WWF RAW, October 22nd, 2001. Live from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. Commentators: Jim Ross and Paul Heyman.
RAW Opener: They show highlights from the main event Triple Threat Match with Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle at No Mercy. The footage ends with Austin hitting Rob Van Dam with the Stunner out of nowhere to retain his title. The RAW theme music plays and the fireworks go are set off on the stage.
No Chance hits and here comes Vince McMahon hand-in-hand with his wife, Linda McMahon!
In the ring: Vince says they all know his wife Linda. Vince says for the past two months he's been busy with therapy and is in the best condition of his life. He says he sat back and he watched the attempts of Stephanie and Shane to dismantle the greatest empire ever created in sports-entertainment, the WWF. Vince says he's not gonna sit back anymore. Vince says last night he started it but tonight he's going to take care of business. He says he may need a personal jump-start however. Vince goes to kiss Linda..
Here Comes The Money. Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon come out and stand on the top of the ramp. Shane says one thing that makes him sick is watching two old people kiss. Stephanie says those two old prunes should dry away. She says they survived long enough, why don't they move down to the retirement home in Florida? Vince says he thought about that, but now is not the time. Vince says he and Linda never had everything handed to them on a silver platter like Shane and Stephanie, he and Linda earned it. Vince says they took risks, and tonight he wants to propose another caluclated risk. Vince says he's tired of this Alliance crap and this Invasion crap. Vince says this month at Survivor Series, he really wants Survivor Series to actually mean SURVIVE. Vince says it's winner take all at Survivor Series, the one blockbuster match to determine who is the final entity in Sports Entertainment.
Shane tells Vince to take the bass out of his voice. Shane says at Survivor Series, Vince is on! Vince suggests that tonight be the beginning of the end for the Alliance. Vince says it's time to take some championships away from the Alliance. Vince says let's start...with STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. Shane stops Vince. Shane says it was Vince who blasted Austin in the head with a steel chair. Austin needed 12 staples in the back of the head and had a concussion. Shane says Vince screwed himself over and Austin is not here to compete tonight. Steph says speaking of champions, she has a match for the new WCW Champion, Chris Jericho! Vince stops Stephanie. Vince says tonight, Jericho is already booked in a match and he and his partner will take the WWF Tag Team Championships off the Dudleys. Jericho's partner is, THE ROCK!
Vince says he has some more challenges for the Alliance tonight, if they're willing to accept them. Shane asks if Vince wants him to come down to the ring right now to kick Vince's ass! Vince tells Shane to bring it on. Shane takes off his coat and makes his way down to the ring. Vince takes off his coat as well. WCW Commissioner William Regal runs down and stops Shane from getting in the ring. Shane looks on from the ramp as Vince is ready to fight in the ring. Vince asks Shane to come on, what's stopping Shane from coming into the ring? Shane says Vince is lucky, Shane won't fight Vince in front of his mom. Linda McMahon asks Vince what has become of their children. Where did they go wrong? Their daughter is a man-eater, and their son is a wuss!

Lita and Trish Stratus vs. Ivory and Mighty Molly Referee: Jack Doan Lita and Molly start off. Molly with a boot to the abdomen. Lita off the ropes with a head-scissors takeover. Molly tags Ivory and Lita hits Ivory with an arm drag. Lita tags Trish. Trish with a flapjack to Ivory and a 2 count. Trish with a high kick to Ivory. Ivory sets Lita up for a body slam. Trish escapes and Ivory inadvertently hits Molly off the apron. Trish with a roll-up for the 2 count. Trish hops up to the top rope and sets Ivory up in the corner. Trish with a reverse chokehold on Ivory but Ivory whips Trish off the top and Trish lands flat on her back. Ivory tags Molly and Molly with a snapmare. Molly chokes Trish along the bottom rope. Molly hits Trish with a vertical suplex. Molly goes up top but Trish is able to straddle Molly on the top rope. Trish with a hurricanrana to Molly taking Molly off the top rope to the canvas. Molly tags Ivory. Trish tags Lita. Lita with a clothesline to Ivory and then a neckbreaker. Molly is in now. Lita whips both Molly and Ivory into the corner. Trish kneels down and Lita goes for the Poetry in Motion on the two Alliance women but Ivory counters with an elbow. Trish tosses Molly out of the ring. Lita with a boot to Ivory and then the Twist of Fate. Lita goes up top for the Moonsault and nails it. Lita with the hook of the leg and the win. Winners: Lita and Trish Stratus
Backstage: Vince introduces RVD to his wife, Linda. Vince says he needs to talk to RVD about some business. Vince says the World Wrestling Federation is his life, and he wants RVD to be a part of it. RVD says he doesn't know, all this talk about taking sides, he just doesn't know. Vince says just like Austin said to RVD, RVD is either with Vince or against Vince. RVD says he's just fine where he is right now, fine being R-V-D! Vince looks annoyed. Vince says tonight he can be RVD, defending the Hardcore Championship against the Big Show!
Backstage: Chris Jericho is shown arriving at the arena with his WCW Championship in hand.

Backstage: Matt Hardy is looking for Lita and walks in on Trish Stratus who isn't wearing a top! Trish covers herself up with a towel. Matt says he was looking for Lita. Trish says she doesn't know where Lita is, but she's going in the shower. Matt has a big smile on his face. Lita walks in and asks what Matt is doing in here. Lita looks confused. Matt says he was just looking for Lita, that's all! Lita says she's going to go take a shower now. Matt realizes Trish is in the shower and tells Lita that they should go to a secluded area instead and have a shower together, just the two of them! Matt grabs Lita and scurries out of there.
Commissioner Regal's Office: William Regal is shown in his office and Mick Foley shows up and says that it's going to be a big night, and it would be great for two Commissioners to sit together and put things together. Foley tells Regal about two matches - Tajiri vs. Kidman and Hurricane vs. Bradshaw, and he proposes that they say that it's going to be a great night of hot action, let's not have any complications, such as run-ins. Clean finishes, great night all around, and they get to play connect four! Regal looks appalled and disgusted.
Backstage: Kurt and Edge are shown, and Kurt congratulates Edge on last night. Kurt says that they used to hang out, and Kurt never liked Christian. He always had these beady little eyes. He's ugly. Edge and Kurt start to go on their way but Rhyno shows up out of nowhere and gores Edge into the garage door! Kurt wants to get at Rhyno, but a number of WWF officials restrain him!

They show Rhyno's unprovoked attack on Edge just before the commercial break.
Commissioner Regal's Office: Foley and Regal are shown again. Foley says he never really liked Rhyno, and if Rhyno has so much fortitude, why doesn't he put his U.S. Championship on the line later tonight against the Olympic Champion, Kurt Angle? Regal says Rhyno will tear Angle apart, the match is signed.
WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Tajiri w/ Torrie Wilson vs. Billy Kidman (c) Referee: Billy Silverman Tajiri and Kidman lock up. Kidman goes for a brainbuster but Tajiri reverses into a headlock takeover. Tajiri whips Kidman into the corner and then hits Kidman with an enzuguri and Kidman is sent reeling out of the ring. Tajiri with the baseball slide to Kidman on the outside. Tajiri tosses Kidman back in the ring. Tajiri goes up top but Kidman catches Tajiri as he's coming down off the top. Kidman with the sleeper and then the powerbomb for the 2 count. Kidman with the scoop slam to Tajiri. Kidman hops over to the apron and then back over the top rope with the apron leg drop. Tajiri fights back with some chops but Kidman counters with chops of his own and then a "textbook" suplex. Kidman tosses Tajiri into the corner and then Kidman charges but Tajiri counters with a roundhouse. Tajiri with kicks to Kidman and then a dropkick for a 2 count. Tajiri with his handspring elbow for a 2 count. Tajiri picks Kidman back up but Kidman nails Tajiri with a DDT for a 2 count. Kidman picks Tajiri up but Tajiri with the inside-cradle to Kidman for another 2 count. Kidman with the front-face lock but Tajiri counters with the scoop slam for another 2 count. Kidman tosses Tajiri into the corner. Tajiri avoids a charge from Kidman and Tajiri locks on the Tarantula until the referee breaks the hold. Tajiri goes for the stiff kick to the face but Kidman ducks and hits Tajiri with the Sky High for a 2 count. Kidman goes for a headlock but Tajiri pops Kidman in the face with a stiff kick and then another roundhouse to Kidman's face. Tajiri covers for the 3 count. DDP makes his way out to a WWF ring for the first time since late August. DDP says it's me! D-D-P! DDP says tonight he's here to deliver a message that everyone in the crowd can relate to: LOSING! How about those Kansas City Chiefs? DDP says all of the superstars who lost their matches at No Mercy need to know that losing their matches isn't a bad thing, it's a good thing! DDP says when you lose, you learn. You learn to eat smarter, train harder..
BOOM! Kane has heard enough and makes his way out to the ring and stand toe-to-toe with DDP. DDP says Kane's interruption isn't a bad thing, it's a good thing! DDP says this is because Kane is a perfect example of DDP's message. DDP says Kane lost to Test at No Mercy and Kane has been on the losing end most of his life. DDP says for example, take Kane's fast! DDP says as a child, Kane was badly burnt, and as a result, Kane has mangled flesh for a face. DDP says that isn't a bad thing, that's a good thing! Why? Because Kane gets to wear a mask all the time! People love masks! Halloween is just around the corner, how cool is that? DDP says no one gets to see what Kane really looks like because women would most likely vomit and little children would scream..
Kane interrupts DDP again and hits DDP with a massive Chokeslam! Kane raises his arms and sets the turnbuckles aflame and heads back up the ramp. See? That wasn't a bad thing, that was a good thing!

WCW U.S. Championship: Rhyno (c) vs. Kurt Angle Referee: Mike Chioda Kurt and Rhyno stand toe-to-toe. Rhyno and Angle lock up. Angle backs Rhyno up into the corner. Angle with a pancake to Rhyno and then a suplex. Angle tosses Rhyno into the corner but Rhyno blocks with an elbow. Angle catches Rhyno with a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle with chops to Rhyno in the corner. Rhyno whips Angle into the corner. Rhyno misses a charge and Angle hits Rhyno with a cross-body for a 2 count. Angle with more chops to Rhyno but Rhyno catches Angle with the airplane spin. Rhyno presses on Angle's neck and makes a cover for the 2 count. Rhyno boots Angle down in the corner and Rhyno with right hands to Angle. Rhyno sets Angle up on the second rope and Rhyno compresses Angle into the turnbuckle with the Gore to the ribs. Rhyno drags Angle out of the corner and Angle fights back with right hands. Rhyno catches Angle abruptly with the spinebuster for the 2 count. Rhyno tosses Angle back in the corner and boots him down. Rhyno chokes Angle with his boot. Rhyno chokes Angle along the bottom rope. Angle fights back at Rhyno with right hands until he knocks Rhyno over the top rope. Angle with chops to Rhyno on the outside as Rhyno as backed against the barricade. Angle heads back in the ring to stop the count out and as Angle heads back to the outside, Rhyno tosses Angle head-first into the barricade. Rhyno tosses Angle back in the ring. Rhyno with a sloppy neckbreaker for a 2 count. Rhyno with a sleeper and as Angle fights back Rhyno shoves Angle back down to the mat on his face. Rhyno taunts and jeers but Angle quickly locks the Ankle Lock on Rhyno! Rhyno struggles and squirms his way to the ropes. Rhyno with the eye rake to Angle and then another sleeper. Angle fights his way out of the sleeper with elbows. Both men go for the belly-to-belly suplex but Rhyno catches Angle first and Angle lands flat on his back. Rhyno with the hook of the leg for a 2 count. Rhyno with boots to Kurt Angle. Angle fights back at Rhyno and chops Rhyno in the corner. Rhyno whips Angle into the ropes and catches Rhyno with a cross-body for a 2 count. Angle whips Rhyno off the ropes and catches Rhyno with a german suplex! Angle holds on to Rhyno for a second german suplex! Angle with a third german suplex before releasing the hold. Angle makes it to his feet and hits Rhyno with the Olympic Slam! Angle isn't able to capatilize right away and is only able to get a 2 count on Rhyno. Angle goes up to the top rope for the moonsault but Rhyno moves. Rhyno is back on his feet first and motions for the Gore to Angle. Rhyno charges and hits Angle with the Gore which sends both Angle and Rhyno toppling through the ring ropes and out of the ring. Rhyno rolls Angle back into the ring and makes the cover and a 2 count. Rhyno is extremely frustrated and hammers Angle with right hands on the mat. Rhyno goes to grab Angle by the hair but Angle locks on the Ankle Lock to Rhyno! Rhyno submits! Winner and new WCW U.S. Champion: Kurt Angle
Backstage: Shane and Stephanie look very upset and shocked in their locker room as they see what just happened on the monitor. Vince and Linda, in a separate locker room, are very pleased.

WWF European Championship: Bradshaw vs. The Hurricane (c) w/ Mighty Molly Referee: Teddy Long Hurricane poses and Hurricane and Bradshaw lock up. Hurricane runs into a shoulder block from Bradshaw. Hurricane charges at Bradshaw and is tossed to the outside of the ring. Bradshaw heads outside to chase Hurricane but Molly stops Bradshaw. Bradshaw looks annoyed. Hurricane heads to the top rope and hits Bradshaw with a cross-body. Molly provokes Bradshaw to chase her but Bradshaw heads back into the ring. Hurricane takes Bradshaw off his feet with dropkicks. Hurricane with a neckbreaker. Hurricane goes for the vertical suplex on Bradshaw but Bradhsaw reverses and hits Hurricane with a vertical suplex of his own. Molly heads up top and goes for the cross-body on Bradshaw. Bradshaw catches her. Hurricane tries to save her but runs into a boot from Bradshaw. Bradshaw with a nasty fall-away slam to Molly. Hurricane goes for the Clothesline from Hell on Bradshaw but does not move Bradshaw an inch. Bradshaw with a Clothesline From Hell of his own to Hurricane and Hurricane is out for the 3 count. Winner and new WWF European Champion: Bradshaw
Commissioner William Regal's Office: Regal and Mick Foley are shown, and Mick is going crazy, because Bradshaw won. Mick says it's a hell of a night for the WWF, and let's say these Good Bars represent Title Victories. Foley gets out some Good Bars. The WWF has three, and WCW has nothing! Foley says that Hurricane guy has a lot of heart, and he's going to grant him a title rematch. Regal says the WWF might be on a role, but RVD is going to retain the Hardcore title, and The Rock and Jericho have no chance against the Dudleys!

The Undertaker and Kane vs. Booker T and Test Referee: Tim White Taker and Test start off. Collar and elbow tie-up. Test with elbows to Taker in the corner. Taker reverses and opens up on Test with right hands. Taker knocks Booker off the apron. Taker whips Test into the opposite corner but as Taker charges, Test catches Taker with an elbow knockdown and tags Booker T. Taker hits Booker with right hands but Booker knocks down Taker with a heel kick. Booker with a sidewalk slam to Taker and then a knee drop to the face. Booker with right hands to Taker. Booker whips Taker off the ropes but Taker hits Booker with a massive clothesline that turns Booker inside-out. Taker tags Kane in and Kane with an uppercut to Booker. Kane goes for an elbow drop on Booker but misses. Booker and Kane fight with right hands but Booker with a strong heel kick to the side of Kane's head. Booker tags Test. Test with multiple right hands to Kane and then Booker tagged in as Kane is isolated in the Alliance corner. Booker with kicks and fists to Kane but Kane fights back with a kick to the mid-section. Kane with a hammerlock slam and then Kane tags Taker. Taker with right hands to Taker and then Taker picks up Test by one arm and holds him high above his head. Test with the blind tag to Booker and then Test with a huge boot to the face of Taker. Test with the cover but Kane breaks up the count. Test tags Booker and now Taker is isolated in the Alliance corner. Booker with another strong kick for the 2 count with a relaxed cover. Booker tags Test. Test with reverse elbows to Taker in the corner and Test boots down the Undertaker in the corner. Test tags Booker and Booker goes for the Axe Kick on Taker but Taker dodges and catches Booker with a huge powerslam. Both men are down. Booker tags Test. Taker tags Kane. Kane with uppercuts and huge right hands to Test. Kane with a side-walk slam to Test. Booker runs in and runs right into a boot from Kane. Kane with a military press slam to Test. Booker comes out of nowhere with a sidekick and knocks down Kane. Taker tosses Booker to the outside but Booker tosses Taker knees first into the ring steps. Both Kane and Test go for the big boot in the middle of the ring and knock each other out. Kane is up first and hits Test with a neckbreaker. Booker is in the ring now and breaks up the count. Kane with a huge Chokeslam to Booker. Test goes for the Big Boot on Kane but Kane dodges. Kane goes for the Chokeslam on Test but Test is able to counter. Test now going for the Pump-Handle Slam on Kane but Taker heads back into the ring and bounces off the rope with a boot to the face of Test. This allows Kane to reverse the Pump-Handle Slam into the Tombstone (!!!) for the 3 count. Winners: The Undertaker and Kane via the TOMBSTONE
Backstage: RVD is shown on his way to the ring but Big Show cuts him off. Big Show says to RVD: "By all means, after you." Big Show steps aside and lets RVD just looks at Big Show and says, "Cool." Show says it's cool alright..

WWF Hardcore Championship: Rob Van Dam (c) vs. The Big Show Referee: Chad Patton Show with a slam to RVD but RVD fights back with right hands. RVD goes for a jumping heel kick but Show catches RVD and body slams him. Show with huge knife-edge chops and knees to the abdomen of RVD in the corner. Show whips RVD into the opposite corner and Show nails RVD with a huge clothesline. Show whips RVD off the ropes and knocks him down with a huge boot. Show pulls down the straps of his attire and roars. RVD hits Show with a heel kick but Show tosses RVD over the top rope and RVD flies to the outside and into the barricade. Show squashes RVD's head against the steel ring steps and Show with a huge chop to RVD's chest. RVD with a boot to the Big Show and Show leans over the railing. RVD with the leg drop to the head of the Big Show from off of the barricade. RVD goes and gets a various assortment of weapons from under the ring including chairs and trash cans. Show finds RVD and continues to pummel RVD with massive right hands. Show with a military press slam to RVD which tosses RVD back in the ring. RVD hits Show with a trash can but it has no affect on the Big Show. RVD goes to hit Show with a steel chair but Show just punches the chair back into RVD's face. Show picks up the chair and is ready to just hammer RVD with that chair but RVD grabs the fire extinguisher and sprays Show with it. RVD then kicks the chair back into Show's face with the Van Daminator! RVD goes up to the top rope and hits Show with the Five-Star Frog Splash for the 3 count and to retain the title. Winner and still WWF Hardcore Champion: Rob Van Dam
Backstage: Shane and Stephanie are pleased in their locker room.

They show clips from Smackdown where Maven got his first win in the WWF against Tazz.
WWF New York: Maven says he thanks the WWF to have the oppurtunity to compete on Smackdown. Maven says he's a perfectionist and he realizes he's far from perfect. Maven says he got lucky against Tazz and is far away from the main event. Maven says he's going to train at OVW and when he comes back he'll be able to beat Tazz without lady luck on his side. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Tazz comes from behind Maven and chokes Maven out with the Tazzmission! Tazz recieves a chorus of boos from the WWF New York crowd.
Commissioner William Regal's Office: Mick Foley and William Regal are shown once more, and Mick makes a match for Smackdown: Al Snow vs. Tazz! Regal said that if he wants that match, he can have it. Mick recaps the first 3 title changes that went down tonight, and RVD retained his title, but Mick feels that it'll be The Rock and Y2J capturing the Tag Team Titles from the Dudleys. Regal says not to be so sure about that, because after Survivor Series, there won't be a WWF, period.
Backstage: Rock confronts Jericho in the back. Rock congratulates Jericho on winning the big one, congratulations on the great match, one of the best of all time. Rock reminds Jericho that there will be a re-match, but not tonight. Rock says tonight they have to take the Tag Team Titles off the Dudleys and bringing them back to the WWF. Rock questions if Jericho is still WWF. Jericho says he's always WWF, and always will be. Rock says that's great, then all they have to worry about is kicking the Dudleys' candy asses! Rock is about to leave but Jericho says he has a present for Rock. Jericho hands Rock the plate that used to say The Rock's name on the WCW Championship but now has been replaced with the name "Chris Jericho". Burn. Rock says he has a present for Jericho too. Rock hands Jericho a steel chair. Rock says he's going to need that chair for the re-match.
The Dudleys make their way out to the ring, The Dudley Boyz vs. Chris Jericho and The Rock is up next!

WWF Tag Team Championship: The Dudley Boyz /w Stacy Keibler (c) vs. The Rock and Chris Jericho Referee: Earl Hebner Jericho and D-Von lock up. D-Von with a knee to the abdomen and then right hands. D-Von with a shoulderblock. Jericho leapfrogs a charge and then Jericho with a flying forearm. Jericho with knife-edge chops to D-Von in the corner. Jericho tags Rock. Rock with right hands and then a DDT to D-Von for a 2 count. D-Von is back up and springs for the tag to Bubba. Bubba with right hands to Rock in the corner but Rock reverses with right hands of his own. Bubba with a sidewalk slam for a 2 count. Bubba with right hands to Rock but Rock with a Samoan Drop to Bubba for a 2 count. Rock tags Jericho and Rock and Jericho with a double back-body drop to Bubba Ray. Bubba grabs Jericho by the hair and bounces Jericho's head off the turnbuckle and D-Von is tagged in. D-Von with right hands to Jericho but Jericho with a suplex to D-Von. D-Von tags Rock and Rock and Jericho exchange words. Rock with right hands to D-Von and then Rock bounces D-Von's head off the turnbuckle. Rock tags Jericho again. Stacy has the referee distracted on the apron and Bubba sneaks in. Bubba sets Jericho up on his shoulder and D-Von goes up top and hits Jericho with the Dudley Device! D-Von with a chinhold to Jericho and then a powerslam for a 2 count. D-Von tags in Bubba. Bubba with hard chops to Jericho's chest and then Bubba with a clothesline. Bubba knocks Rock off the apron. Rock tries to head after Bubba but the referee restrains Rock. As the ref is distracted, the Dudleys make the double-team and D-Von is tagged back in. D-Von with boots to Jericho. Bubba tagged back in but Jericho hits Bubba with a missle dropkick. Jericho tags Rock. Bubba tags D-Von. Rock with the Spinebuster to D-Von. Rock goes for the People's Elbow and nails it! Rock covers D-Von but Bubba breaks the hold. Jericho tosses Bubba to the outside and tosses Bubba head-first onto the announce table. Jericho with the missle dropkick off the top rope to D-Von but Jericho, perhaps accidentally, hits Rock! Bubba heads back in and tosses Jericho back to the outside. The Dudleys go for the 3D on The Rock but Jericho holds Bubba's leg and Rock is able to nail D-Von with the Rock Bottom! Rock with the cover and the win! Winners and new WWF Tag Team Champions: The Rock and Chris Jericho
Stephanie and Shane are shown in their locker room looking very shocked.
Aftermath: Rock and Jericho are handed their WWF Tag Team Championships. Rock picks up the WCW Championship. Rock and Jericho stand toe-to-toe as Rock stares Jericho down. Rock hands Jericho his WCW Championship. Jericho looks a little puzzled but the two put their difference aside and celebrate their tag team title win!
Vince and Linda are shown celebrating in the back.
End of show. The tone for Survivor Series is set. If the WWF wins the "big match", the Alliance is history. If the Alliance can win, the WWF is gone.
