Tonight on ECW, brothers band together as Kane and the Undertaker team up for the first time in ECW history to take on John Morrison and the Miz in a Match of Champions! Who will claim supremacy in this intense matchup? Plus, what can we expect from Mr. Money in the Bank CM Punk? Let’s get down to the X-Stream!
We begin with a preview promoting the Match of Champions which is followed by the usual ECW video package. Fireworks go off as Joey Styles & Tazz introduce us to a special edition of ECW!
We go straight to the announcers table and Tazz states that although it’s a big night, there is some bad news – Joey Styles must resign his duties as the play-by-play commentator. However, he will move on to bigger and better things as he will provide the fans with what they want over at WWE.com. Styles thanks everyone for the wonderful time he has spent on ECW and introduces Tazz’s new broadcast partner. It is none other than Mike Adamle. (Farewell Sytles. Thanks for the great years of commentating.)
CM Punks music hits and the English crowd goes wild. We are told that our first match of the evening is going to be an 8 man tag team contest.
Match 1: CM Punk, Jimmy Yang, Shannon Moore & Kofi Kingston v. Elijah Burke, Deuce, Domino & Shelton Benjamin.
Domino and Punk appear to start the match off. Domino gets the early advantage as he follows up a lock up with an arm wrench. Momentarily however, Punk counters it into a headlock takedown and tags in Shannon Moore who enters the ring by connecting with a sunset flip. After a 2 count, Moore works on Domino’s arm as well and tags in Yang. Yang hits a beautiful dropkick into a pinfall maneuver for only another 2 count. Punk is tagged back in, but doesn’t get too big of a lead as Domino kicks Punk’s chest and tags in Benjamin. Benjamin hits a thunderous knee strike and throws Punk out of the ring.

Punk brings down Burke with a test of strength until Burke cheats his way out of hit by striking Punk with a kick to the gut. Burke proceeds to hit a bodyslam and unsuccessfully hits an elbow drop as Punk dodges it and tags in Kingston. Kingston slides under the legs of Burke and takes Burke down with a quick armdrag. Kingston then tags in Moore and he and Yang connect with a snap suplex into a rolling senton splash. Yang attempts to get Burke with the 10 punches in the corner, but Burke counters by drilling Yang with two uppercuts. Benjamin is now tagged in and applies a reverse chin lock. Following this, Benjamin hits a big boot and tags in Deuce who stumps a mudhole in Yang. Deuce rams Yang into their corner and distracts the referee. In the meantime, Burke and Benjamin illegally choke Yang. Deuce tags in Burke and he immediately strikes with several mid-range body blows. Deuce gets tagged back in and simply hits a knee drop before tagging in Domino. Domino hits a high leg drop and attempts to cover. 2 count again as Yang kicks out. Crowd begins to really get behind Yang and he ultimately counters with a reverse body slam and tags in Kingston. Kingston nails a flying crossbody off the ropes and takes Domino down with a clothesline. Kingston proceeds to hit his innovative double leg drop and covers. 1…2…NO! Benjamin breaks the count, but Punk enters and he and Benjamin battle it out on the outside. The others with the exception of Kingston and Deuce join in, but all get dropped as Moore comes crashing down on them with a rolling splash. Back in the ring, Kingston reverses Deuce’s grapple maneuver and hits the Trouble in Paradise for the win. (Rating: 3.5/5. Some nice fast paced action was displayed here throughout the course of the matchup. It was well balanced, but just didn’t feel like one of those crucial matches as Punk nor Benjamin actually wrestled for more than 3 minutes of the match.)
Post-Match: The 4 victors get on each of the turnbuckles and celebrates.
We get a video recapping last weeks Contract Signing. Chavo’s enforcer is apparently known as Bam Neely.
We are then taken to a dark area backstage in which Kane is shown. He states that Chavo made a mistake as he will have to witness the Brothers of Destructions domination. Undertaker is then shown standing next to Kane and rolls his eyes as the crowd cheers. Kane gives us that sinister laugh as we go to break.
This Monday will feature the return of the King of the Ring Tournament.

Tazz is shown standing in the ring and states that our next segment will feature a Diva Dance Off right here in London England. Cheep Pops. The divas are introduced in the following order: Layla, Maryse, Eve Torres, Lena Yada, and finally Kelly. They dance to “The Anthem” by Pitbull.
The eventual winner of the contest was Kelly. She basically did her moves in and around the ropes before tearing off her shirt on the top rope which obviously drew a nice pop. Kelly finished her routine with a few cart wheels landing on the opposite side of the ropes.
After she was declared the winner, the rest of the divas left as Tazz insisted on the two dancing together which they did.

Be sure to tune into SmackDown! to witness Undertaker take on Batista.
Tommy Dreamer makes his way down to the ring with Collin Delaney. Dreamer’s opponent is none other than Mike Knox. Just as the bell rings, GM Estrada intervenes and sets the match to his likings. He orders Dreamer to leave because, Knox will take on Delaney.
Match 2: Colin Delaney v. Mike Knox
Soon after the bell rings, Delaney is dropped by a right hand. Knox picks up the fallen body and strikes it back down with a clothesline. Knox proceeds to hit power back drop which is followed by a stinger-splash and finally the corkscrew bodybreaker. Knox wins in what is a squash match. (Rating: 1.5/5. …I’m tired of seeing the same thing happening on a weekly basis.)
Tazz and Adamle are shown they introduce us to Miz and Morrison who are standing in the backstage area.
Miz states that two weeks ago, Kane and the Undertaker beat the holy hell out of each other and as a result will not be able to cooperate like he and Morrison. Morrison states that their strategies are to simply divide and conquer. Morrison adds that the man to start the revolution, the man to start the match, look Taker right in the eye will be the Miz. Miz looks worried as we go to break.
Main Event is next!

The Tower Bridge is shown.
Morrison makes his way down to the ring followed by the Miz.
Kane comes out to a great ovation and is finally followed by the intimidating entrance of the legendary Undertaker. Crowd goes absolutely crazy.
Main Event: Morrison & Miz v. The Brothers of Destruction
Match begins with Miz dodging one of Kanes clothesline and striking the monster with a few punches to the face. This doesn’t work too well however as Kane counters with a shoulderblock. Crowd likes what they see. Kane throws Miz into the turnbuckle and tags in his brother. Taker works on the Miz’s arm and proceeds to hit the Old School maneuver. “Taker” chants emerge among the audience. Taker then sends Miz over the ropes and sets him up in position of the vintage Undertaker high leaping leg drop. As Taker attempts to hit the move, Morrison clotheslines the Phoneme right off the apron.

Miz and Morrison are doubleteaming Taker in the corner. Morrison delivers even more kicks and starts to boast. Take grabs Morrison, hurls him right into the turnbuckle and unloads with big right hands followed by a massive headbutt. Taker eventually connects with a big boot, but Morrison kicks out at 2. Kane is then tagged in and he quickly uppercuts Morrison. Morrison rushes to tag in the Miz and does so. Miz is second-guessing on whether or not to enter the ring. Kane drags him into the ring and hits a powerful clothesline. Kane goes up top, but Morrison unsuccessfully pushes Kane down as Kane knocks Morrison off the apron. Off the distraction, Miz strikes with an impressive chop block. Miz and Morrison then tag in and out as they take turns working on Kane’s leg. After about 2 minutes of taking a beating from the tag team champions, Kane makes the hot tag to Taker who comes in and begins to dominate with big boots and clotheslines. Taker grabs Morrison by the throat in an attempt to hit the chokeslam, but Miz tries helping. The two double team Taker and bounce Taker off the rope, but it is quickly countered as Kane re-enters the ring the duo of brothers hit a pair of chokeslams as the crowd gets loud. Undertaker signals and connects with the Tombstone Piledriver on Morrison for the win. (Rating: 4/5. A nice main event. Its good to see the Brothers of Destruction on ECW. Overall, the quality of the match was tremendous as it didn’t harm the characters of the Miz or Morrison.)
Post-Match: Undertaker & Kane celebrate together as ECW goes off air.
