News and Notes from the Ross Report Submitted by William Martinez on Friday, November 16, 2001 at 7:29 PM EST
All "major surgery guys" like Triple H and Chris Benoit remain on target for the respective returns.
Mike Awesome will undergo an MRI tonight but the feeling is that he has a torn ACL, an injury he has suffered in the past. If that is the case, he will require major reconstructive surgery and significant rehab so it doesn't look good.
Booker T has been having some pain in his lower back caused by muscle spasms and has been receiving therapy on the road and at home. He will not miss any time.
Hugh Morrus will undergo an MRI in a week to determine what is causing the pain in his shoulder. He will remain active until the results come back.
X-Pac is waiting to see his surgeon for his injured neck. In the meantime, he has begun rehab.
Rhyno is said to be doing great. He is feeling more pain in his hip than his neck, which is a good sign since a piece of his hip was fused into his neck. He is wearing a neckbrace and will see Dr. Youngblood in three months. He is scheduled to return in at least six months depending on how well he heals.
Rikishi continues to work on his weight and will be headed to the HWA until December 19th following November 28th's Yokozuna tribute show. His return could take place at the Royal Rumble.
Although Scotty Too Hotty's doctor has not recommended surgery for his neck right away, he will need it eventually. In the meantime, he will be doing aggressive physical therapy at home and on the road.
Kanyon will be out four to six months after ACL surgery a few weeks ago.
Taka Michinoku is in Japan visiting his mother and rehabbing his shoulder. He should return in about four months.
Russ Haas has been following doctor's orders and seems to be doing well. The WWF will seek seperate opinions on his condition.
Johnny the Bull has a smaller cast on his broken thumb and continues to work to the best of his ability.
Other matches for Survivor Series may be added on Sunday Night Heat, just prior to the event.
Al Snow, Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Hardcore Holly will be appearing at the Holiday Christmas Parade in Los Angeles on November 25th.
Jim Ross will be riding in the WWF's float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday.
Ross will also attend the November 25th house show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tickets are almost sold out for the November 26th Raw in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Tickets remain available for Survivor Series in Greensboro, Raw in Charlotte and Smackdown in Fayetteville.
