WrestleLine.com, one of the most popular Internet wrestling websites over the past few years announced on the website that they were shutting down effective immediately due to changing economic conditions. WrestleLine is not the first site to succumb to these conditions as IGN Wrestling and Scoops Wrestling, among others recently closed their doors due to similar situations.

Last week's episode of WWF Smackdown! finished tied for 79th in the primetime network rankings for the week. Enterprise once again beat out the program for the highest-rated UPN program but Smackdown was about to edge out Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A total of 130 programs were ranked.
Last week's episode of WWF Raw finished with the number two and number three rankings for the week of Oct. 8-14. As usual, the second hour of Raw received the higher ranking.
