- As previously reported, Candice Michelle is expected to receive a major push. Management feels that she's their most marketable diva, and would like to get the most out of her while they can. She's viewed as an injury prone talent and does not have many years left with the company. She's being build up to put over Beth Phoenix before she takes time off once again.
- Last week's 2.6 RAW rating is said to have hit management hard. They heavily advertised the Steel Cage match between CM Punk and Chris Jericho, and Kane vs. Rey Mysterio a week in advance. The 2.6 rating was the lowest since the final show in 2001.
