WWF Sunday Night HEAT

Commentators: Michael Cole and Tazz
Host: CHRISTIAN!! CHRISTIAN!!

The Sunday Night Heat titles play, Cole welcomes us to another episode of HEAT live from WWF NY. Cole says there is nothing like NY for the Holidays. We are panned down a line of fans inside WWF NY. Cole announces that Tazz will face off with Christian for the European title on Raw tomorrow night. Ironically Christian is scheduled to be the guest on HEAT tonight.

We go to the first match.

Chuck Palumbo vs. Big Show
Show starts to throw punch at Palumbo. Palumbo ducks. Palumbo fires a few punches at Show. Show throws Palumbo into the corner. Show punches him a few times. Show slaps him across the chest. Show throws Palumbo’s head into the turnbuckle. Slow throws Palumbo into the ropes. Palumbo holds onto the top rope. Show goes for a boot to the face. Palumbo moves and Slow is tangled in the ropes. Slow falls down to the matt. Palumbo jumps out of the ring and rams Show’s knee over the side of the apron over and over. Palumbo gets back in the ring and goes after Shows leg. Show slaps the shit out of Palumbo and he falls backwards. Palumbo kicks Show to the matt. Palumbo covers for two. Palumbo talks to the ref about a slow count. Show makes it to his feet and gives Palumbo a HUGE clothesline. Show gives him two more. Show throws Palumbo into the corner and gives him a huge body block. Show goes for a choke slam. Palumbo kicks Show in the goodies. Gunn runs in and gives Show a famesser. Palumbo covers for three.
Winner: Chuck Palumbo

We are taken back to Smackdown, where Tazz was given a spot of glory. He won the six man tag match by locking Christian into the tazmission.

We see Christian making his way into WWF NY. He is given quite a bit of love. Tazz says that the European title will look really good over Tazz’s shoulder. Cole transitions into the feud that is starting between Booker T and Austin. We are taken to clips of Booker T screwing Austin out of the World Title on Raw Monday night. Then we see Austin get his vengeance on Smackdown! We are shown clips of Austin in his attractive Fireman suit. They play most of the clips from the Grocery Store scene. ”Price check on Jackass” (hahaha Great damn skit!) Tazz says note to self, ‘Never go shopping with SCSA!’. Cole says that both Austin and Booker T will be in Lafayette tomorrow night!

Cole says that the rumors that are circulating about the undisputed champion could be made true on Raw tomorrow night!!!

WWF boot of the week brought to you by Lugs: Jeff beating Matt at Vengeance due to Lita not seeing Matt’s foot on the rope.

Cole says we have to give Lita a break. She never wanted to be brought into this situation in the first place. Tazz says that Matt dropped her like a bad habit last week.

Saturn vs. Funaki
They lock up in the middle. Saturn backed Funaki into the ropes. Saturn gives Funaki a headbutt. Funaki bounces off the ropes and kicks Saturn into the head.
Funaki rolls Saturn up for a two count. Saturn throws Funaki off. Saturn jumps off the ropes and gives Funaki a drop kick. Saturn gives Funaki a huge upper cut forearm. Funaki rolls Saturn up for a one count. Saturn kicks Funaki in the face
Saturn covers for one. Saturn puts his knee in Funaki’s back and grabs him around the neck. Saturn racks Funaki across the face. Saturn throws Funaki into the ropes and gives him a block to the gut. Saturn gives Funaki a nasty Suplex. Saturn covers for two. Saturn looks at the ref in shock. Saturn drops a knee on Funaki a couple of times. Saturn gives Funaki a superkick to the face.
Saturn roles out of the ring. Saturn grabs Funaki’s face and rams him tin the face. Funaki wraps Saturn up for a two count. Funaki flips Saturn over and slams him to the matt. Funaki jumps up on the top rope and hits a huge cross body block. Saturn gives Funaki a huge leg drop. Saturn gives Funaki an arm drag take down and applies a shitload of pressure to Funaki’s arm. Funaki taps out.
Winner: Saturn

During Saturn’s match Cole announces that Big Show has challenged Billy Gunn to a match later tonight on HEAT. He also announces that Flair is trying to schedule RVD vs. Y2J for the World title on Raw tomorrow night.


Backstage: A WWF NY employee walks in and asks if she can get Christian anything. He orders a filet well done. He goes into great detail about that fact that he wants the filet well done. Then he orders a soufflé. She asks him if he knows how long it takes to make soufflés? He said he had all the time in the world. She doesn’t argue just asks if he would like something to drink. He says he’d like to have some Papaya juice. She said they didn’t server Papaya juice at WWF NY. She said there was a place about 17 blocks down the street; she should have someone run down and get some. He tells her there will be some extra franks in it for her. He reminds her that ‘frank’ is French for money. He says after all it’s for the Champion of Europe… (I can’t give the humor credit. Funny skit.)

Billy Gunn vs. Big Show
Gunn starts off with some big kicks to Shows ribs. Gunns starts punches Show in the face repeatedly. Show just shakes off the punches. Gunn drops back a little and Show gives him a massive clothesline. Show gives Gunn a huge arm drag take down. Gunn asks Show for mercy. Show grabs Gunn and throws him across the ring. Gunn roles out of the ring to try to catch his breathe. Show comes down outside of the ring. Show gives Gunn a big headbutt. Show throws Gunn back into he ring. Show picks Gunn up by his throat. Show taunts him a little and drops him down with a huge clothesline. Show throws Gunn into the corner and as Gunn comes staggering back out towards Show, he drops Gunn like a rag doll. Palumbo runs in but Show makes quick worked of him. Show grabs Gunn and gives him an enormous chokeslam. Show covers for three.
Winner: Big Show

Backstage: Christian is on the phone to confirm some reservations for later. The woman on the other end of the line asks him to hold for a minute. Christian says he will hold for 10 or 20 minutes if she needs it. It’s his nature, he’s from Europe. Tazz interrupts Christian’s phone conversation. Christian says he’s not going to come out for his interview because he knows Tazz has told all the fans that Tazz beat him on Raw. Christian says that from where he is from, Europe, Tazz won by cheating with an illegal choke maneuver. And that Christian didn’t really tap out; he lost his contact and he was merely trying to find it. (haha) Tazz goes along with this to get Christian to agree to come out on stage.

Interview with Christian
Christian’s theme plays and Cole welcome’s him out on the stage. Christian shows off his belt. Christian looks very uneasy about being on stage with Tazz. Christian says that it was very big of Tazz to say that he was wrong and that he cheated on Smackdown! Tazz has a confession. He lied about it. He beat Chrstian and made him tap out. Christian said, “So you are a Liar!” Tazz says that, “yeah he lies from time to time”. Tazz also said that he was going to hurt Christian tomorrow night on Raw. He was going to dismantle him. Tazz asks what’s wrong with Christian, “cat got his tongue?” Christrian asks Tazz if he was going to ask questions or just sit there and look stupid. Tazz continues to verbally berate Christian. Christian says that if they were going to use the rules of his country, Tazz’s submission hold would be illegal. Tazz begins to laugh and ask Christian what he’s talking about, “You are from Florida??!?” Tazz asks if Christian when to the gym today. Tazz said he is really going to need to work out for his match with Tazz tomorrow night. Christian says it looks like Tazz has missed quite a few gym sessions. Tazz says he doesn’t need to work out to beat Christian. Christian says, “Like they say in Europe, hasta la vista. I’m outta here. As Christian is walking out Tazz yells, “Yeah walk away like the … … you are. (From what I could tell Tazz said ‘like the fucking pussy you are.’) Christian turned around and walked back to the stage. He and Tazz stood head to head. Christian kinda pushed away from him and started to walk off again. He stopped and swung the belt at Tazz. Tazz moved and put Christian in the tazmission. The security guards pulled them apart. End of interview.

Women’s Champioinship
Jacqueline vs. Trish Stratus
Jackie kicks Trish in the gut. Jackie gives Trish a spinning heel kick. Jackie covers for two. Trish kicks Jackie in the face. Trish jumps off the ropes and Jackie kicks Trish in the face. Jackie lofts Trish up over her head and Trish lands on her back. Trish throws Jackie over the top rope. Instead of going over the rope Jackie hangs onto the rope and drags Trish over and knocks her to the floor. Jackie flips back in the ring. She sizes Trish up as she makes her way back towards the ring. Jackie baseball slides into Trish. Jackie slides out of the ring and throws Trish into the barricade. Jackie puts Trish back in the ring. Jackie gives Trish a clothesline. Jackie covers for two. Trish rolls Jackie up for a two count. Jackie slaps Trish across the chest. Jackie kicks Trish a few times. Jackie throws Trish in the corner and runs towards her. Trish gets a foot up and Jackie falls back. Trish lands the Stratusfaction on Jackie and covers for three.
