-- A number of wrestling promoters are interested in booking recently released WWE Superstar Paul London, but he said to call back in February because he's mentally burned out and isn't interested in wrestling at the moment. The AAA promotion out of Mexico is very interested in bringing him in because he speaks Spanish, can fly, and officials believe he can help teach some of the promotion's younger guys how to work their aerial tactics into a match.
-- Former WWE wrestler Mark Jindrak (a.k.a. Marco Corleone in Mexico) has suggested to CMLL officials the idea of bringing recently released WWE star Lance Cade in as a heel to build a singles feud between the two of them.
-- Recently released WWE Superstar Gene Snitsky is scheduled to make his first wrestling convention appearance at the "Wrestlefest: New Year's Greetings" event on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel - 30 Minue Street Carteret, NJ 07008. Visit www.kandswrestlefest.com for more information. Snitsky will be at the RFVideo table from 11:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. Snitsky will be there to sign autographs and take pictures with his legion of fans. The cost for an autographed item or a picture with Gene is only $15. Snitsky will actually be offering signed toothbrushes at the event.
