Hall/Nash update, Hogan, Chyna, Jeff Hardy fined, and more

Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are still telling friends that they are against working 12 shows per month for the WWF, which is what has been offered by the WWF. Hall and Nash aren't too happy with the low downside guarantee offers from the company, either, if they were to sign contracts with the WWF.

Hulk Hogan has apparently told long time friends at the XWF tapings that he was interested in a WWF return, but he decided against it when Vince McMahon wanted him to work 250 dates per year. However, that contradicts what WWF officials have discussed about Hogan, signing him to a deal to only use him every once in a while as a "special attraction".

There is some controversy over the calling up of Ohio Valley Wrestling's Rico Constantino. Talent coordinator Jim Ross apparently made the move to bring Constantino up without the blessing of the writing or creative staff, who have no plans to put Rico on WWF television.

Jeff Hardy was fined for his tardiness at last week's Smackdown tapings. As we reported last week, Jeff Hardy was late for the tapings because he was apparently searching for a lost cell phone.

Rikishi and Tough Enough winner Maven are scheduled for December appearances in WWF developmental territory Heartland Wrestling Association (HWA).

Former WWF wrestler/personality Chyna will NOT be the 6th member of the 6 lady match for the Women's title, despite plenty of internet speculation. Chyna was the Women's champ before she left the WWF, after contract negotiations for more money fell through in the early part of Summer.

XWF officials have told some wrestlers that they are planning to offer extended contracts in January 2002. Apparently, some of the top names of the XWF are using the World Wrestling All-Stars promotion to put pressure on the XWF to offer up long term contracts.

Mike Graham worked a road agent at the recent XWF tapings. Graham should be noted as having an interesting career as a WCW agent, where he wasn't exactly the most liked by wrestlers.
