Update on Orton's injury, Smackdown news, More on WWF cuts, and more Submitted by William Martinez on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at 4:46 PM EST
As Tito reported earlier, Randy Orton suffered a separated shoulder as he was about to get called up to the WWF. Apparently, the injury happened at Tuesday's Smackdown tapings in a match against Brock Lesnar. It is expected that he will miss three to six weeks.
Last week's episode of Smackdown, which scored a final 3.3 rating, was the 83rd highest-rated primetime network program for the week. A total of 125 program were ranked.
As Tito reported earlier, the WWF is planning on making cuts to their developmental roster next week. Reportedly, between 10 and 20 cuts will be made. However, some of the veterans in OVW and the HWA are telling the talent that Vince McMahon doesn't like to make cuts before Christmas.
For those in Canada who watched Raw on TSN Monday and was a victim of TSN's editing of William Regal urinating on The Big Show, WWF.com currently has a video clip of the incident up on their website.
