WWE News - Company sceptical regarding Rey Mysterio's surgery; update on contract negotiations

- As we have reported here, instead of the renowned Dr. James Andrews, Rey Mysterio decided to undergo biceps surgery with Dr. David Chao who is the doctor of the San Diego Chargers. Andrews, the doctor who has performed surgeries on the likes of Triple H and Vince McMahon, estimated that Mysterio would be looking at a matter of months in terms of recovery time while Chao's procedure would apparently limit that to a matter of weeks. Considering Mysterio had to have two additional surgeries because of infection during the surgery, WWE officials are sceptical about whether the right decision was made regarding the doctor, especially considering Chao's past in terms of alleged botched surgeries.

- Staying on Rey Mysterio related news, contract negotiations are currently taking place and it's expected he will sign a new deal with WWE imminently.
