This show was originally scheduled for the night of Friday the 13th, but
apparently something didn't work out and they moved it, so the place was
maybe half full. WWE brought the "B" squad for this show, they actually
announced that Triple H was not going to be there and that if anyone wanted
a refund they could have a full refund as long as they did it before the end
of the 2nd match. We stayed so here are the results.
Tony Chimmel is our announcer, he welcomes us to Taco Bell Arena and
introduces Maria who walks through the crowd and up to a family of 4 in an
upper section and tells them that Vince McMahon would like them to move to
the front row. They do, then they are given $200 cash to spend on
merchandise. Tony Chimmel announced that we could decide the stipulation for
tonights main event by texting our vote to the number, 1.) for Falls Count
anywhere, 2.) for 2 out of 3 falls match and 3.) for a No DQ Match. Tony
Chimmel announced that we could decide the stipulation for tonights main
event by texting our vote to the number, then he reminded everyone of the
rules and got the first match started.
*World Tag Team Title Match*
*Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes d. London & Kendrick and Cryme Tyme*
Cryme Tyme got a big pop as they were introduced first, lot of action back
and forth, kinda slow, finish saw Hardcore Holly score the Alabama Slam on
Paul London while everyone else had spilled outside, and got the 3 count.
Ted Dibiase Junior comes out grabs the mic, after the ring is cleared and
spills the same stuff about coming to Night of Champions and winning the
World Tag Team Titles. Then he awaits his opponent for the night.
*Ted Dibiase Jr. d. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan*
Great to see Jim Duggan carrying the flag on Flag Day. Several times during
the match we had a "USA" chant, led by Mr. Duggan himself. Sometimes it made
sense, sometimes it was just random. The finish saw Duggan miss the tackle
from the 3-point stance and after slamming into the ropes Dibiase knocked
him down and covered him with his foot on the ropes for the win.
Next we see Charlie Haas come out to a ton of Boos, not sure why, he's never
on TV how can you hate him. Anyway, his opponent is Trevor Murdoch who comes
out and sings us a song he re-wrote to fit his opponent, it went, "Mama's
don't let your baby's grow up to be Charlie Haas. something about He tries
real hard and still never wins and always looks like an ass." good stuff.
that led to...
*Trevor Murdoch d. Charlie Haas.*
This match went back and forth with a lot of punches, Murdoch ended up on
the outside at one point, came back in, took charge and finished off Charlie
with a top rope bulldog to score the victory.
Next we are treated to the presence of Santino Marrella who tells everyone
that he got into town early today to read up on what Boise had to offer to
society and it's history and all he found was Potatoes, cheesy stuff, then
he said his opponent tonight was Super Crazy, and said "Imagine, me facing a
mexican in Taco Bell Arena" and then went on to say, "After I beat him
tonight I will make him say, Yo Quero Taco Bell" ridiculous.
*Super Crazy d. Santino Marella*
Santino tried to leave at one point, but came back, they went back and
forth, Crazy went up top but Santino cut him off and went for the super-plex
but Crazy knocked him down and then jumped over him and rolled him up for a
3 count and the victory.
Maria comes out and picks a guest manager for the next match and it's a girl
with Jeff Hardy arm sleeves on and makes her do Jeff Hardy's dance, then she
is allowed at ringside for the match and given $200.
*Jeff Hardy d. Lance Cade*
Jeff Hardy got a huge pop from the crowd, second to only John Cena all
night. Pretty back and forth match that saw Hardy win with a combination of
a twist of fate and a Swanton.
Maria back in the crowd with a group of people that don't have any
merchandise, so she gives the group $200 total to go get some.
Intermission time, Tony Chimmel says we'll be back shortly for our main
events. Hope they get better.
We're back and Maria has found a little boy with a mo-hawk to be the guest
bell ringer, and under the bell is what he gets paid to do it, $200, I am
finding a theme here.
*WWE Women's Title Match*
*Mickie James d. Beth Phoenix*
Very back and forth, decent match here, Beth overpowered Mickie all through
the match, Mickie finally pulled it out at the end with a ddt off the middle
rope and the 3 count.
Next match was HBK vs. Snitzky, funny stuff was before the match HBK asked
to see Snitzky's teeth, which he did, Shawn winced and jumped back, good
stuff. Cheap laugh. That led to....
*Shawn Michaels d. Snitzky*
At one point, Shawn reached up and pulled Snitzky's pants half off, his
whole ass was hanging out, Snitzky ran down the entrance way at Full Moon.
The regained himself just in time to come in and get some knife-edge chops,
then get knocked down, take a top-rope elbow drop and Shawn tuned up the
band and went for it but Snitzky blocked with a boot to Shawn's head and
then after a couple minutes of screwing around Shawn hit the Sweet Chin
Music out of nowhere and got the win.
Maria is back and asks the fans what they think the stipulation turned out
to be by the popular vote. One fan picks each one but the third guy gets it
right, it's a No DQ match and he gets $200 for knowing, by process of
elimination.
*No Disqualification Match*
*John Cena d. Umaga*
We saw this match last time WWE was here, so that kinda sucked but at least
it was a No DQ match this time. They ended up outside the ring, in the front
row, down the aisle and finally back in the ring where Cena hit the 5
knuckle shuffle and went for the FU but collapsed under the weight, then
later Cena after being hit by the running ass to the face bounced back up
and hit a big FU for the win, he posed for a while, threw some armbands,
etc. show over.
No Triple H, no Chris Jericho, only 2 title defenses, very lackluster in
star power but the people who were there delivered decently. Good show,
worth coming back the next day for.
MUST SEE! Hot Pix of WWE's Set of Twins, THE BELLA TWINS! WOW!
