IWF Continues Relationship with Pennsylvania's IWA

(Earl, PA)- The IWA Cruel School of Wrestling hosted a special live event on Saturday, November 17, 2001, in Earl, Pennsylvania. Competing on the card were IWF and IWA regulars, along with students from the IWA Cruel School and CAMP IWF. Results saw Din Mak defeat Rob Eckos, Hadrian and John Royal (with Kevin Knight) defeated Kid Extreme and Tony Reyes, JD Powers defeated Jason Havok, Roman defeated Colin Cash, Psycho B*tch defeated Mike Fashion, and Rapid Fire Maldonado eliminated Kevin Knight to win a 14-man Battle Royal.

The following day on November 18, 2001, CAMP IWF head trainer Kevin Knight led a successful "Pro Wrestling Dojo" at the IWA Cruel School in Earl, PA. IWA and IWF students polished up their in-ring skills during the four-hour workshop, which included various conditioning, agility and wrestling drills.

Stars of the IWF will also participate on the next IWA Championship Wrestling event on Friday, November 30, 2001, 8:00 pm at Riverside Hall, 1742 Pear Street, Reading, PA. Featured on the card are IWA Heavyweight Champion Biggie Biggs, IWA Tag Team Champions Kevin Knight and "High Profile" Dylan Night with Candi, Rapid Fire Maldonado, Allison Danger, Roman, Hadrian, "Debonair" Damian Adams, Psycho B*tch, and students from the IWA Cruel School and CAMP IWF.

Kevin Knight Speaks at Nutley Lions Club Luncheon

(Nutley, NJ)- CAMP IWF head trainer and former IWF Heavyweight Champion Kevin Knight was a guest of the Nutley Lions Club during their weekly luncheon on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at the American Bistro, Nutley, New Jersey. Also present at the luncheon were winners of the Nutley Grammar School "peace poster contest," along with business leaders from the township.

During his speech, Knight addressed the students about topics ranging from the importance of community involvement to the benefits of exercise and recreation activities. Each of the students was presented with a gift bag of IWF Merchandise and they posed for pictures while holding the IWF Championship belts.

Knight, a Nutley native, was presented with an official Lions Club trophy. The IWF wishes to thank Lions Club member Dr. Steven Clarke, who organized the visit as part of the IWF's Community Interaction Program.

Roman Returns Home after "WWF Tough Enough 2" Audition

(Las Vegas, NV)- After being selected as one of 223 individuals from thousands of entries, two-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Roman made his way to Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 8 for the "WWF Tough Enough 2" semi-finalist auditions. Potential cast members for the MTV show showcased their skills at Caesar's Palace. Unfortunately, Roman was not selected as one of the 13 finalists for the program, but he caught the eye of some high-ranking officials.

In October, after responding to a request from an MTV Casting Associate in which the network appealed to the IWF to submit audition tapes for the hit reality-based program, Roman was selected to audition. Even though he did not advance to the final round, Roman's progress will continue to be monitored by the WWF as he continues to strive to the top of the wrestling world. The IWF would like to congratulate Roman on his outstanding achievement.
