straight right here right now. Ever since Test won his immunity, he's been flexing his muscles. Picking on everyone. That's impressive, but the fact remains that just because he cannot get fired, doesn't mean that he can't get his ass whooped! The Rock is confused about something. He has immunity, which means he should be happy, and he should be smiling, but he's not smiling. He's walking around, angry. What is he angry about? Who is he angry at? Just like that, The Rock figured it out. The one man who he hates more than anyone else in this world: Santa Clause. The Rock figured it out.

It all goes back to the letter he wrote to Santa when he was a little kid. It went like this: Dear Santa, you ride around on a sled, what's that all aboot? I'll keep it short and sweet. The only thing I want for Christmas is my two front teeth! The Rock says you better be careful for what you wish for, because you might just get it. Just like Santa, The Rock has a list, and he checks it twice. The Rock was thinking about three things on his list. Number 3, he gets a rematch with Chris Jericho, and once he gets that rematch, becomes the Undisputed Champion. Number 2, since The Rock is here, he wants a healthy dose of that big easy pie! Number 1, is that The Rock and Test go at it tonight, and The Rock whips Test's candy ass on Smackdown!, Live! But you see, Test, before he goes one on one with the great one, The Rock wants to leave him with something. Seeing as this is the Holiday season, and we are all in the holiday spirit, there's a song, and it's called: The 12 days of Christmas. The Rock wants to sing him 12 things that he can look forward to, tonight! The Rock will go slow at first.

On the night Test faced the great one, this is what he'll see...

    12 Sharpshooters stinging

    11 Eyebrows Raising

    10 Spins a bustin'

    9 Noggins Knockin'

    8 Kicks a kicking

    7 Punches a punching

    6 Suplex smashin'

5 Five seconds of the people chanting The Rock's Name...(ROCKY, ROCKY)

    4 Rock Bottoms

    3 People's Elbows

2 On your big buck teeth

And an ass kicking all over New Orleans!!

The fans went nuts and chanted The Rock's name, and he ended it off with the If you smellalala what The Rock is cookin'!

The Undertaker introduced Matt Hardy to the chair and he slammed Matt's throat into the chair! Oh my! Matt seemed to be in a lot of pain and the Undertaker got back in the ring and got his belt and finally left.

    During the Break:

Matt Hardy was helped out by the EMTs, and he was gasping for air.

    Backstage:

Matt was taken to an ambulance, and the Undertaker showed up, and told Matt to ask himself one question: Was the bitch really worth it?

    In ring promo:

Chris Jericho's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring as the Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion! Chris got in the ring, and he got on the mic and said that he doesn't really appreciate the response that all of the fans have been giving him lately. The fans booed, and Chris said that he used to be their hero! He used to be their favorite! They used to cheer so loudly, yet now they boo him. Why is that? Huh? Why is that? Because it's basic human nature! Because as humans, we have a tendancy to dislike those that are better than us. And quite honestly, Chris is better than all of the fans, and he is better than all the rest! Don't you people get it? Don't you realize that he is the very first and only Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion in history? Don't you realize how big of a deal that is?

Don't you realize how much respect is attached to such an accomplishment? It means that he is better educated than the fans. It means that he has a better standard of living than the fans do. And it's quite obvious from looking around that he's better looking than everyone. Especially that guy. But most importantly, he is an all around better athlete and a better Champion than all of those who proceeded him. The fans started chanting "Rocky, Rocky!" and Chris said that he is better than The Rock. He is better than Steve Austin, and he is better than even Ric Flair! And speaking of Ric Flair, speaking of the co-owner of the World Wrestling Federation, let's check out what happened during his Championship title defense against Rob Van Dam last Monday night on RAW. Let's see it. They showed the footage from RAW, and Chris said it was despicable. He'd like to thank the courage of Mr. McMahon, who in the interest of fairness prevented Ric Flair from screwing him out of his titles.

As far as Rob Van Dam goes...Rob Van Dam's music hit and he made his way out! Rob looked pissed, and Chris cut him off before he could speak. Chris said that Rob Van Dam had his chance. He had his chance to become the Undisputed Champion, but he blew it! He proved to Chris that he was exactly what he said he was, and that is not worthy enough, and that is not good enough to beat Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho is better than Rob Van Dam, but hey, he's always so cool, so he's sure that he's cool with that. He's sure that he's cool with the fact that he didn't win on Monday night, and he's probably 'cool' right now. Isn't that right, RVD. RVD then stormed to the ring and went after Chris Jericho and the two got it on in the ring! Rob took Chris down and then he gave him a number of right hands on the mat. Chris reversed RVD and then Rob got out of it and knocked Chris down with a heel kick and then he came off the top rope with the Five Star Frog Splash on Chris Jericho!

    William Regal at Home:

They caught up with William Regal at home, and he said that he spent several hours on an operating table, having his nose reconstructed. Now, he sits there, and it feels like somebody is smashing his face in with a hammer. Why? Because of Edge. When he smashed in his nose. He has got to sit there, being miserable and unhappy all over the Holidays, but he doesn't want Edge to think about that for one second. He doesn't want him to consider the fact that the next time he gets his hands on him, the pain and the suffering and the misery that he's going to put him through. He wouldn't want him to worry about the fact that when he steps into the ring with him the next time, he is going to be turned into a bloody vegetable, and Regal will become the new Intercontinental Champion. Edge did something that Regal would have done if he had the opportunity. He took a gamble, and it paid off. Regal has gambled with the devil, and the devil always wins.

Ric Flair was shown backstage, and he was laughing, and Chris Jericho showed up and complained about what Rob Van Dam did. Chris accused Ric Flair of being jealous of him. Jealous that he doesn't have the Undisputed Championship. He can't touch it, you known why? Because Chris is better than Ric Flair and Rob Van Dam and his stupid little plan. Ric said that he had nothing to do with that, and Chris accused Ric Flair of screwing with him. Ric said that he's not trying to screw with him, but he can if he wants. Chris said that he's the Champion, and Ric told Chris that he's going to defend the Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Title tonight against The Big Show, and um, it's next!
