Notes concerning tomorrow's Raw, Henry leaves OVW, XWF news, and more Submitted by William Martinez on Sunday, December 16, 2001 at 9:29 PM EST
The following were announced for tomorrow's Raw earlier tonight on Heat:
> Tazz vs. Christian - WWF European Title
> It was also announced that there is a "rumor" that Ric Flair is pushing for Chris Jericho to take on Rob Van Dam for the unified WWF title on the show as well. That's basically a confirmation that the match will happen especially considering the Videotron Raw preview states the following: "Chris Jericho puts his title on the line."
Mark Henry has parted ways with Ohio Valley Wrestling to train for next year's World's Strongest Man competition. Apparently, Arnold Schwarzenegger personally invited Henry to compete. Henry will train under the guidance of veteran weight-lifting coach Terry Todd.
There is a followup to this story which states that Henry is only taking a 3 month hiatus. Read it HERE.
The December 25th issue of National Enquirer contains a story on the breakup of Joanie Laurer and Triple H, as supposedly told by Laurer.
At least two of the stations that were supposed to air the XWF infomercial to Detroit-area viewers did not. As of right now, it is unknown whether this was limited to two stations or even why it didn't air.
