    WWA Results from Perth, Australia
    October 20, 2001

Jeremy Borash kicked off the night with a speech about Bret Hart, gave us a
list of matches, and introduced the king,(whos dirty old man segments will
    be left out.)

    Juvi vs. Psyhcosis
Slow start to the match but they got let off becuase the Perth Crowd hasn't
seen wrestling for a while, it picked up towards the end with Juvi going for
a 450, Psyhco nutted him on the ropes, back and forward, Juvi Driver,
    1..2..3.. New International Crusierweight Champion.

    Konnan vs. Gangrel w/ Luna
Shit match, Gangrel and Luna cheated the whole way through and this one was
wrecked by a smart sitting behind me. In the end Gangrel bumped Luna off the
apron after a Konnan push, Facejam, 1..2..3.. Gangrel and Luna fought and he
threw he "wedding ring" down it looked like from where I was.

    Disco Inferno vs. Buff
Buff was suprisingly good in this match. Disco did a stupid move called
the village peoples elbow, pathetic. Buff won with the Butterfly DDT, and
didn't follow it up with a blockbuster.

Lenny and Lodi vs. Dominion (or something) and Nathan Jones
Alot of this worked in this matches favor, Lenny and Lodi played the gay
role, very very well. And the Jones charecter is a 7-foot Australian, the
match was over when you figured those facts out, and I thought it was going
to be a squash. But this match went well over it's twenty minute time limit
and had alot of good sequences and alot of heat for the Hollywood Blondes.
Dominion and Jones won after the Aussie got the Chokeslam.
    MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Funny sidepoint, when Lenny was doing the prematch gay thing he got hit in
the face with a hefty bit of rubbish, and they had to explain it was just a
gimmick with out letting the kids in on it.

    Hardcore Match
    Crowbar vs. Norman Smiley
Took awhile to get of the ground but there was some sick shit late in it,
they fought into the crowd and listened to our we want tables chant and
Crowbar jumped off a partition, where I got to touch him, and landed on
Smiley who was on the table. At that point about 5000 people where within 10
square meters of each other. They fought back to the ring, back and forth
pinning attempts, Smileymission for the win. GREAT MATCH

    Lawler vs. Stevie Ray
Shit match, Stevie squashed Lawler who got a cheap rollup win.

    Main Event
    Road Dogg vs. JJ
Never really got going, ref got knocked out, Kplonk, no ref to count,
pumphandle no ref to count, Lawler slides in and counts Road Dogg wins the
    Whatever Heavyweight Title.

A little disappointed that they didn't really explain why Bret wasn't there,
people that didn't know were pissed, Shamrock was advertised but a no show.

    Cheers:
    1. Road Dogg, amazingly enough.
    2. When the Aussies tag team won, great match and atmosphere.
    3. When Crobar put smiley throughthe table.
    4. When Crowbar got the table
    5. When Smiley touched the table
    6. When Crowbar pointed for the table.
    7. When Juvi juice won

    Jeers
    1. Lenny
    2. Lodi
    3. Lenny
    4. Lodi
    5. JJ
    6. When Stevie Ray was involved in the dirty old man segment
    7. Lodi + Lenny

Good show, but the back end of the card let it down a little. I'm pretty
    pleased for my first show.

Thanks to Wayne Biddle for sending this report in!

Just got home from the WWA show at the Perth Entertainment Centre in Perth, Western Australia. This was the first show of the tour. Around 3500 people in attendance, about one third capacity. The night went as follows.

Jeremy Borash opened the show apologizing for Bret Harts absence due to his mothers illness. Jerry Lawler came out to a huge pop.

Juventud Guerrera defeated Psicosis via pinfall
    Konaan defeated Gangrel (with Luna)
Lodi and Lenny were defeated by a team I cant recall.

Lawler then brought out some locals for a show of puppies but Stevie Ray took exception setting up their match later in the night.

    Buff Bagwell defeated Disco Inferno
Norman Smiley defeated Crowbar in a hardcore match
Jerry Lawler defeated Stevie Ray via pinfall
Main Event: Road Dogg defeated Jeff Jarret

No shows from Hart and Ken Shamrock were disappointing although Hart was understandable. They said the show would return in April 2002. Good show all around.

    Biggest pops:
    Jerry Lawler
    Road Dogg

    Most heat:
    Disco Inferno
    Stevie Ray
