    WWF Smackdown! Opener:
WWF Smackdown! started off with clips from the Survivor Series, and the next night on RAW when Vince announced that there would be some drastic, dramatic changes! To start off the show, Vince fired Paul Heyman and he brought out Jerry "The King" Lawler as his replacement! At the end of the show, Vince McMahon was about to strip Stone Cold Steve Austin of the WWF Championship and he was about to hand it to Kurt Angle when Ric Flair made an appearance, revealing that Shane and Stephanie sold him their stock, and he is now 50% owner of the WWF!

    In the arena:
In the arena, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler kicked off the show on commentary! A shot of the Gravy bowl was shown, and tonight, there will be a Gravy Bowl Invitational Match! Plus, the Tag Team Titles are on the line as The Rock and Rob Van Dam meet the Dudley Boyz!

    In ring promo:
Ric Flair's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring as the 50% owner of the World Wrestling Federation! Ric Flair got on the mic and he said Happy Thanksgiving! God only knows that each and every one of us surely have something to be Thankful for on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving brought us the Survivor Series! Ric said thank God he bet on the winning team. Who would have guessed that Stephanie and Shane would have sold their stock to a consortium called the Nature Boy?! Which means now, Ric Flair is 50% owner of the World Wrestling Federation. The biggest and greatest sports entertainment group in the entire world, and Flair owns 50% of it. That works for him. As big of the Survivor Series was, Flair has something even bigger to tell us, because on December 9th, the theme of their next big pay per view will be Vengeance.

We all know that we have two great World Champions here. We have the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and we have the World Champion, The Rock. Ric Flair said that at Vengeance in San Diego, these two great Champions will enter the ring and fight until there is one. In other words, one great company, one great Champion! Whoooo! Whoooo! Vince McMahon's music hit and he made his way to the ring with the Vince McMahon swagger. Vince said that since this is Thanksgiving, he would like to extend the opportunity for everyone to thank the one man responsible for the WWF surviving. Let's hear a good, bold, Thanksgiving thank you for Kurt Angle! Imagine Vince having a 50/50 partner like Ric Flair. It goes to show you that anything can happen in this world. Vince complimented Ric, because he thinks that this is a brilliant idea. Vince agrees that we should have one Champion. Who's the better man? Is it Stone Cold? Is it The Rock? Vince likes and applauds that idea, but he has something else to offer.

If Vince is The Rock and the World Champion, he knows one thing. As much as he'd like to face Austin, he'd love to get his hands on Y2J. He would, if he was The Rock. If he was Stone Cold Steve Austin, he'd want to get his hands on Kurt Angle. So this is what he's proposing. What if, on this night at Vengeance, what if Stone Cold defends the WWF Title against Kurt Angle. The Rock defends the World Championship against Y2J, on the same night, and then on the same night, the winners of both matches face each other later on for the Undisputed World Championship? Ric Flair said that is awesome, and that's why Vince is the MAN! Vince said that he's a good business partner, isn't he? As much as they are going to get along, Vince has an issue. Vince thinks that Ric could have been a little less flamboyant in making his announcement. He waited until the Survivor Series and he waited until he was in front of his hometown fans. He made it publicly, and Vince was a little embarrassed by it.

He got over that, but he's not so sure that last Monday night, that he didn't know Stone Cold was in the building. Vince watched Ric Flair prance, and at that time, there comes Stone Cold rumbling down the ramp. He jumped in the ring and pounced Kurt Angle. Vince looked at Ric and asked him what he was going to do? He didn't do a damn thing. It was Vince McMahon that pulled Austin off of Kurt Angle. What did he get in return? Austin damn near beat the living hell out of him! What did Ric do? His 50/50 partner? What did he do? He stood there and he watched it. And then as Kurt pulled him up the ramp, he admits, his eyes were watering a little bit, and he looked back and he saw Ric Flair with a can of beer in his hand, Austin with one in his hand, and the two of them drinking beer together. Now, if they are 50/50 partners, Ric will never have to worry about Vince. He'll always have his back, but in the future, when Vince jumps in, damnit, Ric jumps in with him. Vince asks Ric what kind of a partner he's going to make? Ric said that he thought he told Vince on RAW, Whoooo!

What kind of a partner he was going to be! Whoooo! Incase he doesn't get it...Whoooo! Ric Flair is going to be the kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin' jet flyin' son of a gun that's kissed all the girls and made them cry with his partner, Vince McMahon. Vince has to learn how to say whoooo!

Stacy Keibler sent an invitation for a Thanksgiving Dinner and a Gravy Bowl match, and Trish accepted it. She's dressed to kill. After 11 years, Vince can't trust him enough to let him in on the fact that Kurt Angle is on the tape with him? The Undertaker is angry, and he told Vince that Kurt is no good. The Undertaker asked Vince if he's sure he wants to do that to his boy? Vince tried to say that he wasn't his boy, and the Undertaker knows when Vince picks someone out to be their boy. Vince asks if he was his boy, why would he make this match? Vince did the right thing for the Undertaker. He always has. Vince offered the Undertaker some turkey, and the Undertaker didn't want it, but he can tell him where he can stuff it. The Undertaker told Vince McMahon that his 'boy' is going down.
