3 RAW Matches Announced, Shakeup At MyNetworkTV, iMPACT! Rating Submitted by Michael Bluth on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 6:45 PM EST
-- WWE.com has announced 3 matches for tonight's WWE Raw. In the main event, new World Heavyweight Champion Batista will team with Shawn Michaels to take on Chris Jericho and JBL. Also announced for the show are Rey Mysterio vs Evan Bourne and World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase vs CM Punk & Kofi Kingston.
-- FutonCritic.com reports that MyNetwork TV, the new home of WWE SmackDown, is already revamping its fall schedule by pulling the plug on all of its original prime time programming for the month of December. The shows will be replaced by reruns and various holiday specials. Smackdown will continue to air in its usual Friday time slot, but it does not say good things about the stability of the network.
-- Last week's live 2-hour edition of TNA Impact from Las Vegas drew a 1.1 rating. The show peaked with a 1.31 for the final quarter hour, which featured Mick Foley's big announcement that he is now a part-owner of TNA. The show had an average audience of 1.6 million viewers.
