Credible pulls Kash off the turnbuckles powerbomb style for a two count. Credible chokes Kash on the ropes. Powerslam by Credible for a two count. Kash falls head first between Credible's legs. Jumping ddt by Kash for a two count. Kash dances off the ropes with a huricanrana for a two count. Kash misses a top rope moonsault. Credible hits Kash with a superkick for the pin.

Steve Bradley vs Scott Vick
Swinging neckbreaker by Bradley. Suplex by Bradley for a two count. Bradley with a missile dropkick for a two count. Bradley misses a corner splash. DDT by Vick. Springboard back elbow by Vick. Vick with a side slam for a two count. Bradley with the "roll the dice" on Vick for the pin.

Huricanrana by Crash. Crash dropkicks Awesome in the back of the leg. Crash wraps Awesome's leg around the ring post. Awesome catches Crash coming off the top and throws him out of the ring. Awesome follows out and sends Crash into the ring steps. Back in the ring Awesome shoots back in over the top with a splash for a two count. Version of a clutch by Awesome. Clothesline by Awesome for a two count. Awesome chokes Crash on the ropes. Awesome with a double underhook suplex for a two count. Crash with a missile dropkick for a two count. Awesome with a belly to back suplex. Awesome counters Crash's bulldog with a powerbomb for the pin.

Tommy Dreamer vs Billy Gunn
Match starts off with Dreamer attacking Gunn from behind. Dreamer chokes Gunn down in the corner. Gunn throws Dreamer off the ring apron onto the security wall. Back in the ring Gunn punches Dreamer in the corner. Hard irish whip by Gunn. Jackhammer by Gunn for a two count. Gunn comes off the top with a fist to the head. Dreamer clips Gunn's knees. Dreamer wraps Gunn's knee around the ring post two times. Dreamer tries to pulls Gunn's leg out of socket. Powerbomb by Dreamer followed up by a figure four. Dreamer uses the ropes for leverege. Gunn reverses the figure four. Dreamer field goal kicks Gunn's knee in the corner. Dreamer tries it a third time and misses. Gunn capitalizes with the fameasser for the pin.

Scotty Too Hotty vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Scotty gets a clap started before the match. Shoulder block by Scotty. Scotty with a hip toss slam followed up by an arm drag. Tilt a whirl backbreaker by Chavo. Chavo with an abdominal stretch. Chavo with a backbreaker for a two count. Another backbreaker by Chavo for a two count. Neckbreaker by Scotty. High backbody drop by Scotty. Chavo counters the bulldog with a clothesline for a two count. Scotty counters a powerbomb with a bulldog followed up by the worm. Scotty then comes off the top and catches Chavo with a ddt for the pin.

Referees and ring crew changes the ropes and apron to Smackdown blue.

Jim Ross comes to the ring and gets on the mic. He says it's great to be back in Memphis. Ross talks about the Attack on America a little bit. A loud USA chant starts up. Ross says they are getting on with their lives and not letting this act of terrorism get them down. They are going to get back to business as usual. Ross encourages everyone to cheer or boo who they want to. Ross says they are there to have a good time. Ross thanks the crowd and leaves.

Fink plugs the merchandise. Fink then directs everyone's attention to the ivaltron to watch the main event of raw in it's entirety.

Michael Cole and Tazz come down to the announce table for Smackdown.

***SMACKDOWN***

Test, Rhyno, and Booker T vs APA and The Rock is flashed across the screen for tonight.

Steve Austin comes to the ring. I will not be disrespected by 15,000 jackasses. This belt is mine, it's all mine. This Sunday is Unforgiven and it is a damn good name for the PPV event because there is one sorry ass punk that I will never forgive and his name is Kurt Angle. You have to put yourself in my shoes, which you could never do because I am the greatest superstar. The past few weeks Angle had made my life hell. He has humilated and emberassed me. I will not put up with thatcrap tonight. Angle threatened to throw me off a bridge and he made me beg and cry. Last Monday he pinned my shoulders to the mat, and that's something that will never happen again. Thank you very much. What? Kurt, this Sunday right there in your home town I will make an example out of you. What? This belt was designed to rest on the shoulder of Steve Austin. What? So what's gonna happen Kurt is this Sunday when your family buys their tickets to sit on the first row I will whip your ass in this ring. And your brothers will beg for me to stop beating your ass. But I'm not gonna wait till Sunday to address my problems. If I have a problem I look that person in the eyes to settle that problem. What? I got one person to call out to this ring. Torri Wilson, get your ragged carcas out here. I know you are back there. Get out here to my ring. Everyone is scared of me. I can understand that. Torrie Wilson! get out here.

Torrie Wilson comes to the ring. Look at ya. Are you proud of your self? What kind of woman are you Torrie? You are pathetic. Look at ya. You don't deserve to be in the same ring as me. You don't deserve to breathe the same air as me. Aren't you supposed to be in the Alliance? Then why are you hanging out with Tajiri and why did you help him become the US champion? Look at the way you dress. is that supposed to be sexy? I say no. I say it's trash. I say you are trash. Does my spitting on you bother you? read my lips Tottie - you make me sick. You want me to stop? It would be nice if I did wouldn't it? Beg me to stop. I can't stand it when a person begs. Cry for me to stop. I can't stand to see someone cry, it makes me sick.

Austin gets in Torrie's face and mocks her crying. Stand in the center. Come here! How stupid are you? I'm gonna give you something you will never forget. Tajiri rushes the ring but Austin takes quick care and throws him out. Austin follows out and sends Tajiri into the ring post. Austin goes back in the ring to talk to Torrie. You tried to set me up didn't you? You wanted your little boyfriend to come down here and save you? He's gonna stop me? Stand up wench!

Kurt Angle comes to the ring and Austin meets him out on the floor at ringside. Both men trade blows and Angle gets the upperhand. Tazz comes out of the announce table and puts the tazzmission on Angle. Angle counters with the angle slam on the floor. Austin sends Angle into the ring post. Austin hits Angle with a chair in the back. Austin kicks Angle in the ribs and hits him with the chair some more. Austin lifts up the mat from the concrete. Austin piledrives Angle on the concrete...twice. Jim Ross, Regal, Slaughter, and other WWF officials come down and help Angle. Ross is heard saying "he can't move his hands".

Austin stares on as medics lift Angle onto a stretcher. Angle says he can not move his arms. Ross instructs the medics to be carefull with him.

Back from commercial and medics are still attending to Angle. They put him on the stretcher and roll him to the back. Angle gets a standing ovation. As they are rolling him through the back the Hardyz and Lita help put Angle in the ambulance.

Back from commercial Tazz is gone from the announce table and Ross has taken his place.

Hurricane and Lance Storm w/ Ivory vs Big Show and Spike Dudley w/ Molly Holly
Spike with a neckbreaker on Hurricane. Storm and Hurricane double team Spike. Spike with a huricanrana on Storm. Hurricane tries to slam Show to no avail. Storm knocks Molly and Ivory off the ring apron by accident. Hurricane accidently superkicks Storm. Helms hits Spike with his finisher for the pin. After the match Ivory and Molly get into a catfight. Dudleyz hit the ring and take out Spike. Dudleyz double suplex Big Show through a table.
Winners: Hurricane and Lance Storm

Backstage, Austin talks to the Alliance. Austin wants to make sure they are clear on the direction the Alliance is taking. What are you guys all sad about? You think I piledrived Angle for my own good? I saw what Angle was gonna do the Alliance. He was a threat to your careers. I'm trying to protect you guys. That man tries to threaten us I will stand up and fight for everyone here. I'm proud of myself for what I did. What? I believe in the Alliance. Dreamer mentions Tajiri. Austin says he stuck his nose in his business and he will pay tonight. The Alliance finally gets behind Austin. Austin is done with his speech and leaves.

Kronik w/ Steven Richards vs Kaientai
Richards gets on the mic. No one has ever manhandled Undertaker and Kane but Kronik did last Monday night on Raw. If you thought that was something, that will pale in comparison to what Kronik will do this Sunday at Unforgiven. You are looking at the next WCW tag team champions. Tonight on Smackdown we will offer a small preview to Undertaker and Kane of things to come. Adams with a dvd on Taka. Clark one hand slams Funaki. Clark throws Taka in the corner and unleases with stiff kicks and chops to the chest. Clark one hand slams Funaki. Adams gives Taka a backbreaker on the outside. Clark gives Funaki the meltdown. Kronik gives Funaki the high time. Kronik gives Taka a high time for the pin.

Backstage, Hebner asks Regal about Angle's condition. Regal says all that he knows is that Angle's vital signs are stable. Austin storms into the room. Regal gets pissed and gets in Austin's face, giving him an ultimatum - fight Tajiri or him (Regal) tonight. Austin says he has no problem with Regal, so he wants that little karate SOB right there in the corner. Regal says that is fine and it will be for the championship.

Rob Van Dam vs Raven
Raven runs down the ramp and attacks RVD from behind. Raven gives RVD a side russian leg sweep on the ramp. In the ring Raven hits a clothesline and a superkick for a two count. RVD with a standing moonsault for a two count. Raven trips RVD up in the ropes. Raven with a running clothesline followed up by a bulldog for a two count. Raven with a cobra clutch type move. RVD with a spinning heel kick followed up by a money flip senton splash for a two count. RVD drapes Raven across the security wall. RVD comes off the ring apron with a corkscrew guiloteen legdrop. Raven hits RVD with a chair for a two count. Raven with a drop toe hold on the chair for a two count. RVD with a spinning heel kick into the chair in Raven's face. Terri distracts the referee. Raven knocks Terri off the ring apron by accident. RVD hits the 5 star frog splash for the pin. After the match Saturn runs to the ring and chokes Raven with both of his hands. Saturn tries to go after Terri but Raven intercepts and gives Saturn the evenflow.

Backstage, Gunn and Edge can't believe what Austin did to Angle.

Edge vs Kanyon
Edge has a new Titan Tron and theme music. Match starts off on the outside with Edge pounding on Kanyon. Edge sends Kanyon into the ring steps and repeatedly bounces his head off the security wall. In the ring Edge hits a flapjack and rubs Kanyon's face in the mat. Kanyon with a pumphandle into a powerbomb for a two count. Edge with a spinning heel kick. Edge with a flying clothesline. Kanyon with a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Edge punches Kanyon in the corner. Christian runs to the ring and spears Kanyon by accident when Edge leapfrogged him. Edge capitalizes with his implant ddt on Kanyon for the pin.

Hardy Boyz w/ Lita vs Dudley Boyz
Hardyz double team Dvon. Bubba pulls Jeff out of the ring by his hair. Bubba sends Jeff into the announce table then back into the ring. Dudleyz double flapjack Jeff. Bubba with a high backbody drop on Jeff. Dvon misses a headbutt from the second turnbuckle. Matt with a top rope clothesline on Bubba. Matt throws Dvon out of the ring. Poetry in motion on Bubba. Matt with a second rope legdrop on Bubba for a two count. Jeff misses the swanton bomb. Litacanrana on Dvon. Bubba slams Matt and Dvon swoops in for a missed whassup headbutt after Spike pushed him off the top. Matt rolls up Bubba for the pin. Spike is shown celebrating at the top of the ramp when Hurricane and Storm attack him from behind. After ther match Dudleyz give Matt a 3D through the table.

Backstage, RVD tells Austin that Angle has checked himself out of the hospital and the rumor is he is headed right back here to the arena.

Steve Austin vs Tajiri
Austin is all over Tajiri from the start. Austin throws Tajiri out of the ring. Austin picks Tajiri up and rams his back into the ring post. Back in the ring Austin stomps Tajiri in the chest. Austin with a backbreaker. Stunner on Tajiri for the pin.
Winner: Steve Austin

After the match Austin attepmts to piledrive Tajiri when Kurt Angle's music hits. Angle walks out to the top of the stage with a mic in hand and a neck brace on. You know Austin, when you through my medals over that bridge a few weeks ago I will never forgive you for that. And I will never forgive you for what you did to me tonight. You don't want to face me at Unforgiven. When you look at me you know that I am the one man that can beat you. At Unforgiven I will walk out of my hometown the WWF champion. It's true, it's damn true. I promise that I will have no forgivemess for you.

Austin stares at Angle with a pale look on his face.

Backstage, Coach interviews The Rock. Rock sings a song - Great Balls of Fire. Jerry Lee Lewis is shown sitting in the audience. Rock says he does indeed have great balls of fire. Rock says there is no way that the WCW title will leave his waste and go to the Alliance.

Six Man Elimination Match
Booker T, Test, and Rhyno w/ Shane McMahon vs APA and The Rock
Rock clotheslines Rhyno. Bradshaw with a big boot to Rhyno. Bradshaw with a swinging neckbreaker on Rhyno for a two count. Rhyno with a short arm clothesline on Bradshaw. Bradshaw with a fall away slam on Booker for a two count. Everyone starts fighting on the outside. Shane hits Bradshaw with a chair. Booker kicks Bradshaw in the face for the elimination. Bradshaw chases Shane through the crowd. Booker with a knee drop on Rock. Rock with a belly to belly throw on Test. Faarooq with a spinebuster on Test. Rhyno gores Faarooq. Test gives Faarooq the big boot for the elimination. Rock with a flying clothesline on Booker. Rhyno gores Test by accident when Rock sidestepped it. Rock gives Rhyno the rock bottom for the elimination. Booker T with a back kick in Rock's face for a two count. Booker with the harlem side kick on Rock for a two count. Test gives Rock repeated back elbows in the corner. Test with the pumphandle slam on Rock for a two count. Rock gives Test a spinebuster. Test misses Rock with the big boot. Rock lays the smack down on Booker and knocks him out of the ring. Rock bottom on Test for the elimination. Booker is still on the ramp and Rock tells him to just bring it. Booker walks to the back instead of coming back to the ring. Hebner awards Rock the match via countout on Booker.
Winner: The Rock

After the camers go off Booker runs back to the ring. Rock gets on the mic and tells him to hold it. Rock says this Sunday night he will layeth the smacketh down on that candy ass. Rock says he does not feel like leaving Memphis. Rock asks Booker if he is a fan of the killa Jerry Lee Lewis. Rock says he wants to sing the song one more time. Rock calls a truce with Booker because he wants Booker to sing with him.

Rock starts singing great balls of fire but twists the lyrics around to make Booker and Shane look bad. As the chorus comes up Booker chimes in with "Great Balls of Fire". Rock thanks Booker and says welcome to Memphis followed by a rock bottom. Booker leaves.

Rock goes down to ringside to talk with Jerry Lee Lewis. Rock asks Jerry what his favorite pie is. Jerry replies with Poontang Pie. Rock gets back on the mic, "If ya smell what the Rock is cooking."

Rock goes back in the ring to salutes the fans then he walks up the ramp and to the back.
