Thanks to Corvin Carlton for sending this in: In Montgomery Alabama on Knology Cable, it turned out that just before the first match and after the opening of Unforgiven, we got to view the Pay Per View for free. They use In Demand for the Pay Per View provider. It might have been an error with Knology, due to the fact that the Pay Per View channel is still going on and we are still recieving free pay per view (We got to see the "Encore" after Unforgiven was done too). (Lita aka Miss Congeniality) DANNY DORING JOINS THE SHOW LIVE - Has he ever been offered a spot in the WWF? No, but he did have a dark match a couple months ago, tagging with Roadkill. He was happy with the effort put in, but if there was one negative it is they did too much. He thinks if there weren't so many guys on the roster, he might be in. - Barry asks what it was like to work for a ECW only to watch it crumble to the ground? Danny says it was hard to watch a company grow so much and win titles there to not be running shows anymore. He didn't know where to go from there because he never did indies since he started at the ECW school. In essence, he wishes it was still going but he has to face reality. - Barry talk about paying your dues ... Danny set up the ring for three years before he was offered a contract in ECW. He says everyone on that roster had a different personality but they were a family. - His thoughts on former ECW stars such as Tommy Dreamer being in the WWF? Danny says Tommy was "the man" in ECW. As far as everyone else, of course he is going to be partial towards Tazz because he was his trainer. He still talks to Tommy and Spike a lot. Danny says Tommy broke his back in many ways for ECW and could have really benefited with a year off. - He is watching the show as a fan and cheers for all his friends. He wants to see them all get paid and have the chance to shine. - What does he feel Paul E. did to make him a strong character in ECW? The last 6-8 months Danny felt he came along in his backstage promos which Paul helped him with. They kept getting caught up in feuds that were going nowhere. But everything started to click with the promos and his and Roadkill's feud with FBI. - He had a certain chemistry with FBI. Danny says he hit Tony Mamaluke with a superkick once, and his face hit the guardrail. He couldn't believe the punishment he took. - Shannon brings up working a show with Roadkill once, who poured water on his head. Is Roadkill a ribber? Danny says he is a "love or hate guy" and always manages to get heat. Him and Roadkill were together all the time but were opposites. - What's next for Danny Doring? He has been working a lot for MECW, tagging with Chris Chetti. They canceled the September shows due to the tragedy, but will resume the schedule. He's still expecting a phone call about that. He also works singles for the NWA in New Jersey and Midwest Championship Wrestling in Chicago against Scoot Andrews. - [ The Name Game ] - Elektra: "Million Dollar Body" ... They will go into the archives to familiarize the fans with the product for the first several weeks. - How is New Breed Wrestling different from the WWF? They are targeting to a younger audience and families so their TV timeslot on Sundays at 6am works well. - When will the next live event be? They stopped to pick up an important guy who was dressed in Arab gear, who had armed bodyguards with him. It was a small plane with only 30 or 40 wrestlers on it. Barry says something could have happened. Before he went out to wrestle, he was told to turn his trunks inside out because it had the star of David on it. "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS DONOVAN MORGAN?" with Donovan Morgan - Donovan loves the opening bit, ala "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" He says this segment is going to be lighthearted, but do to what's going on it is going to be more on a serious note. - He has gotten e-mail from people in the wrestling world who he thought he never would have. He says it's good everyone is pulling together. He got a great e-mail originally by Bill Watts forwarded to him who talked about our relationship as a whole with God. - Something like this was a slap in the face and showed us what we really have to focus on. - Barry talks about that trip to Kuwait once again and how he has his priorities in order.
