Bret talks about how the "Wrestling with Shadows" movie came about. He always felt the life of a wrestler needed to be documented and it was luck that the film crew was there for the "Montreal Screw Job."
Bret talks about the time it took for him to write the book. He started before Owen died and he wrote through that time and it was hard seeing many of his fellow wrestlers dying.
Bret give his thoughts on the "Montreal Screw Job" creating of the "Mr. McMahon" character as a result. In an odd way it helped turn the WWE around. He talks about the character being a bit more of the real Vince, the real cut throat wicked promoter. He says working there was always about "what have you done for me lately" it was never about "what you did for them today or yesterday".
Bret talks about Vince wrestling and if he thought that is where he was headed when he was in the WWE. Bret said he's in a "live and let live" relationship with Vince. He said they are both tired of taking shots at each other. Rich said "as long as he doesn't rehash the 'screw job' anymore, fans are getting tired of it already and Bret said "yeah I think so, I was tired of it the night they did it".
Bret comments on Sting and Shawn Michaels bring Bret up recently on TV and he doesn't particularly like Shawn bring it up but, he doesn't mind JR mentioning him and he wants fans to remember him. "When I punched Vince I thought I lost that forever." The DVD was a handshake and it buried the hatchet.
The recent episodes of WWE Presents Madison Square Garden Classics on the MSG Network featured classic Bret matches and he talks about always giving his best in the ring and he never looked past the first row of fans whether it was in Rochester, NY or in front of 93,000 in the Pontiac Michigan.
Bret gives his thoughts on wrestling today. He has a tough time watching long promos. He talks about his niece Natalya Neidhart and his nephew Harry Smith.
