'The WrestlePlex at the WrestleFest'IPW and NWA Florida: aligned?! NWA
    Wildside invades!

Hashimoto, the bloody WarGames of IPW vs NWA, and over 400 more pictures from this mega event.

IPW Hardcore Wrestling and NWA Florida bloody each other to a pulp
inside the steel-cage, but both teams get attacked by the invading NWA
Wildside. IPW and NWA Florida, led by Ron Niemi and Howard Brody, forge a bond and promise to embarrass and annihilate NWA Wildside. Meanwhile, two IPW titles change hands the previous night.

    Who could believe this?

This happened on Day 2 of 'WrestleFest at the WrestlePlex' October
13th,2001 at the Florida WrestlePLex in St. Petersburg,Florida

IPW HARDCORE WRESTLING and NWA FLORIDA, two bitter sworn enemies whose
competitors have spilled blood in rings across the state, have 'buried
the hatchet' and joined together after both organizations were viciously attacked by NWA WILDSIDE. Over 20 Wildside competitors rushed the ring during the mammoth 'War Is Hell!' Steel Cage Match, the Main Event of the NWA 53rd Anniversary show which took place this past Saturday night at the Florida WrestlePlex. Members of both NWA Florida and IPW were left laying in pools of their own blood as the NWA Wildside viciously attacked them for more than 15 minutes.

After the attack concluded and IPW and NWA Florida were left in the
ring, former NWA President HOWARD BRODY and IPW promoter RON NIEMI shook hands as the wrestlers in the cage began to recover. Brody, along with Niemi, SCOOT ANDREWS, ICEMAN Q, and MIKE SULLIVAN, all cut promos addressing the invasion, challenging NWA Wildside to come back to Florida in the future. Rumor has it that Niemi, extremely bloody and extremely pissed off after the contest, has already contacted Brody in regards to putting together a massive group of IPW/NWA Florida guys to invade, embarrass, and annihilate NWA Wildside.

The 'Hardcore Giant' RON NIEMI had this to say afterwards: "So, BILL
BEHRENS, you overaged bestiality-practicing jackass, you and your group of thugs from NWA Wildside want to come into Florida and start a war? Well, to be quite honest , I had never heard of you before the 12th. We're the ones making all the noise. We're the ones everyone is talking about. People don't give a s*** about Georgia. Everyone knows the real talent is here in Florida. I'm sure guys like ATOMIC DOG and BARNYARD BRIGGS are making names for themselves in the sh*tty farm house inCornelia you like to call an arena, but come on, do you actually think you can hang with the IPW and NWA Florida?! IPW and NWA Florida have tremendous wrestlers like Scoot Andrews, Mike Sullivan, Jet Jaguar, Buck Q, Billy Fives, Rastaman, and the New Heavenly Bodies, who have worked for either WWF, WCW, or Japan in the last three years. You actually think you have better talent? I mean look at the past... September 5th of THIS year OUR IPW World Heavyweight Champion Scoot Andrews defeated YOUR precious AJ Styles. I'm not sure if my eyes deceived me or if I was just getting a favor from your wife in the back, but I recall Blackout,Jimmy Rave, Rick Michaels, and Total Destruction, all losing to IPW or NWA Florida talent this past weekend. You wanna talk about how great your NWA Wildside wrestlers are, yet two of them, JEREMY LOPEZ and TONY MARMALUKE, spent the majority of their careers down in Florida getting their ass handed to them on a silver platter by the IPW Cruiserweight and NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Jet Jaguar. Furthermore, I hear both Lopez and Marmaluke are coming down to represent Wildside November 3rd. I say this to both men concerning the 3rd: We'll provide the ass kicking, all you two have to do is show up. Behrens, I'm notsure if your aware of this, but you have started a war. And just like Bad Attitude with their sheep, you won't be able to finish the job that you started..."

The show was a great success in IPW's home building. STEVE CORINO
battled SHIN'YA HASHIMOTO in an extremely stiff match which saw the NWA World Title held up. Also, A.J. STYLES defeated CHRISTOPHER DANIELS in an excellent matchup in which many fans called it the best match they have ever seen.

Jaguar) vs. TEAM NWA (Iceman Q, Chris nelson, Vito DeNucci, Rod Steel
and Chaos) was declared a no-contest when NWA WILDSIDE made their way to the cage and entered, destroying everything in their wake. The WILDSIDE guys ambushed both teams inside the cage and beat them collectively to a bloody pulp. IPW guys rushed from the locker room and were severely beaten as well. WILDSIDE announced their invasion against Florida and left IPW and the NWA Florida laying in the cage. Afterwards, former NWA President HOWARD BRODY and IPW promoter RON NIEMI declared an allegiance and vowed to invade NWA WILDSIDE, embarrass them, and bloody their entire roster.

    A very brief recap:

SCOOT ANDREWS defeated 'The Fallen Angel' CHRISTOPHER DANIELS to retain his IPW Heavyweight Championship. Andrews got the pinfall after NWA Wildside's A.J. STYLES interfered. This was a great rematch of two of the very best in the entire country.

DAGON BRIGGS captured the IPW Hardcore Championship by defeating CHAOS
(with The Hardcore Princess), JUGGERNAUT, (NWA-ECCW) and DAVID YOUNG
(NWA Wildside) to capture the vacant IPW Hardcore Title when Briggs
pinned Juggernaut. Briggs, with the victory, captures his first IPW
Title and kept the title within his group, WRONGFUL DEATH. Group member HAVOC relinquished the title this past Friday due to injury....

SNOW is the new IPW TV Champion! He defeated former Champion PAT MCGROIN (with PAT POWERS), DEVIN, and STORMTROOPER to capture the belt. Earlier in the evening, Snow came to the rescue of his 'special friend' PHIL LATIO after Phil was brutally attacked by SEAN HILL and DON JUAN DESANTO. SNOW, complete with um..... 'fruity' ring attire, obviously rode the momentum to an upset victory.

NAPHTALI defeated JIMMY RAVE of NWA Wildside in an 'Anarchy Rulz' Ladder Match in one of the best matches of the night. Naph was busted open hardway but managed to have enough in the tank to execute the
Triple-Jump-Moonsault Van Terminator and get the pinfall victory.

Continuing their dominance over NWA Wildside, 'Marvelous' MIKE SULLIVAN defeated A.J. STYLES in yet another insane matchup. These two exchanged countless smooth spots but neither one could get the pin. Finally, Styles went for a quebrada, but Sullivan speared him in midair, knocked the wind out of Styles, and got the 1-2-3. A great matchup.

Ron Niemi had a tough weekend. Not only was he massacred Saturday night during the Cage Match, he was absolutely pulverized during an impromptu six-man tag team match which pitted THE SHANE BROTHERS and Niemi against QUICKIEMART and ACROPOLIS. 'Honest' EDDIE EDWARDS came out before the match and had Niemi sign a contract for 'one more title match', but Edwards swerved him and announced a six-man tag team for right now! Quickiemart then brought out their partner, the huge Acropolis, who is formerly known as MIKE WILSON, the man that Niemi and the Twins have had their problems with for months. The cocky smiles got knocked off the faces of Niemi and the Shane Brothers very quickly and this match was a wild up. The teams fought to the back with Acropolis and Niemi left in the ring. And after beating the hell out of Niemi for about seven minutes straight, Acropolis scored the pinfall to secure the victory and sweet revenge. Niemi was a bloody mess and could not stand upright after the beating.

Florida Unified Cruiserweight Champion JET JAGUAR defeated BILLY FIVES
and 'Miami Pound Machine' ROD STEEL to keep his championship. Another
classic encounter as all three were very impressive. After all three
tried to knock each other out with a sick combination of maneuvers, it
was Jaguar who climbed to the top and executed a perfect hurancanrana on Steel to get the pinfall victory.

MICHAEL TODD and PYTHON, accompanied by 'Uptown' FRANKIE CAPONE,
defeated THE SAN FRANCISCO TREATS (Sean Hill and Phil Latio) in a tag
team matchup. Todd and Python are quite the reputable duo as they
systematically destroyed their smaller opponents. Afterwards, as
mentioned above, SNOW rescued Phil from a beating from Sean Hill (who
turned on Phil) and DON JUAN DESANTO.

High-flying JUSTICE upended 'Uptown' Frankie Capone in a wild opener.
Capone was so pissed off he DDT'd referee RICHIE RICH right on his
mullet ... Don Juan DeSanto teamed up with SONNY T. to defeat NWA
Wildside's BLACKOUT ... RASTAMAN defeated AXIS in a battle of IPW
Heavyweight Contenders, but was attacked after the match by THE CUBAN
ASSASSIN ... KAMIKAZE KID and ASHE CORVAN defeated CONCESSION BOY and
'Superfan' MARK ZOUT in a high-flying tag team matchup, due to the
interference of LUCIANO 'The Gauntlet' BONETTI ... RICK MICHAELS (with
his Bad Attitude partner, David Young) defeated 'Vivacious' VITO DENUCCI (with his partner 'Casanova' CHRIS NELSON).

    Border City Wrestling results:
    Sunday, October 14, 2001, 3:00 p.m.
The Army, Navy & Air Force Club in Barrie, Ontario, Canada

The SYNDICATE (BCW Commissioner Scott D'Amore, Arrogant Otis Apollo & Johnny Swinger) came out to the ring. D'Amore explained that he would be unable to wrestle that day as he was "injured," and with Apollo already having a scheduled match, said Swinger had no partner for his big #1 contender tag team match later on. Swinger encouraged the crowd to give D'Amore a hand for just being there, and this brought out Swinger's old partner, Simon Diamond. Swinger did his best to appeal to Simon to get the old team back together, but it looked like Simon would have none of it. Just when it seemed the two would come to blows, Swinger & Simon embraced, and Simon revealed a Syndicate shirt. He mocked the fans for being so gullible, and
would be Swinger's partner for the match later on.

"DANGER BOY" DEREK WYLDE VS. RUFFY SILVERSTEIN -- Silverstein spent most of the match berating members of the crowd. It may have been because of this distraction that his sunset flip backfired, and Wylde was able to score the pinfall.

DYSON PRYCE VS. "BIG" CHUCK WAGON -- In a battle of the behemoths, Pryce, at 300 lbs., gave up nearly 100 lbs. to Big Chuck. Chuck hit a splash on Pryce that shook the entire building, but when he went for a second splash later on, Dyson was able to avoid it, and roll up the big man for the win.

"IRISH" BOBBY CLANCY & PAUL ROBILLARD VS. PETEY WILLIAMS/CHAD LOGAN -- This was a fast-paced match, where Clancy (the veteran of the match) & Robillard had Williams & Logan on the ropes more than a few times. The end came with Clancy & Robillard pinning Logan & Williams with double sunset flips (referee kicked Williams back).

EL TORNADO VS. NOVA -- The crowd was divided, with half cheering on Nova, and half behind Tornado. Lots of back-and-forth action between the two men, but when Nova executed a devastating finishing maneuver that you would have to see to believe, it was all over for Tornado.

    - INTERMISSION -

MIKE LEGACY VS. THE HACKER -- Pre-match, Legacy, who turned heel last
Wednesday in Oldcastle for the first time in 7 years, cut a promo calling himself the "Halo of Perfection." He ran down his opponent, saying Hacker is 150 lbs. soaking wet. He would eat his words later, as Hacker dazzled his opponent with aerial maneuvers, and pulled out the win after placing his keyboard on Legacy, and hitting a legdrop from the top rope.

"ARROGANT" OTIS APOLLO VS. "THE REAL DEAL" MAGNUS -- Magnus is a true giant, and just when it looked like the end was near for Apollo, D'Amore stormed the ring. He attempted to beat on Magnus and lay him out with a chair, but Magnus stood toe-to-toe with him instead. Apollo capitalized on the distraction, hitting a low-blow and rolling up his gigantic opponent.

CHRIS VALENTINO VS. AL RALPHZ -- This was only Ralphz's second match in BCW. Valentino's experience prevailed, and he picked up the win with a rollup.

GEZA "BIGG DAWG" KALMAN, JR. VS. "SHOWTIME" ERIC YOUNG -- Clash of two very different styles here, as Geza is a huge brawler, and Young prefers the high-flying route. It was Geza's power that would come out on top, as he flattened Young with his "Dawg Pound" (a reverse Razor's Edge) for the win.

SIMON DIAMOND & JOHNNY SWINGER VS. TYSON DUX & JACK DAMAGE -- #1 CONTENDER MATCH FOR THE BCW TAG TEAM TITLES -- Midway through the match, Swinger & Simon rolled out of the ring. Simon grabbed a mic and challenged Dux & Damage to a posedown. Both teams posed to their music. Simon & Swinger then challenged Dux & Damage to a dance-off. After Swinger's tremendous attempt at a spinarooni, Dux & Damage had their moment to shine. However, Simon & Swinger ambushed the two, and the match continued on. Swinger left the ring and grabbed a cookie sheet from the backstage area. He came back and hit Damage with the sheet, but was knocked off the apron by Dux. Simon held Dux while Swinger recovered, and encouraged Swinger to nail him with
the cookie sheet. Unfortunately for Swinger, Dux ducked, and he nailed his partner instead. Simon recovered, and he and Swinger were able to execute the Problem Solver later on. Finally, Dux & Damage were able to pick up the win with their neckbreaker/sideslam combination, and become the #1 contenders for the BCW tag team titles. After the match, Swinger & Simon argued, with Simon yelling at Swinger for hitting him with the cookie sheet earlier on. They embraced, but Simon then laid out Swinger, and yelled, "NOW WE'RE EVEN." To close off the show, Simon danced with Dux & Damage.

    QUICK RESULTS:

    XWC Results - October 12, 2001
    Eastdale Secondary School
    Welland, Ontario

The XWC's latest event kicked off with an in-ring promo featuring Angel, who returned to the XWC after an almost six month hiatus. Angel immediately informed the crowd that she was "single" again, and indicated that she is on the hunt for some new talent. The vivacious blonde received a tremendous response to mark her XWC return.

    Scott Chaze vs. Flexx Falcone
Scott Chaze entered the ring first and crossed paths with Angel as she left the ringside area. The two acknowledged each other, as they previously had a partnership outside the XWC before recently splitting amicably. This was a match of two XWC newcomers with Chaze, a former tag team wrestler, and Flexx Falcone, who is known from the Shockwave Wrestling promotion. These two were out to impress XWC management, and did a great job their first time out. In the end, Chaze scored the victory in a match that could have conceivably gone either way.

    Handicap Match
Ruffy Silverstein vs. The Sleeze Patrol
Silverstein, another XWC newcomer, is a graduate of the Hart family
wrestling school in Calgary and can be seen regularly with Border City Wrestling. His opponents on this night were the XWC's resident clowns, TJ Harley and Romeo Adams, collectively known as The Sleeze Patrol. Before the action got under way, TJ Harley took to the mic and suggested that Ruffy simply lay down for the team rather than suffer a beating. When Silverstein refused, Harley's suggestion turned into more of a frantic plea, but Silverstein still refused. So Harley and Romeo attempted to show off their "impressive" physiques and respective intimidation factors, but Ruffy was still impervious to it all. Harley then warned Silverstein that he'd be sorry, only to suddenly turn to Romeo and say, "GO GET 'EM, ROMEO!!!!" to the dismay of Romeo Adams. Silverstein then responded by sending them both
to the floor. Upon their re-entry The Sleeze Patrol took to a game of
"Paper, Rock, Scissors", with a losing TJ Harley forced to start things off with Ruffy Silverstein. As expected, Silverstein dominated. The Sleeze Patrol did have their moments of offense, and even got Silverstein into a compromising position in the later stages. But as Harley went up top in preparation for a high impact move, Romeo Adams missed a clothesline attempt on Silverstein, ran into the ropes, and inadvertently crotched Harley on the top. Silverstein then knocked Adams out of the ring, applied his submission finisher to Harley and got the victory. Post-match, Harley
and Adams argued about their loss and engaged in a "Three Stooges"-like confrontation complete with eye poking and nose tweaking.

Incidentally during this handicap match, Angel came out and looked to be scouting the talent in the ring.

    Boogie Rules Match
    Ox Dostal vs. Billy Boogie
The announcement by ring announcer Matt Young about this match brought a round of applause from the Welland faithful, who have become quite aware of Billy Boogie and his infamous style of match. Ox Dostal, another XWC newcomer, came out to his bagpipe music decked out in his signature kilt and sporting trash can lids to the delight of the audience, audibly ready for some hardcore action. It was the arrival of Billy Boogie however who really got the crowd on its feet, as he had in his possession his XWC trademark, a table. This was a see-saw battle between two big men, and it became clear in the closing moments that Dostal would not be easy to defeat. After missing his swanton finisher (an impressive move for a 6'7"
competitor), Dostal looked to be in trouble as Boogie placed him on the table in preparation for the TTD. Boogie connected but surprisingly, Dostal kicked out. Boogie then nailed Dostal with a chair until he dropped again, but again the big Ox kicked out before three. Finally, Boogie turned to the use of a garbage can, dropped an elbow off the top through the can on Dostal, and managed to keep him down for the three to win the match.

    Larry Destiny vs. Johnny Swinger
Former XWC World Champion Larry Destiny returned to XWC action to take on Swinger, who appeared at the last XWC event in Welland (against "Showtime" Eric Young). This match was everything that it was expected to be, except for one added element... the interference of Simon Diamond. Simon ran out late in the match to assist his former ECW tag partner Swinger, and enabled Swinger to spoil Destiny's XWC return by helping his partner to victory. Appearing at ringside once again for this match was Angel, who again looked to be scouting the wrestlers in the ring.

Next out was Welland's own, not to mention the XWC Cruiserweight Champion, The Hacker, along with XWC Commissioner Dane Jarris. The Hacker degraded Eastdale and claimed that it was the institution that molded the future welfare recipients of the area. Jarris then took the mic and belittled the recent achievement of Barry Bonds, who broke the baseball home run record with 73 this year. Jarris claimed that he'd played ball with his friend Carlos Delgado at the Skydome in Toronto last weekend, and that he'd hit several balls out of the park without even trying. Jarris claimed that as easy as that was, it'll be even easier for The Hacker to level "Danger Boy" Derek Wylde with a keyboard en route to victory later in the night. Suddenly, Wylde appeared at the scene with a keyboard in hand. He wound up
looking to hit Jarris, but Jarris moved and it was The Hacker who took the keyboard shot as the crowd roared. Wylde then took the microphone, stood over the fallen Hacker, looked at Jarris and said, "You're right, that WAS easy!"

    XWC World Tag Team Titles
    Steel Justice vs. Primadonis
The first ever XWC Tag Team Champions would be determined in this match. Steel Justice came out first, but immediately Magnus looked to have other things on his mind. He took the mic and addressed Welland wrestling legend Chuck Simpson, who was sitting front row ringside as a guest of the XWC on this night. Magnus mentioned his last appearance in Welland at Simpson's Welland Fair event last month, and said that he'd heard that Simpson was looking to book a rematch in a steel cage. Magnus invited Simpson to enter the ring right then and there, but The Notorious TID cut Magnus off and reminded him that they were there to win the XWC Tag Team Titles. TID also reminded Magnus that it had been Magnus who signed the team up for the XWC's tournament to begin with, and so TID planned to see it through to the
end. Magnus nodded in agreement, and the match was on. However, it would turn out that Magnus was unable to wipe Simpson's presence completely from his mind. The match turned into a free-for-all in the later stages, with Magnus and Marco Malaquias taking things to the floor while TID and Jason Breeze went at it in the ring. When Magnus got close enough to where Simpson was sitting, Magnus caught Simpson with a sucker punch. Magnus then re-entered the ring after Malaquias, but Simpson wasn't about to let the attack slide. With the referee reprimanding TID for ignoring his count and brawling with Breeze, Magnus went for a shoulder block to Marco, but Simpson grabbed his leg from the floor. Magnus then pulled Simpson onto the ring apron, but Simpson guillotined Magnus over the top. TID didn't take too kindly to that interference, and went after Simpson on the floor. With Magnus stunned, Breeze attempted to roll him up but was unable to get the big man over. Marco then assisted Breeze, and a hook of the tights later, Primadonis had scored the pin to capture the XWC Tag Team Titles. Post-match, Magnus and Simpson brawled to the back as Primadonis celebrated.

Once again, Angel took it upon herself to come to ringside during this tag match to scout both teams.

    XWC World Title
Simon Diamond vs. "Showtime" Eric Young
As if the experience and cunning of Simon Diamond wasn't enough to
overcome, Young also had to deal with Johnny Swinger, who came out with Simon for this match. This was a solid wrestling bout between two gifted athletes. "Showtime" did a tremendous job of overcoming Swinger's presence at ringside, but late in the match Marco Malaquias appeared and distracted the referee. This allowed Swinger to interfere with he and Simon hitting their tag team finisher, but to their dismay Young kicked out. Then, Larry Destiny came out of nowhere to avenge his earlier loss by going after Swinger and Simon. Destiny's presence became a major distraction to Simon, who seized the opportunity to defeat Simon and successfully retain his championship.

XWC World Cruiserweight Title - Keyboard Match
The Hacker vs. "Danger Boy" Derek Wylde
It had the potential of being a definite "Match of the Year" on the
Canadian independent circuit, and it didn't disappoint. Arguably the
greatest match in XWC history, The Hacker and Derek Wylde gave it their all in the first ever Keyboard Match. Upon his entrance, The Hacker acknowledged an unknown young woman in the front row decked out in Hacker-like attire. She would later come into play during this match, grabbing a keyboard away from Derek Wylde before he could use it on The Hacker at ringside. The XWC has yet to uncover her identity.

The Hacker brought with him at least two dozen keyboards, and scattered them in and around the ring. And they would definitely come into play. The first to take the keyboard shot was Wylde, but to the shock of The Hacker, Wylde kicked out before the three count. That seemed to infuriate The Hacker, whose mean streak escalated as a direct result of Wylde's refusal to be beaten. The action spilled to the floor and over to the time keeper's table, where The Hacker nailed ring announcer Matt Young with a keyboard. The timekeeper himself then got up to get out of harm's way, but The Hacker
clobbered him with a keyboard as well. Back in the ring, referee Robb Myers tried to restore order, but The Hacker refused his authority and leveled him with yet another keyboard shot. Wylde remained level-headed however and after swinging the momentum back to his favour, he shattered a keyboard across The Hacker's head and made the cover. But Myers was down from The Hacker's attack moments earlier. Suddenly, Dane Jarris ran in, but Wylde thwarted his attempted interference. The Hacker capitalized on Jarris' interference however and seized control of the match. Then, in one of the most brutal moments ever, both Jarris and The Hacker grabbed a keyboard. They waited for Wylde to get to his feet, and then swung their respective boards, connecting to both sides of Wylde's head simultaneously. Wylde fell
to the canvas, The Hacker covered him, and referee Myers recovered enough to register the three count. Winner and still XWC Cruiserweight Champion, The Hacker!

    Border City Wrestling results:
    Wednesday, October 10, 2001, 7:30 p.m.
The Ciociaro Club in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada
    Attendance of 653:

To kick off the night, The SYNDICATE (BCW Commissioner SCOTT D'AMORE, JOHNNY SWINGER, ARROGANT OTIS APOLLO, and CYRUS) came out to the ring. Cyrus began, informing the fans in attendance that as a result of the fact that, during his first night in BCW, he beat Lance Storm (Scott D'Amore defeated Storm when Cyrus turned on him and joined the Syndicate in June of this year), and beat Tommy Dreamer & Nova inside of one minute (Cyrus pinned both men during the 8-man elimination match at Mikey Whipwreck's Retirement Bash in August), and put Sabu through a table so that D'Amore could pin him (also 8-man elimination match in August), he is the number one man in the Syndicate, and the Ric Flair of BCW. Cyrus said he will not be wrestling Terry Taylor tonight, as he's just too good for him. D'Amore took offense
to this, and gave Cyrus credit for his accomplishments, said he does have some similarities to Flair, but told him this isn't Winnipeg (Cyrus's hometown), and said he can't book his own matches. D'Amore continued, saying here in Windsor, he is in charge, and said Cyrus will wrestle Taylor tonight. As Cyrus and D'Amore continued their argument, Swinger took over, and said they have bigger problems, because he doesn't have an opponent for the night (Swinger was to face Stevie Ray, who failed to make it to the show due to border problems). Cyrus and D'Amore eventually left the ring arguing, as Swinger and Apollo stood wondering who Swinger's opponent would
be. To the shock of the crowd, Swinger's former ECW tag team partner, Simon Diamond, came out. Simon said, as per usual, he has a problem. He said he's tried to contact Swinger several times for ten months, and Swinger hasn't bothered to respond. Swinger, fearing the worst, tried to appeal to Simon to "get the old team back together." Simon thought for a moment, and then told Swinger that he's finally making some sense. He suggested that they go to the back to talk, but then struck Swinger, and the match was on.

SIMON DIAMOND VS. JOHNNY SWINGER (w/OTIS APOLLO) -- Apollo picked up a chair, with the intention of knocking Simon out cold, but Simon avoided it and Swinger was driven into the chair instead. Simon schoolboyed him for the win. After the match, Apollo got in to check on his fallen teammate. Swinger shrugged him off, and dissension within the Syndicate persisted.

DYSON PRYCE VS. YUKON BRAXTON -- With Pryce at 300 lbs. and Yukon at almost seven feet tall, this match was a hard-hitting clash between two giants. Pryce came out on top following a powerslam.

CHRIS VALENTINO & BRET NIKITA VS. CHRIS CHURCH & MIKE LEGACY -- Nikita, who is continuing to develop an amazing fanbase as a result of his impressive high-flying tactics, stole the match with some incredible aerial maneuvers against the former tag team champions. In the closing moments, Church hit a spear on Nikita while Valentino had Legacy down in the corner. Church grabbed Valentino and Legacy grabbed a chair, telling Church to let him hit Valentino. Instead, Legacy clobbered Church with the chair, and watched as Nikita crawled on top of his now-former partner for the pin. For the first time in 7 years, Legacy, who was now brutally bloody as a result of being
busted open during the match, had turned heel.

LARRY DESTINY VS. GEZA KALMAN, JR. -- Kalman gave Destiny a run for his money, but with the fans solidly behind him, Destiny was able to pick up a hard-fought victory with a reverse Pedigree.

TERRY TAYLOR VS. CYRUS -- Cyrus at first refused to even get in the ring with Taylor. Taylor went so far as to lay down in the middle of the ring, and even then, Cyrus seemed hesitant. During the course of the match, it appeared that Taylor had badly injured his knee. Cyrus continued to beat on him, despite the pleas of Taylor, and the referee. The ref finally stopped the match. Cyrus took advantage of the situation, and locked on the Figure Four to a helpless Taylor. Otis Apollo came out to the ring, and pulled up a chair to watch and laugh at Taylor's predicament. Security attempted to intervene, but Apollo floored them. The BCW tag team champions, Tyson Dux &
Jack Damage, came down to help Taylor. They took out Apollo, and then managed to pull Cyrus off. While Dux & Damage were yelling at Cyrus in the corner, Taylor shockingly climbed to his feet, and attacked the champions. Commissioner Scott D'Amore returned to the ring, where Cyrus & Taylor told him to nail Dux with a chair while they held him. D'Amore refused, and ended up chasing Cyrus & Taylor from the ring with the chair. Fans chanted "YOU SOLD OUT" at Taylor as he and Cyrus walked up the aisle. D'Amore got on the mic and asked Taylor & Cyrus what the hell they think they're doing.
He was about to suspend them, but on second thought, fired them, and it looked as though D'Amore was back to the Scott D'Amore that the fans knew and loved. However, Dux & Damage asked that Cyrus & Taylor be reinstated so that they could kick their asses tonight. Taylor told them they have nothing he and Cyrus want. They went through the curtain to the back, but D'Amore coaxed them back out, telling them to act like men, and wondering where their pride was. He asked the fans if they wanted to see it, and with the approval of Dux & Damage, said the tag team titles would indeed be on the line. D'Amore then danced with Dux & Damage before heading to the back.

THE HACKER VS. CHRIS SABIN -- This was an unbelievable battle between two future aerialistic superstars. Hacker delivered an incredible moonsault to the outside of the ring, onto Sabin. Sabin, a graduate of the Can-Am Wrestling School, pulled out the win with an O'Connor roll-up with a bridge.
The crowd gave both men a steady round of applause, and a chant of "THAT WAS FIVE STARS" broke out.

    -INTERMISSION-

RUFFY SILVERSTEIN VS. SCOTTY SABRE -- Pre-match, Silverstein cut a vicious promo in the ring, running down the people of Windsor. He rolled up Sabre with a handful of tights for the cheap victory.

GUTTER VS. ARROGANT OTIS APOLLO -- Gutter was accompanied by his vivacious slab of drainpipe, "Cindy," and as per usual, did whatever "the voices" told him to. He picked up yet another big win with his patented "Diamond Gutter."

CHAD COLLYER VS. IRISH BOBBY CLANCY -- Clancy was on fire, as he has been for the past few months. At one point, it looked like Collyer had him beat, but Clancy retaliated and made a huge comeback. Unfortunately for Clancy, Collyer hit a DDT variation out of nowhere, and handed him the tough loss.

TERRY TAYLOR & CYRUS VS. TYSON DUX & JACK DAMAGE FOR THE BCW TAG TEAM TITLES
-- During the closing moments of the match, referee Jeffrey Scott was
knocked out. The match continued on, and Dux & Damage hit their
neckbreaker/sideslam finisher on Taylor. Dux went for the cover, and
D'Amore ran out to make the count. Cyrus pulled Dux out of the ring on 2 and whipped him into the ringpost. While D'Amore was checking on Dux, Cyrus came back in with a chair. He went to level Damage, who was standing over Taylor, but D'Amore took the chair away. D'Amore was about to hit Cyrus, but instead, suddenly turned and blasted Damage. Cyrus rolled Taylor on top of Damage while D'Amore dragged the referee over to make the count. With that, D'Amore took off his BCW shirt to display a Syndicate shirt, and it was apparent that his gang had swerved everyone once again, and added the tag team titles to their list of accomplishments.

Mid Continental Wrestling... Oct 13,2001 Tennessee State Fairgrounds. J.C. Ice defeated Bart Sawyer. This match was all over the building. Ice juiced hardway style. Kevin White beat USWA legend "Brickhouse Brown" This was a heck of a match with both men displaying plenty of "Oldschool" wrestling. White was trained by another legend "Superstar Bill Dundee" Brickhouse has Big Cat's Ernie Ladd's brother with him and both Ladd and Brickhouse doubleteamed White until Cory Williams came to the rescue, while Ladd was outside argueing with the ref, Williams DDT Brickhouse and rolled White on top for the pin. White is probably one of the best new prospects to come along in a while.
Tennessee Cowboy "James Storm beat Kareem of the Regulators. Styling Shane Eden beat Barry Houston. This was a very good match, Eden probably slowed the match down a lot with his inexperience. Houston is another young guy, who has really progressed as of late. He knows his way around the ring. Kamikaze Ken beat Kujo in the opening match. Cory Williams beat Big Dollar(James Ladd)
