-- Randy Orton has been telling friends that WWE offered him a 10-year contract, reports ProWrestling.net. Although there is still no word on whether Orton will agree to the deal, it says a lot about their faith in the young superstar. WWE is also trying to sign Rey Mysterio to a five-year deal.

-- An article in today's Orlando Sentinel reported that the WrestleMania XXIV generated more than $51.5 million for Central Florida, according to a study by Enigma Research Corporation. OrlandoSentinel.com writes, "WrestleMania drew fans from all 50 states and 21 countries, according to the Central Florida Sports Commission. About three-quarters of the spectators came from beyond Central Florida and stayed for an average of 3.8 nights. The Enigma study indicated that $1.8 million was generated in local tax revenue."
