    - The following matches are rumored for tonight's Smackdown tapings:

    > The Rock & Kurt Angle vs. The Dudley Boyz - WWF Tag Team titles
    > Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam - WWF Hardcore title
    > Bradshaw vs. Christian - WWF Intercontinental title
    > Ivory vs. Molly Holly

    - Tommy Dreamer will be hosting WWF Sunday Night Heat this Sunday at WWF New York.

    - WWF Raw is War will soon be simply called WWF Raw.

    - It is now confirmed that the December WWF pay-per-view will not be called Armageddon.

    - The reason the October 7th WWF house show in Fairfax, Virginia was cancelled is due to a poor advance for ticket sales. Instead, the WWF will run the card in Valparaiso, Indiana with tickets going on sale this Saturday. This means tickets will only go on sale eight days before the show.

    - Jimmy Hart and Brian Knobs are telling talent that they will be running television tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida for a new promotion. This is indeed the remnants of the proposed Hulk Hogan promotion. Kevin Sullivan will be involved with booking and the company is very high on Super Crazy.

    - KroniK is already trying to get on Vince Russo's WWA Australian tour.

    - We may see Edge take on Christian for the Intercontinental title at No Mercy in a ladder match. Take this only as a rumor for now though.

    - Matt Hardy may soon join the Alliance to cause the breakup of the Hardy Boyz. Matt, of course, would feud with his brother Jeff. Again, take this only as a rumor.

Lars P. Rupert sent in the following:

    The opening match was:
Steve Bradley vs. Russ McCullough. Steve had a nice front blockbuster move and won with a back rollup.
    Winner: Steve Bradley

There was also a Team Xtream video showcasing Jeff Hardy and his motocross skills between the Hugh Morrus vs. Billy Gunn and Mike Awesome vs. Albert match.

The crowd loved DDP's speech. Other than the Rock's ramble, it had more laughs than anything else... even more than the Hurricane's Hurrisense.

After the show... Nothing happened. The Rock celebrated, RVD walked up the ramp. Lilian said goodbye. End of show.

    Biggest Pops:
    1. Rock
    2. Angle
    3. RVD
    4. UT/Kane
    5. Jericho

    Biggest Heat:
    1. Booker T
    2. Christian
    3. Hurricane
    4. DDP
    5. Steph

Overall, it was a very good show, one of the best RAWs I've been to. The RVD vs. Rock match had the crowd on their feet from the start. At times, RVD chants were as loud and louder than Rock chants, but make no mistake, Rock chants grew to be deafning at times. They did not announce a return date to Columbus.
