Update on Helen Hart, Goldberg lashes out at WWF, More on Nash, more

    - Yesterday afternoon, Helen Hart was rushed to Calgary's Foothills Hospital after collapsing at her home. It is believed that the collapse was due to complications of her diabetes. Her blood pressure was high and there is suspicion that she may have suffered a stroke. Stampede Wrestling has cancelled their show tonight in Calgary in light of the turn of events.

    - Bill Goldberg has posted a new commentary at his website, GoldbergBook.com. In the commentary, Goldberg talks about his trip to the site of the World Trade Centers in New York and lashes out at the WWF. Goldberg had the following to say:

"After inquiring about whether or not any WWF wrestlers had been to New York to offer support for the policemen and firefighters, it’s amazing that, even though the WWF is basically based in New York City (Stamford, Conn.), none had been by there. Or at least to the places we had been, and with the people we saw and spoke with. That’s disgusting. People ask me why I’m not working for the WWF. Well, I think that explains it."

    - The story we reported earlier about Kevin Nash appearing at the October 6th CWA event is false.

Mike Koehler sent in the following:

In the November 2001 issue of Spin Magazine (Incubus is on the cover), there is an excellent article called "Mat Scratch Fever." It is about wrestling groupies, in particular 2 of them who frequent the ECW Arena (listed as the Viking Hall). Several wrestlers were mentioned in the article, however Danny Doring and the Dudley Boys are mentioned as using the "services" of the 2 women who the article is about. The article takes place sometime after the Dudleys are in the WWF and before Lita shows up, because they mention Miss Congeniality as being the Danaconda's valet.

This is a very interesting article, which doesn't really paint the Dudleys as choir boys, if you get my drift. The article is on pages 100-106, and it's the November 2001 issue of Spin.
