WWF Insurrextion 2002 will take place on May 4th, 2002 at the Wembley Arena in the United Kingdom. Tickets for the event go on sale December 8th at 9 AM and prices will be £50, £35 and £20, which is up from the last WWF UK pay-per-view.
According to a recent radio interview with Ric Flair, Flair wasn't contacted by the WWF until November 9th and didn't even have a contract until Monday afternoon. Flair also expressed an interest to wrestle The Rock, Steve Austin and Kurt Angle.
The WWF had a float at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was called "Get Real" and was a ring with two ladders, a broken mirror reflecting on them from the side nd an American flag hanging above it. The hosts were Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, Kurt Angle, Triple H, Lillian Garcia, Jim Ross, and (who Al Roker incorrectly identified as Michael Cole) Jonathan Coachman. Lillian burst into a rendition of "Living in America" and they went past.
