- As I reported earlier, Rey Mysterio is currently negotiating a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment as his current deal expires late this year/early next year.
While Jason Powell indicates the two parties are likely to reach an agreement, he also notes that a source within the company has indiciated Rey Mysterio is less than happy with his current pay as it isn't on par with other top stars. Add to this that the general consensus among current stars and Mysterio himself is that Chris Jericho and Big Show both received healthy pay incentives to return to the company.
