Vengeance matches announced, Status of Alliance members, and more Submitted by William Martinez on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at 9:13 AM EST
Three matches have been officially announced for WWF Vengeance. The Rock will face Chris Jericho and Steve Austin will take on Kurt Angle. The winners of both matches will wrestle in the show's main event, in which a unified world champion will be crowned.

Most of the Alliance members were sent home before yesterday's Smackdown tapings since they had no role in the show. However, they were told that they would be written into storylines within the next few weeks. The original plan was for Ric Flair to slowly start bringing back those the writers had plans for which seems to suggest that some won't be back at all. All those wrestlers remain booked for this weekend's house shows. The "contractual obligation" excuse was tossed around but that won't be the excuse used.
The WWF Pay per view site, www.wwfvengeance.com is now up. It has not yet been put on WWF.com as a link but soon will be. There isn't as much on this one as there was on the others since this is the first time Pay-per-view for Vengeance. There is no history or anything like that.
