Yesterday, we reported that Wahoo McDaniel had suffered a stroke. That is false. The true story is that he wasn't feeling well so he went to the hospital and found out that he had a kidney malfunction and needed a kidney transplant. He has a 105 degree fever and has started dialysis.

Went to the Omaha Smackdown yesterday evening and have a few interesting comments.
1. Security was very, VERY hard on signs and anybody yelling or getting near the floor. Many Rock Sux signs taken away. Signs that even said suck were booted. Best sign of the night, Michael Cole is a Bitch!
2. The ending to the Booker T, Jericho match was botched, really bad timing and the crowd had no idea what was going on.
3. About three fights broke out with security over the signs and picture taking.
4. Interesting note: They took away our Road Dogg and Vader Time signs because quote, " We do not find these signs appropriate because these indidviduals are no longer employed with this company."
Biggest Pops 1. EDGE (On Sunday Night Heat) 2. The Rock 3. Believe it or not Billy Gunn 4. RVD 5. Steve Austin
Biggest Boos 1. X-Factor 2. Shane MchMahon 3. Steph McMahon 4. Steve Austin 5. Tony trying to sell merhchandise, he was booed mercilessly.
[Oct 17, 2001]-Special 30 minute show Guests: Michael Cole and Jonathan"The Coach"Coachman
-Right in the opening of the show, Aaron disses Shannon. He tells Shannon that its abouttime he finally allowed him to come on the show. He says that he understands why Shannon hasn't allowed him to be on the show. The reason is because he doesn't want to be second rate to him. He then goes on to say that Shannon is trying to be the next Jim Ross, but he's not even as good as Tony Schavonie.
[Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman join the show (pre-recorded)]
-Michael asks why he can't have a nickname like The Coach. Shannon asks Michael how he broke into the business. Michael broke in the business by getting an audition, before working for the WWF, Michael worked with CBS News. Michael was sent all over the world covering a lot of the wars going on at the time, labeling himself a front line reporter. When his contract was up with CBS, he says that he knew someone that already worked for the WWF that was able to get him an audition.
-Coach was a sports anchor and was offered a deal from the WWF, which of course he took.
-Shannon asks Coach about rumors of him supposedly getting in the ring and becoming a wrestler. Coach says that it is highly unlikely that he will ever get in the ring, although he does say that its always a possibility down the road that he may have to do some in ring work.
-Michael mentions that he enjoys working with the Rock. Coach and Michael both have good things to say about everyone in the company. They describe it as being a family atmosphere, and that there is no type of locker room problems or anything like that. Coach also goes on to say that if someone came along and was messing up locker room moral, they wouldn't be around long.
-Michael Cole talks about his experience taking over as announcer when Jim Ross was sick. He firmly admits that Jim Ross is the best in the business, and he hopes to one day be as good as him. Ross worked with Cole behind the scenes even while he was sick.
-Next, Shannon asks the guys the top three matches they have called...
Cole 1. The I Quit Match between Rock and Foley 2. Austin and Benoit in Edmonton 3. Austin and Vince at St.Valentines Day Massacre
Coach (mentions he hasn't called great matches yet, but these matches stand out to him) 1. Rock and HHH hour match 2. Austin and Benoit in Edmonton 3. A match in Edmonton involving Scotty 2 Hotty, Grand Master, Rock, Mick Foley, HHH, and he mentions that he can't remember the rest. He says that the heat for this match was simply off the charts.
-Cole mentions that he likes working with all of the announcers, but mentions that him and Kevin are alike. He mentions that he misses Lawler very much.
-Coach says that Michael Hayes has taught him a lot about the business.
[Interview ends]
-Aaron talks about how he was very interested in hearing the interview with Cole and Coach and saying that they make the WWF announcing team click. Aaron talks about the IPW show. He mentions that a lot of titles changed hands. Aaron gives his view of the NWA Wildside and Florida feud. He mentions that when he thinks of wrestlers from the Georgia area, he thinks about LOD starting out there, King Kong Bundy, Rowdy Piper saving Gordon Solie, just great wrestling history. He then says that the best Wildside has now isn't good enough.
