-- WWE has announced the nominees for next week's Slammy Awards. They have revealed the nominees for three categories: Superstar of the Year, Diva of the Year, and Match of the Year. Here are the nominees:
WWE Superstar of the Year Nominees John Cena, Edge, Triple H, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho, Batista
WWE Diva of the Year Nominees Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly
Match of the Year Nominees 2008 Royal Rumble Match, Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24, Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 24, Undertaker vs. Edge Hell in a Cell Match at SummerSlam
-- On the heels of Bruce Prichard's release from WWE this past week, a number of promoters have inquired about him regarding possible convention appearances and autograph signings. Prichard himself told Georgiann Makropoulos of WrestlingFigs.com that he is unable to do anything until June 1, 2009.
