-- Gabe Sapolsky issued a brief statement to Newsday.com blogger Alfonso Castillo after being removed from the booking position at Ring of Honor by owner Cary Silkin. "There really isn't a side to my story," Sapolsky said. "There was no fight or hard feelings. I understand Cary's decision. I love ROH and hopefully everyone will give the new direction a chance." Sapolsky had been with the company since it was founded in 2002. Prior to his work at ROH, he worked under Paul Heyman in the original ECW.
- Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler has been spotted at several recent celebrity events. She attended the 2008 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships held at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Monday. Keibler was joined by her boyfriend, actor Geoff Stults, who she has been dating since 2005. Other notable celebrities who attended were former James Bond Pierce Brosnan, actor Dennis Hopper and Jamie Lynn Sigler of Sopranos fame.
