    WWF RAW Opener:
WWF RAW opened up with the old school logo opener, and the video that was played to open up the Survivor Series. Excellent promos for those who love history.

    Charlotte, North Carolina:
A shot outside the arena was shown and the WWF Corporate Jet landed in Charlotte and the WWF Commissioner awaited the arrival of the plane. Vince summoned Mick to the jet, and Mick waited for Vince as a woman greeted him. Mick got up and went into the jet as Vince was waiting for him. Vince and Mick sat down, and Vince was eating, and he offered Mick some food. Mick said that he doesn't want anything from Vince, except he wants him to name a chair on this jet. Maybe he could be sitting on the Cactus Jack Couch, or the Mankind Chair. Vince laughed, and said how about the Dude Love toilet?! Mick said that's why Vince is who he is. Mick told Vince that he should be remembered for his greatest accomplishment.

A guy who took the WWF to the top, and he took a guy and made him no longer care. He's talking about Mick. Power should be confined to those who are not in love with it. Mick said that it means that he's not going to stick around and wait for the WWF to fall on its ass because of Vince. Mick said that he doesn't want to be the WWF Commissioner. He resigns. Vince smiled and said that he can't resign, because Mick Foley, you are ...Mick cut Vince off, and asked him if it would make him feel good inside to fire him? Go ahead and fire him, because the outcome is still the same. When he steps foot off of this plane, he no longer works with the WWF, and it means that he and Vince are through for good. That's not a bad thing, that's a good thing. Mick asked to be fired, and Vince told Mick to take care as he left, and have a nice day.

    In the arena:
The fireworks went off in the arena and Jim Ross kicked the show off on commentary as the fans went nuts! Jim Ross was sitting alone, and there is no Paul Heyman tonight! Jim said that he has no idea who will occupy this chair tonight, nor what will happen tonight.

    In ring promo:
Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring with a smile on his face! Vince got on the mic and said despite Mick Foley's resignation, tonight is a night for celebration! Because the World Wrestling Federation survived the Survivor Series. With that in mind, we owe one man a debt of gratitude perhaps they'll never be able to repay. The one man who more than any other showed his true colors. The one man who indeed deserves the fans' applause here tonight. And that one man is Kurt Angle! Because of Kurt Angle, the Alliance is dead. Because of Kurt Angle, ECW is dead! Because of Kurt Angle, WCW is dead! The only remnant of WCW that still exists is the Championship that's wrapped around The Rock's waist. And from this night forward, it'll no longer be known as the WCW Title. It's simply known as the World Championship.

Not only are they making changes in Titles tonight, there's going to be a lot of dramatic, drastic changes that take place tonight. One of those changes will be right here in this ring. The very first member who will join the Vince McMahon kiss my ass club. Maybe we never heard of that club, because it just started this morning. See, that club is simply this. Vince is allowing one member of the Alliance who seeks to be employed by the WWF, that one member of the Alliance will walk into this ring and literally kiss Mr. McMahon's ass. But speaking of the Alliance, that's nothing than what's in store for the leader of the Alliance. The moment Stone Cold Steve Austin walks into this building tonight, Vince will execute his plans. Oh it's going to be a grand night. What? And speaking of changes, you would note that there's an empty chair next to good old JR. Right now, he would like to address that empty chair. Just to show that he is a benevolent individual and not the tyrant that everyone thinks, he would now like to invite into the ring, Paul Heyman.

Paul Heyman came out to the ECW music, and he had a smile on his face as he wore a WWF hat. Paul Heyman sat down on the table, and he told Jim Ross that he got away with it, and he laughed in Jim's face. Vince McMahon told Paul Heyman to go into the ring for a minute. Come on in. Vince said just for the record, he appreciates people who speak their mind. Paul said that's him. He can do it right there at ringside. Vince said that he remembers some of the things that Paul said about him, the other day. He's all right with that. He's a first amendment advocate. So exercising his first amendment rights, he'd like to inform him that he's fired! Vince yelled "YOU'RE FIRED!" right in Paul Heyman's face! Vince told Heyman to get out of his ring! Paul started to leave, but then he took his coat off and tossed it and he challenged Vince to a fight! Vince took his jacket off and Paul Heyman got out of the ring to avoid Vince. Paul Heyman then charged at Jim Ross and tied to beat on him, but Jim Ross got up and pounded him down! "COME ON YOU SON OF A BITCH!" - Jim Ross.

Security hauled Paul Heyman away as Vince McMahon introduced Jerry "The King" Lawler! Lawler sat down next to Ross, and he told Jim Ross that it's over between he and Ross, they don't see eye to eye much, so don't get started. Ross agreed, and they are going to have a hell of a ride for commentary!

World Wrestling Federation Women's Championship Match

Lita and Matt Hardy made their way to the ring and Lita is up against Trish Stratus in a one on one match for the WWF Women's Championship! The match started off with a lock up and a side headlock by Trish. Lita pulled Trish down by the arm and then she speared her and pinned her for a two count. Trish gave Lita a body slam. Lita rolled Trish up in a pin for a two count and then Lita knocked Trish down with a series of clotheslines.

Lita whipped Trish off the ropes and she gave her a flap jack and then she pinned Trish for a two count. Lita gave Trish a number of right hands down on the mat and then she backed her into the corner. Lita whipped Trish to the other corner and gave her a clothesline. Lita whipped Trish to the other corner and Trish kicked Lita in the chest to knock her down. Trish then went to the second rope for an elbow drop, but Lita was able to avoid it. Lita then went to the top rope and Trish got up and knocked her down to the outside of the ring and Matt Hardy helped Lita up and then Trish gave Lita a baseball slide and Matt got caught in the face. Matt picked Lita up and put her back in the ring and Trish rolled Lita up in a back slide pin for a three count to get the win!
Winner and still WWF Women's Champion, Trish Stratus

    Backstage:
The Dudleys, Test, Stacy Keibler, Christian and Rob Van Dam were shown and Vince showed up. Vince said that they are the last of the Alliance. Undisputed Tag Team Champions. WWF European Champion. Test, he wins the immunity battle royal. Test told Vince that he can't fire him, and Vince said that he's right. And they have Rob Van Dam. The WWF Hardcore Champion! Vince invited Rob to join the WWF some time ago, and he turned him down. Since he's the Hardcore Champion, he must like doing things the hard way. Not that he holds anything against any of them, but tonight, Rob Van Dam will participate in a Handicap Tag Team Tables Match. That's Rob Van Dam against the Dudley Boyz! Bubba didn't like the fact that they have to fight each other, and Vince told them that their match is next. Everyone but Christian left, and Christian told Vince that he's proud to be the European Champion, and what an honor it is to be working with him again. Christian went to shake Vince's hand, but Vince told him to get out of his sight!

    Backstage:
A shot of the parking lot was shown, and we're waiting the arrival of Stone Cold Steve Austin!

    Non Title Match
    Handicap Tables Match
    Referee: Michael Chioda

The Dudley Boyz vs. Rob Van Dam (c)
Rob Van Dam made his way to the ring as the WWF Hardcore Champion, and he's up against the Dudley Boyz in this Handicap Tables Match! Stacy Keibler came to the ring with the Dudleys. The Dudleys double teamed Rob Van Dam to start it off and they whipped him off the ropes and Rob flipped over the Dudleys and then he took them down with a springboard cross body. Rob knocked D-Von down and then he knocked Bubba down. D-Von went to clothesline Rob, but Rob ducked and he hit Bubba. Rob knocked D-Von down and he hit him with the rolling thunder. Bubba caught Rob Van Dam with the Bubba bomb and then he picked him up and slammed him into the turnbuckle. Bubba gave Rob Van Dam some shots to the mid section and then he chopped him across the chest. Rob got out of the corner and he kicked Bubba in the gut and then he whipped him into the corner and gave him a couple of shoulder blocks. Bubba moved for the flipping one, and Rob hopped to the second rope and D-Von gave Rob Van Dam a neck breaker from the second rope. A nasty one, at that.

The Dudleys then went to the outside of the ring and they brought tables into the ring and set them up as the fans chanted for Rob Van Dam. The Dudleys went for the 3D, but Rob held onto the ropes and then he knocked D-Von to the outside of the ring and then he knocked Bubba down with a spinning heel kick. Rob kicked Bubba into the corner and then Rob got out of the ring and he grabbed a steel chair and he tossed it to Bubba and Bubba went to hit Rob, but Rob ducked it and then Rob Van Dam kicked the chair right into Bubba Ray's face. D-Von got back in the ring and the fans heavily chanted "RVD, RVD!" D-Von hooked Rob in a reverse DDT, but Rob got out of it and he kicked D-Von onto the table. Rob Van Dam then went to the top rope and he jumped across the ring with the Five Star Frog Splash on D-Von, but D-Von moved out of the way and Rob went down! After getting knocked out, the Dudleys put Rob in the 3D on the table, but the table didn't break, so they did it again to get the win.
Winners, the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, the Dudley Boyz

    Backstage:
Kurt Angle was shown arriving, and he's the man that saved the WWF! He had a huge smile on his face, and a guy backstage asked him how he's doing. Kurt told the guy that he's the man that single handedly saved the WWF. He's the one responsible for the guy and the entire company having jobs. How is he doing? He's doing freakin great! Kurt Angle asked the guy where he can find The Rock, and the guy told him down the hallway and to the left.

    WWF New York:
A shot of WWF New York was shown, and Linda McMahon is there tonight. Linda was shown greeting the fans.

    Backstage:
The Rock was shown in his locker room and Kurt Angle showed up. Kurt said well? The Rock asked well what? Kurt asked The Rock if he's got something to say to him? The Rock asked like what? Kurt said like thank you Kurt, for starters. Thank you for saving my job. Thank you for saving the day. Thank you for keeping the WWF in business. The Rock did his part with the pinfall, but Kurt is the guy who made it happen. The Rock said that he didn't want, ask for or need Kurt's help. The Rock would have beaten Stone Cold on his own. Besides, at what point did Kurt decide not to let anyone in the WWF except Vince McMahon in on his plan? Kurt said that Mr. McMahon said, but The Rock mocked him. The Rock said that Kurt went under cover for one long month. He bashed the WWF, The Rock and Team WWF in the head with chairs for one month. Why? All so he can have his selfish big moment.

Kurt said uh, yeah. He means boohoo. So he dented his head a little bit. Don't you think it was worth it? The Rock smiled, and he said it was well worth it. Bashing the WWF in the head with chairs. Bashing The Rock in the head with chairs. Beating on The Rock for one month to save the company. Now that the company's saved, why doesn't he try to beat up on The Rock tonight? Kurt asked him if he's challenging him to a match for The Rock's title? Kurt said that he didn't think he'd be saying this today, but thank you. Now that he did save the company, he'll have no problem beating The Rock up, just for fun. Kurt tried to leave, but The Rock said that he's not done yet. Kurt may have a lot of people fooled. Gullible. Milk Drinking, saving the day Kurt Angle. The Rock will never trust Vince McMahon and The Rock can look into Kurt's eyes and know he can never trust him. He's no savior. He's an asshole! [uncensored].

    Backstage:
A car was shown arriving, and it's not Austin. It's Shane and Stephanie. Stephanie got out of the car and she said that she couldn't believe that they have to drive themselves. Stephanie asked why Vince wants them there in the first place? Maybe Vince will give them their jobs back? Shane and Stephanie then went on their way, entering the arena.

    In ring promo:
Vince's music hit, and he made his way to the ring. There's a lot of business to conduct tonight. It looks like we're going to have a World Championship match right here in this ring. The Rock and Kurt Angle. Vince would like to continue with some other business. Unfortunately, Stone Cold isn't here, as of yet. But he couldn't help but notice who just arrived. Therefore, he would like to request that his son and his daughter Shane and Stephanie McMahon come to the ring, at this moment. No music, no fanfare. Shane, Steph, come on out. Shane and Stephanie made their way out, and the fans booed them. Vince said let's hear it for Shane and Stephanie McMahon, and that caused the fans to boo them even more.

Vince said that he can't tell them how proud he is, as a father to hear a jam packed arena shout the chant of slut to his daughter. That makes him so proud. What has happened to them? What has happened to their family? Before Vince gives the two of them a piece of their mind, he'll give them the chance to speak their first. We'll start with Shane. Shane congratulated Vince. Vince won, and Shane lost. Shane lost to the better man. The fans started chanting "Shane's a pussy!" Shane got out of the ring and he left, and it's Stephanie's turn to speak. Stephanie started off by saying, daddy. Daddy? Stephanie admitted that she made some really bad mistakes. She's young. Naive! The biggest mistake that she made was listening to her brother, Shane. This whole Alliance thing was Shane's idea. Shane bought WCW and had her buy ECW. It was all Shane! Stephanie told Vince that Shane is the one that had her slap mom.

He saw it. Shane grabbed mom and said slap her, hit her! She didn't know what to do. It was a horrible mistake. When Stephanie told Vince that she wanted him to die, that was all Shane's idea, too. Shane told Stephanie to tell her that. Stephanie doesn't want Vince to die. She never would want to hurt him. Ever, ever! As a matter a fact, the only thing that Shane said that wasn't a mistake is what he just said. Vince is the better man. He is a genius! He had the Alliance snowed all along. He knew what he was doing the whole time. The only thing she really has left to say is that she's sorry. The fans booed, and Stephanie said that she's really so sorry. Vince had a look of "For real?" on his face, and Vince requested security. Vince told them to get her out of here, and Stephanie clamped onto Vince's leg, and Vince said "Get this woman out of my ring!" Stephanie was hauled off, and Vince said say goodbye to daddy's little girl!

    Backstage:
Vince was shown backstage, and he said that he means it to someone on the phone. Someone who wants a job with the WWF will kiss his ass. Chris Jericho showed up, and Vince told the person to hang on a second. He'll call them back. Chris heard that Vince wanted to see him. What about? Vince asked Chris why he took the risk of perhaps putting the WWF out of existance at Survivor Series by attacking The Rock? Chris said to be honest, he guesses that his ego got the best of him. If Vince wants to hear this, then he apologizes. If that's what he wants to hear, he's sorry. Vince said that's great, but the apology must be sincere, and he can feel the vibes here. He knows that he apologizes, and just for the record, he doesn't like guys with big egos. If you have a massive ego, he's all right with that, which is why tonight, they are going to take his massive ego and put it in the ring. Tonight, Chris Jericho goes one on one with Kane.

    Backstage:
Another shot of the parking lot was shown, and we're awaiting the arrival of Stone Cold!

    In the arena:
Mr. T was shown in the arena, and he's enjoying RAW!

Kurt Angle stomped away on The Rock as he was down on the mat and then he picked him up and gave him some right hands. The Rock knocked Kurt Angle down with a series of right hands and then he gave him a Samoan drop and he mounted him and gave him some right hands. The Rock knocked Kurt down with a hard right hand and then Kurt whipped The Rock off the ropes. Kurt gave The Rock a back suplex and then he pinned him for a two count.

Kurt then went for the ankle lock, but The Rock rolled out of it and then he kicked Kurt to knock him back. Kurt then grabbed The Rock and gave him a belly to belly over the head suplex. Kurt stomped away on The Rock as he was down on the mat and then he choked him over the second rope. Kurt gave The Rock some right hands, and the fans chanted "Angle sucks!" Kurt didn't seem to like that, and The Rock fired back with some right hands. Kurt got The Rock in a waist lock, and then he gave him a series of German suplexes. Kurt then pinned The Rock after the third German and The Rock was able to kick out after a two count. Kurt Angle gave The Rock some right hands on the mat and then he picked him up and gave him a body slam. Kurt Angle climbed up to the top rope and The Rock knocked him down to straddle the top rope and The Rock climbed up and he gave Kurt Angle a super back suplex.

As both men were down, referee Earl Hebner started the count. The Rock and Angle got up, and The Rock gave Kurt some right hands and Kurt knocked him down and The Rock nipped up and then he went back to the right hands on Kurt Angle. The Rock whipped Kurt Angle off the ropes and he gave him an over the head throw and then a DDT. The Rock pinned Kurt Angle, but he only got a two count. Kurt Angle raked the eyes of The Rock and then he gave him some right hands. Kurt went off the ropes and The Rock caught him in a spinebuster and then The Rock waited for Kurt Angle to get up for the Rock Bottom, and Kurt was able to fight out of it. Kurt then gave The Rock the Angle Slam and then Kurt got up and celebrated and he pulled his straps down and he put the ankle lock on The Rock! The Rock countered it into a roll up pin for a three count to get the win!
Winner and still World Champion, The Rock

    The Aftermath:
After the match, Kurt Angle stomped away on The Rock and then he gave him a number of right hands into the ropes. The Rock then hooked Kurt Angle and he gave him the Rock Bottom and Chris Jericho stormed to the ring and he knocked The Rock down from behind and then he gave him a number of right hands as he was down on the mat. Chris gave The Rock an elbow drop and Kurt Angle got up and he put the ankle lock on The Rock and Chris talked trash as a couple of WWF officials came out to break it up. Chris then took The Rock down by the legs and he put him in the Walls of Jericho down on the mat as Earl Hebner and Michael Chioda tried to get him off. Chris finally released the hold and he started to leave as the fans chanted "Rocky, Rocky!" Chris decided to get back in the ring and he put the Walls of Jericho back on The Rock and the referees pulled him off.

    In the arena:
Vince McMahon's music once again hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring. Vince said to get your cameras ready, because this is going to be a Kodak moment. He's still awaiting the arrival of Stone Cold Steve Austin. However, now would be a time to find out just whom he has selected from the Alliance to give employment. To find out who he's selected to join the Vince McMahon "kiss my ass" club. With that in mind, please welcome William Regal! Vince said that he assumes that Regal has been practicing puckering in the locker room area? And he is here to seek employment. He is here to kiss Mr. McMahon's ass, right? Regal asked Vince what he would like him to do? Get coffee? Fetch things? Vince said that he doesn't understand.

He meant what he said. If he wants to be employed by the WWF, he has to kiss his ass. Regal questioned that, and Vince said that's exactly what he means. Does he want a job or not? Yes or no? Because if he doesn't want it, there's a whole line of Alliance guys back there willing to kiss his ass. So what is it? Yes or no? He doesn't have to. Regal said yes, and Vince said let's get to it, shall we? Vince took off his jacket, and he explained it to William Regal. He told him to get on his knees. That's a good spot, right there. Go ahead. Vince said that it won't hurt. It doesn't hurt. Vince stood in front of Regal, and he told him to pucker up. Oh wait, it gets better than that. Vince unbuckled his pants, and he asked Regal if he wants to be employed?

Vince pulled his pants down in front of William Regal, and Vince told Regal to go ahead. Kiss his ass. Come on. Pucker up. Oh no, it gets better than that. Vince pulled the back of his underpants down, and he told Regal to go ahead. It's a nice looking ass. "It's broken, it's cracked!" - Jim Ross. Vince made his ass do tricks in front of Regal, and Vince told him to kiss his ass. Vince said to wait a minute. He's not about to let anybody kiss his ass with chapped lips. Vince pulled out some chap stick and he told Regal to put it on. Vince told Regal to put it on, and he did just that. Vince said now damnit, kiss my ass! Vince bent over in front of Regal and Regal was slow to do it, and he kissed Vince's ass! My God.

    Backstage:
Kane was shown walking in the backstage area, and he's up against Chris Jericho, next!

    Backstage:
William Regal was shown walking backstage, and there were some guys laughing at him, and he yelled at them. Tazz showed up, and he came face to face with Regal. Regal asked him what? Does he have something to say? Regal yelled at Tazz, telling him that he'd have done the same. Tazz called him a kiss ass, and Regal knocked Tazz down and he beat him down in the backstage area.

    Referee: Teddy Long
    Chris Jericho vs. Kane
Chris Jericho's music hit in the arena and he made his way out for his one on one match against Kane! Kane came out and right after his pyro went off in the ring, Chris Jericho attacked him. Chris gave Kane a number of right hands and then Kane gave Chris Jericho an unusual back body drop. Kane powered Chris into the corner and he gave him some right hands and reverse elbows. Kane whipped Chris to the other corner and Chris kicked Kane in the face and then Kane scooped Chris up, but Chris got out of it. Chris pulled Kane onto the top rope and then he pulled Kane to the apron and hammered away on his chest. Chris went to the ring apron and he gave Kane an elbow drop as he hung off the apron. Chris Jericho then gave Kane a slingshot into the bottom of the bottom rope and then he gave him some right hands. Kane battled back with some right hands of his own and then Chris gave Kane a swinging neck breaker as he came off the ropes.

Chris went off the ropes and gave Kane yet another swinging neck breaker and then he went for the lionsault and he got it on, but Kane caught Chris by the throat and he went for the choke slam, but Chris gave Kane a low blow behind the referee's back. Chris then gave Kane a bulldog to take him down and then he went to the outside of the ring and he got a steel chair and he brought it into the ring. Chris went to hit Kane with it, but Kane kicked the chair right into Chris Jericho's face. Kane whipped Chris into the corner and he gave him a hard clothesline and then he whipped him to the other corner and gave him a tilt a whirl power slam. Kane then went to the ring apron and he climbed up to the top rope and he came off with a jumping clothesline on Chris, but Chris grabbed the chair and nailed Kane right in the head with the steel chair. The referee stopped the match.
Winner as a result of a disqualification, Kane

    The Aftermath:
Chris Jericho hit Kane with the steel chair once again, and then he tried to get the Walls of Jericho on Kane, but he couldn't get it on. Chris tried again, but he fell flat on his own face, and then he got up and he locked it on! The referee tried to get Chris Jericho off of him, but he wouldn't release the hold. Chris eventually released the hold, and he had somewhat of a limp as he walked around the ring. Chris Jericho then went for the Walls of Jericho on Kane again, but he didn't get it applied the way he would have liked. The referee got Chris off of him, and he told him to get out of the ring, and Chris did just that.

Kurt Angle was shown in the backstage area, and he was complaining, because he had The Rock beat. Kurt came across Edge, and Kurt asked Edge if he's got something to say to him. He recalls him saying last week that his true color was yellow. Kurt bet that Edge is feeling foolish. How about a thank you? Edge said that his two titles signify him saving his own job. Edge said that he thinks he knows Kurt, and he thinks that he put himself in a no lose situation. If the Alliance won, Kurt would have had a job by sticking with them. Edge knows Kurt, and he knows that he did what he did for one person and one person only. Kurt Angle. Edge left and Kurt got angry and he said "This is freakin' great."

    Backstage:
A shot of the parking lot was shown once again, and we're still awaiting the arrival of Stone Cold Steve Austin! Where is he?!

    Referee: Timothy White
    Tazz vs. William Regal
William Regal's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring, and we've got an impromptu match up with Regal against Tazz! Tazz got in the ring and Regal attacked him right away and Tazz backed Regal into the corner and kicked away on him. Tazz and Regal exchanged blows and Tazz knocked Regal down with a hard clothesline and then he got the Tazzmission on Regal, and Regal got out of it and he knocked Tazz down with a knee lift, and then he put him in the Regal Stretch. A lot of smoke in the arena. Tazz tapped out to the Regal Stretch and Regal wouldn't release the hold after the match.
    Winner - William Regal

    The Aftermath:
The referee finally got Regal off of Tazz and he left, an angered man.

    Backstage:
Kurt Angle was shown in his locker room and Vince McMahon showed up. Kurt was sulking, and Vince asked him what's the matter? Kurt said that he had The Rock beat, and nobody in the WWF gave him a thank you. He's hurt. Vince said to allow Kurt to show him his appreciation. How would he like to be the World Wrestling Federation Champion? Kurt stood up, and Vince had the belt, and Kurt said that he'd be honored. Vince said if that's the case, why not take a walk with him out to the ring? Vince and Kurt Angle then went on their way as Kurt Angle had a smile on his face.

    In ring promo:
Kurt Angle's music hit in the arena and he and Vince McMahon made their way to the ring with Vince McMahon carrying the WWF Title over his shoulder. Kurt Angle had a huge smile on his face as the two made their way to the ring, chatting with each other. Vince said that he would like to say on behalf of every World Wrestling Fan in this arena, he would like to say to Kurt Angle, thank you. Kurt raised his arm in the air, and the fans booed him. Vince repeated himself. On behalf of every person in this arena, thank you, Kurt Angle. The fans once again booed Kurt, and he didn't like that one bit. Vince said that Kurt is an Olympic Hero, an American Hero and a WWF Hero, and like it or not, he's the fans' Hero! Since Stone Cold Steve Austin has chosen to be typical Stone Cold, and that is don't show up the night after you're defeated. Exactly.

What? As far as Vince is concerned, wherever Stone Cold is, he can stay there, because we need a World Wrestling Federation Champion. A Champion with Dignity. A Champion with class. We need a Champion with credibility. (What?) We need Kurt Angle as the World Wrestling Federation Champion! Vince said that he was hoping Austin would be here, so he would have the distinct honor of stripping him of the WWF Championship. In the absence of that. Vince started to say something when Ric Flair's music hit in the arena! Ric Flair stood on the stage and yelled "Whoooo!" Ric strutted on the ramp and he got in the ring and smiled in Vince's face. Vince looked confused as to why he was there, and Vince said that he almost forgot. You know, that's pretty typical, because he's almost forgotten, but this is his hometown, isn't it? Well Mr. Flair...Ric Flair told Vince to listen to the crowd and tell him that this is his hometown tonight.

Vince said this is Ric Flair's hometown, that's great, but this is Vince's ring, and he's standing it, and he wants an explanation. Ric said the explanation he's going to give him all revolves around the fact that he bet on a winner last night, whoooo! Vince asked him what he was talking about, and Ric said that he sat home in that big house, and he bet on a winner last night. Ric told Kurt Angle that he's a man that's got Olympic Gold Medal. He's a legacy, an ambassador, this is no way he wants to win the Title. Be a winner. Win by being the best man. Vince told Ric that it was nice to see him, now goodbye. Ric said that he bet on a winner last night, and Vince knows that when Shane and Stephanie sold their stock, the consortium was Ric Flair! And now Vince and Ric Flair are limousine ridin', jet flyin', wheelin' dealin' son of a guns! You know why? Because they are partners! The Nature Boy and Vince McMahon! Whoooo!
