WWF developmental wrestler Russ Haas was found dead this morning. As of this time, no details have been released as to the cause of his death. Haas suffered a heart attack and seizures on September 24th. The attack was caused by an undetected blood clot which resulted in a partially blocked artery near his heart. He did resume working out following this but did not wrestle. Yesterday, Jim Ross reported that Haas was scheduled to see a cardiologist on December 18th for an evalutation but they were optimistic that the situation had cleared up and just wanted another opinion. Haas was 27. We would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Russ Haas.
