Rick Steiner to XWF, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, Hogan/Sting to XWF?

  • The XWF has signed Rick Steiner to compete at the promotion's house shows early next month. He will appear at the January 4th show in Port Huron, Michigan, the January 5th show in Toledo, Ohio and the January 6th show in Battle Creek, Michigan.

  • The XWF has also had informal talks Sting, who remains contracted by AOL Time Warner until the end of this year. There is a possibility that he could sign, especially since the XWF schedule does not require him to be on the road every week.

  • On the subject of XWF signings, negotiations with Hulk Hogan are not dead as of yet and he could return to the promotion.

  • The XWF scheduled house shows for the end of the year are being looked as somewhat of a test for the promotion. The company will begin running infomercials for the shows this weekend in Milwaukee and Chicago and the company wants to see if they can draw houses from the infomercials. Should the informercials fail, the company will look at it as a learning experience and not so much as a major setback.
