Last night I had the pleasure of attending my first
ROH show and it was the absolute best wrestling show
I've ever been to. If you never checked out ROH live
before, it's well worth it. It's a very nice
atmosphere and feels very intimate. Get there an hour
early to watch the pre-show matches as well. I
actually had a second row reserved seat right at the
    aisle.

    Pre-show Matches

Mitch Franklin vs. Tomasso Jumper (I couldn't
    really hear his last name)
Quick back and forth match. People were shouting at
Tomasso since he has a Chris Masters nose. Mitch
Franklin takes the win via pinfall.
    Winner: Mitch Franklin

"Brutal" Bob Evans vs. Kyle Durdin
This match mostly had Evans working over the arm.
Evans takes the win with an amr submission.
    Winner: "Brutal" Bob Evans

ROH Top of the Class Trophy 3 Way Match
Ernie Osiris (Trophy Holder) vs. Rhett Titus vs. Alex
    "Sugarfoot" Payne

Rhett Titus is very entertaining with his "I'm so
sexy" gimmick. Osiris retains the trophy with a
suplex into an implant DDT for the win.
Winner and still Top of the Class Trophy Holder:
    Ernie Osiris

Now it's time for the actual show

Four Corner Survival Match to earn a ROH World
Heavyweight Title Match later in the night
El Generico vs. Erick Stevens vs. Roderick Strong vs.
    Rocky Romero

Generico was over huge. Most of the action had Strong
and Romero working over Stevens. Not much Strong vs.
Romero or Generico vs. Stevens action other than to
break up pin attempts. The end saw Stevens Choo Choo
Strong into Romero and rolling him up for the win.
Winner and #1 Contender: Erick Stevens

    Mike Bennett vs. Jason Blade
Mostly Blade on Bennett action. Blade wins with a
    reverse suplex.
    Winner: Jason Blade

Jigsaw w/Mercedes Martinez vs. Eddie Edwards
Back and forth action in this match. Towards the end,
Larry Sweeney makes his way out to talk about his
latest acquisition. Jigsaw taps Edwards on the
shoulder to tell him to watch out for Sweeney.
Edwards takes advantage and hits what some people were
    saying is the Over-complicated.
    Winner: Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards walks up the ramp and shakes hands with
Larry Sweeney telling him he's going to make lots of
    money.

Jack Evans and Ruckus w/Julius Smokes vs. Jay and
    Mark Briscoe

This was a very fun match with some nice dives out of
the ring. Evans scores the win for the Vulture Squad
with a 630 on Jay Briscoe.
    Winners: Jack Evans and Ruckus

Daizee Haze vs. Sara Del Ray

This match never got underway as Larry Sweeney came
out to the ring and said she still worked for him and
if she went through with the match, he would sue her.
Sara Del Ray left to go to the back. Sweeney then had
things that needed to be said. Daizee takes the mic
and says that she came here to wrestle and wants to
wrestle Sweeney. Sweeney says she can wrestle him,
but must also wrestle his two tag partners as well.
Brent Albright and Chris Hero come out with Shane
Hagadorn and Bobby Dempsey who immediately is sent to
the back. Hero and Albright are about to do a number
on her until Delirious makes the save. Albright and
Hero go to work on Delirious until Claudio Castagnoli
    and Pelle Primeau run in.

    6 Man Elimination Match
Claudio Castagnoli, Delirious and Pelle Primeau vs.
Chris Hero, Brent Albright, and Larry Sweeney
Primeau takes the majority of the bumps early on.
Albright hits the half nelson suplex on Primeau and
Sweeney tags in so he can get the pin. Primeau is
eliminated. Delirious runs in and goes to work on
Albright and Hero. Albright delivers a half nelson
suplex to him and hits him with knees resulting in a
KO. Delirious is eliminated. Claudio comes in as the
sole combatant on his team. Claudio battles it out
with Hero and hits the Ricola Bomb for the pin. Hero
is eliminated. Albright comes in and battles it out
with Claudio. Sweeney jumps off the apron and leaves
the match to avoid Claudio getting his hands on him.
Claudio and Albright have an intense battle with false
finishes. Claudio hits the Ricola Bomb on Albright
for the pin and the win.
    Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

    Intermission

Kota Ibushi vs. Davey Richards w/Rocky Romero
This was an awesome match with lots of back and forth
action. Ibushi is amazing. Richards takes the win
    with his arm submission.
    Winner: Davey Richards

Erick Stevens makes his way to the ring for his ROH
World Title match to be attacked by Roderick Strong.
Strong injures Stevens' arm during the attack. Nigel
McGuinness makes his way to the ring and cuts a promo
saying that he understands if Stevens doesn't want to
wrestle. He says to go heal up and come back for his
title match when he's 100%. Nigel says he still wants
to give everyone a title match and feels that Ernie
Osiris would be a great contender. He would give
everyone all the lariats they want. Stevens gets back
in the ring and says to ring the bell.

    ROH World Championship Match
    Erick Stevens vs. Nigel McGuinness(c)

This match mostly had Nigel working over the arm of
Stevens since it was injured. Few lariats exchanged
towards the end of the match. Stevens jumps to the
middle turnbuckle, but slips allowing Nigel to lock in
an arm submission to retain the title.
Winner and still ROH World Champion: Nigel
    McGuinness

    Boston Massacre Match
    Kevin Steen vs. Necro Butcher

This was an insane match with lots of weapons used.
There tables, thumbtacks, a barbed wire board, etc.
This was very violent with some great action both
inside and outside of the ring. Steen takes the win
after hitting Butcher with a powerbomb on the barbed
wire board and locking in the sharpshooter. All this
time, Butcher is still on the board.
    Winner: Kevin Steen

Following the match, El Generico came down to
celebrate the victory with Steen before bringing him
to the back. Butcher finally made his way up and got
    an ovation from the crowd.
