  • The WWF has issued the proper paperwork to all 250 semi-finalists for WWF Tough Enough 2. According to the paperwork, casting is scheduled for November 7-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada with filming beginning the following week. The cast will receive $300 per week during filming with the winner receiving one-year WWF developmental contracts at $1,000 per week. Should the WWF renew the contracts for a second year, the winners will then earn $1,500 per week.

  • Jimmy Hart is currently in the studio recording music for his XWF promotion. You may recall that Hart recorded much of the theme music in the old WCW.

  • Slam! Wrestling's chat with Diana Hart scheduled for Friday has been moved to 4 PM EST instead of 3 PM EST.

    News on Kanyon's Injury:

For those of you who have not heard, I have injured my knee. Now, before I say anything else about that, I just want it to be very clear that my opponent at the time of the injury, Randy Orton, had nothing to do with the me getting hurt. He wasn't careless and it was not a result of any lack of experience on his part. It was a fluke. Randy, in my opinion, is a DEFINITE future superstar, a great athlete, a very good wrestler with unlimited potential and just a real nice guy. There are many things that bother me about this injury, but nothing would bother me more than if this freak accident did anything to hurt the career of Randy Orton.

  • Kanyon also informs us in the rest of the commentary that he will be undergoing surgery on November 1st to repair his torn ACL. Dr. Andrews will be doing the surgery and Kanyon will be forced to miss a minimum of three months.

MTV-2 News had a report on Triple H recording some words/promos recently on the upcoming Motorhead album, which will be out in spring 2002. The segment included a number of HHH clips, and of course HHH’s entrance song, Play the Game, will be featured on the album. The host of the news program ended the show begging Triple H to come back to the WWF soon!
