Here are results from the "B Talent" WWF House Show at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. This was the first wrestling show in the venue since the infamous WCW Bash at the Beach 2000. I was extremely surprised at the crowd, which was about 4-5,000, only half full. Even less than what WCW use to draw. It's sad really. Chris Jericho opened the show coming out with a cane saying he injured his leg, and couldn't wrestle Edge tonight. He this bashed The Rock to garner some heat and announced he would be the special guest timekeeper in the main event later on. Thanks to Chris Knapp for sending this report in! Show opened with the Chris Jericho comming to the ring with a cane. He bitched that he hurt his foot while kicking the Rock's ass on Smackdown. He trashes Rock a little more, says he'll be back later, and leaves. First match: The man that loves Mr. Tito, Crash Holly, vs. The Hurricane. Not a bad match, but it was hilarious when Crash mocked Hulk Hogan (he did the shirt rip off, the boot, and the leg drop)and when Hurricane mocked Buff Bagwell (he did the blockbuster, then the strut and pose). Torrie Wilson comes to ring side to distract Hurricane. Crash won with a roll up and leaves with Torrie (lucky bastard). I can't remember the names of the guys in the second match, but not that bad of wrestling between the 2, but they didn't work the crowd at all. The next match was between Rico Constino and Raven. Rico looked real good, I kinda see why JR got him called up. Raven won with the Evenflow. Now we are treated to Ron "H2O" Waterman vs. Brooklyn Brawler. Ron had some great power moves, and my god does he look like Papa Pump, but matched basically sucked. Brawler for about half the match. Brawler got a pretty decent pop though. Waterman won. Now, we get MEAT, I mean Shawn Stasiak, vs. Randy Orton Yet again, I am impressed with these OVW boys. Orton sold like a champ in this match. Lots of Meat chants and decent heat for Stasiak. Good match, with Orton winning with a roll up I think. I couldn't see because a guy in front of me had a really damn big head. Last match before intermission, Dreamer and Richards vs. Palombo and Gunn. Man, Billy Bitchcakes got the biggest pop of the night I think, don't know why. Hilarious match, with Richards humping Dreamer's face, Richards falling to his knees and going face first into Bitchcakes groin, and Billy sold it well, with a little grind. After the match, Richards tried to get up, and grabbed Dreamer's dick, so funny to watch. Match overall was good, but I was just happy I saw Dreamer finally. Palombo and Gunn won when Chuck picked Richards on his shoulder and Gunn did the fameasser. Intermission............ DDP and Hugh Morrus vs. Big Show Show worked the crowd great in this match. Not to bad, and it was nice to not see DDP get squashed like Tazz for once. Show actually sold a diamond cutter too, good job for the fat ass to move fast enough. Morris only messed up one move, and other than that, good match. Big Show won via chokeslam on DDP, and after the match, Biggy hit the chokeslam on Hugh Morris (side-note: Morrus suprised me when he actually body slammed show during the match) WWF Tag Team Titles up for grab, Duds vs. Hardys w/out lita Matt gets on the mic and blames Jeff for their loss at Survivor Series, says it's okay though. Says Jeff shouldn't wrestle because he is hurt. Duds come out, Bubba says it don't matter if it's a tag or singles match, they are gonna kick some ass. Matt and Jeff jump em. Match was nothing special at all, I've see much much better from each team, but they worked the crowd well, and they were eating it up. Duds won when Jeff accidently swanton bombed Matt after Devon rolled on him. Devon gets the pin. Main Event: Jericho as Special Time Keeper, Edge vs. Christian for the IC title. Jericho comes out on crutches, saying his condition worsened. Christian comes out and rips on the crowd. Christian Sucks chants start. Edge comes out. Back and forth match, and good overall. Crowd was worked great, and they ate it up again. At the end, Jericho gets involved to help Christian and tosses him a crutch. Edge lays out Christian with the crutch. Edge goes to hit Jericho with the crutch, Jericho ducks. Egde moves and Christian spears Jericho. Edge gets the easy pin with his DDT finisher, whatever its called, I just forgot. Show Over Good show, as I was just happy to be able to see Dreamer finally and to see the OVW guys. The WWF has some great talent in the near future, assuming the writers (the bitch whore Steph) can write a damn storyline right. Crowd was not too into in most of the night, and the arena was pretty damn empty, as it was a little over half full. Hardys had the biggest pop, with Billy Bitchcakes a close second. And Christian/Jericho had the most heat, with Duds at a close second. Thanks to Jeff Wilen for sending this report in! Not much to add to Kyle and Chris Knapp's reports (they obviously took notes; good stuff). I got there about 45 minutes late. There was a damn antique car show on the beachside in Daytona, and traffic was horrible. This was the scheduled card: Jericho vs. Christian; Edge vs. DDP; Hardys vs. Dudleys; Big Show vs. Hugh Morrus; Billy Gunn/Chuck Palumbo vs. Shawn Stasiak/Mike Awesome; Crash vs. Kidman; Randy Orton vs. Raven; Brock Lesner vs. Dreamer; Rico vs. Ron Waterman; Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler. Here's what actually happened: Well, let's see. We got one match that was actually on the card (Dudleys vs. Hardys). The rest was a mix of various wrestlers. As Jim Ross reported Friday, Stasiak and Awesome are injured, as is Jericho. Well, 2 of the 3 (Awesome, Jericho) did not wrestle. And Billy Kidman was indeed a no-show as well (friend's wedding according to Ross). It ticked me off that the advertised Torrie Wilson vs. Stacy Keibler match did not happen. Stacy was reportedly at the Thanksgiving parade, and I'm guessing she couldn't make it down for the match? As Mr. Tito would say, FINGER OF SHAME to the WWF for not delivering that match to the fans. The WWF can kiss my ass (or Mr. McMahon's ass) for that one. I can understand Jericho not wrestling (as his injury is legit). It was also nice of Jericho to show up, and even get involved in the main event of Edge vs. Christian. Jericho did not get much heat for his injury. Added notes on Dudleys vs. Hardys: A huge Lita chant started the match (she wasn't there). Hardys talk after their loss, saying on the mic they'd "get them next time."
