Kurt Angle was on the Johnny Dare and Murphey Morning Show here in Kansas City on 98.9 the Rock this morning. They have a guest on the show who's a stand up comic named Larry the Cable Guy, who pops in with questions and remarks at times.

Johnny introduces Kurt with Medal playing. Welcomes Kurt to the show and Larry asks Kurt where Kurt is from and Kurt answers that he's from Pittsburg. Larry is talking about playing softball with BA Billy Gunn and it seemed like Kurt wasn't sure how to take Larry.

Johnny tells a story about Larry getting a boner (no I'm not kidding!) and Angle just laughs. They plug the Raw is War in October in Kansas City. They talk a little about wrestling and the Alliance angle. Kurt talks about turning heel to face and Johnny is kinda lacking in the knowledge of the last three months, calling Kurt a heel. Tard, one of the DJs and a total wrestling mark, gets on Johnny's back about it. They ask who he runs with and Kurt answers that he's buddys with Chris Jericho and Edge and Christian.

They rip on Jericho's band Fozzy, with Kurt kinda sticking up for Jericho. All the time, Larry is making cracks and comments, with Kurt just laughing. They plug Kurt's book a little and talk about the wrestlers actually writing the books themselves. They talk about the Olympics and then the jump with WWF and the wrestling life with all the traveling and the bumping around. Johnny asks about Chyna and he rips on Chyna a little. They plug Raw is War once more and Kurt hangs up with Medal playing.
