The Undertaker then scooped Jeff Hardy up and tossed him to the outside of the ring, and the fans chanted "Lita, Lita!" The Undertaker picked Jeff Hardy up and carried him up the ramp and Lita tried to tell him to stop, but he wouldn't. The Undertaker put Jeff on the stage and then he talked trash to Lita, and told her that this is on her conscience. In ring promo:
The music of Vince McMahon hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring as the co-owner of the World Wrestling Federation. Vince got on the mic, and he said that he thinks that everyone in this arena would agree with one thing. The fans started up with the "Asshole, asshole!" chant, and Vince replied with a little southern hospitality, please. They must agree with him that Stone Cold Steve Austin is a certifiable lunatic! If they don't believe him, let's take a trip down memory lane from last Thursday on Smackdown!. Vince was up in his sweet, enjoying the show with his invited guest. For some reason, this food that was brought for Austin catches on fire. The firemen show up, and this one fireman had a certain look on his face. Austin attacked Vince, and he ran Booker T down through the arena! Austin chased Booker T out of the arena, like he was a thief! And Austin got in his pick up truck in hot pursuit until he met up with Booker T at a grocery store.

From there, Austin and Booker T got it on, and Austin got the better of Booker T at the Green Frog. Vince has to get something off his chest, and that requires one other individual to be out here when he does. Stone Cold, come on out. Vince knows that he's back there somewhere. Don't make Vince wait all night. That won't be healthy for him! Vince told Austin to get his red neck butt out there, and Austin's music hit and he made his way out with a "WHAT?" shirt on. The fans hit Vince with the "What?" chant, and Vince said that he hates that word. (What?) He said he hates that word. (What?) Austin grabbed the mic, and the fans chanted "Austin, Austin!" Austin asked Vince he wants what from him? He wants him to what? Vince took the mic, and he told Austin that he wants him to apologize to Booker T for what he did. Austin replied with a "What?"

He wants him to come out and apologize to Booker T? (What?) He wants him to say he's sorry? (What?) He wants him to say he wishes he never did that? (What?) Booker T stole his truck? (What?) Booker T cost Stone Cold the Undisputed Title? (What?) And Vince wants him to apologize? (What?) Austin was nice enough to take Booker T on a shopping spree. (What?) He bought him ketchup, (What?) beer, (What?) grey poupon, (What?) etc, etc. (What?) And Vince wants him to apologize? (What?) He did that man a favor! (What?) He said he did that man a favor! (What?) Austin is trying to be calm, cool and collected. (What?) Calm! (What?) Cool! (What?) Collected! (What?) He came to Lafayette, and he's been sitting here all day and he got some coffee! Some food, (What?) and since he ate all that food, he drank some beers and a bloody merry. (What?) Since Vince expects Stone Cold to roll into Lafayette and act like a jackass, he's got to tell him that it just won't happen. (What?)

It just won't happen! Austin is trying to cut back the calories, but since he ate and drank so much, and he's got nothing more to say to Vince, because he's the biggest piece of crap he's seen. Right now, if you want Stone Cold to open up a can of whoop ass on that sum bitch right there, gimme a hell yeah! The fans chanted "hell yeah!" and Austin got ready. Booker T showed up on the Titantron from the parking lot. He took Austin's truck for a little joy ride. That was a sweet little number at the grocery store, but he didn't forget about it, sucka. See this truck? This is what's going to happen to Austin's punk ass. Booker T had a lead pipe and he smashed the side of the truck and the windows, and he asked Austin if he can dig that, sucka! Austin stormed out of the ring and he went to the parking lot to look for Booker T!

    During the Break:
Austin ran after Booker T, and he chased him away. Booker T got in a car and drove away as Austin chased the car, on foot. Austin then turned back and he got in his truck and went right after Booker T!

Greg told Lance to be careful, and Lance then begged Ric Flair. He needed time to prepare. Ric Flair asked Lance if he knows who he is? He is the most powerful man in sports entertainment! If Lance wins his match tonight, he'll make his life a living hell, and he's wrestling The Rock, tonight!

    Backstage:
Rob Van Dam was shown in the backstage area, and tonight, he goes against Chris Jericho. Vince McMahon showed up and wished him good luck tonight. And the other thing he wants to let him know is that Ric Flair can't make decisions on his own like Vince does. Ric Flair consulted him as to whether or not he should get this opportunity. Vince agreed with Flair. RVD deserves this, so make the best of it. The other thing is, should he win the Championship tonight, the two of them could get along real well. RVD thanked Vince, but he really doesn't see them together as a 'team.' Vince didn't seem to know what he was saying, and Rob said that Vince being the kind of guy that he is, and then there's Rob being Rob Van Dam. You know? Vince then told Rob that he hopes Chris Jericho kicks his butt tonight! And guess what? Just so he can have a birds eye view, he's going to be the guest commentator at ringside! Vince left, and Rob said "Whatever, dude."

The woman seemed confused, and she asked if everything will be all right, and Booker T said everything will be fine, and he had an evil grin on his face.

    In ring promo:
The music of Chris Jericho hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring and he got on the mic and said that he is Chris Jericho, and he is the Undisputed Champion of the World Wrestling Federation. He is the man who beat both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin single handedly, back to back, in one night! He is the man who then went on to beat Austin yet again, the very next night! He, quite frankly, is the man, period! That's why he's going to have to disappoint all of the fans by not performing, tonight. Because he is refusing to defend these Championships against Rob Van Dam. Why does he even deserve a title shot anyways? Just because the fans like to chant "RVD?" Big deal. He's nothing but a liar and a cheater, and Chris has the footage to prove it. Chris said to push play, and they showed the footage from Smackdown! when Rob Van Dam used a steel chair on Chris Jericho to get the win. Chris said there it is. There's your Van Dam. A man that will stoop so low to use a steel chair to get a win. What kind of a man would do that?

One that isn't even worthy enough to be standing next to a living legend, and one who is scared to death of Chris Jericho. Second of all, what kind of co-owner of a company would allow such an act to go unpunished? An envious one. Chris Jericho demands that Ric Flair comes to the ring right now and over turns that decision from Smackdown! and cancels this match tonight. Ric Flair's music hit and he made his way out to the ring as the 50% owner of the World Wrestling Federation! Ric got in the ring, and he went over what Chris said. He'd like him to reverse last week's decision? He'd also like him to cancel his Championship match tonight? Ric reminded that even though Chris is the Undisputed Champion, Ric is the owner, and he works for him. The answer to both is NO! Now, has Chris forgotten that he is the one that brought the chair in the ring? Ric can't help it that Van Dam use it, but he knows for a fact that he saw the referee count the three count, and those were Chris Jericho's shoulders pinned to the mat. So in Ric Flair's eyes, RVD is the number one contender! Whether he's worthy of being in the ring with him or not, we'll find out tonight. Chris said that he had nothing to do with bringing that chair in, and he should sue him for everything he has for even insinuating it.

Chris knows why Ric likes to screw with him. It's because he's envious. For the first time in his life, he wishes he was somebody else. He wishes that he had the only Undisputed Championship, right? He wishes that he was Chris Jericho, right? But he's not! Just like Rob Van Dam, Flair doesn't deserve to be standing in the same ring with the living legend, Chris Jericho. So instead of worrying about his Woooos and strutting, why not get over his mid life crisis and start living up to his responsibilities of being the co-owner of this company, just like Chris Jericho is living up to his responsibilities of being the Undisputed Champion of the World. Ric asked Chris if he heard him say mid life crisis? Hell! He had that 10 years ago! You don't get it. Ric is the boss, and he loves it. He agrees with him that the referee sucks, but the fact is that he's going to defend the title tonight! And you know what! Guess who the referee is going to be! Ric took his shirt off, and he revealed to the world that he's going to be the referee! That means no outside interference, McMahon, no chairs, nothing! Woooo!

Chris and Ric got in a shoving contest, and RVD knocked Chris down with a heel kick and then he hit the rolling thunder, and then he hopped to the top rope and he came off with the Five Star Frog Splash on Chris Jericho and then he pinned him for a two count as Vince McMahon pulled Ric Flair out of the ring! Vince then got in the ring and Ric chopped away on Vince and then he gave him a low blow and then he pulled him down to the mat and gave him a number of low blows! Rob and Ric Flair then put Chris Jericho and Vince McMahon in the figure four leg lock at the same time! Oh my, oh my!
