WWE News: Rey Mysterio Has Three Surgeries, WWE Stars On 'Best Damn Sports Show Period', Sportscenter

-- Injured SmackDown star Rey Mysterio has undergone three surgeries to repair his torn biceps, reports ProWrestling.NET. Mysterio told friends he had two additional surgeries because he acquired an infection during the first procedure. Mysterio is currently in Orlando for WrestleMania 24, but does not know if he will be appearing on the show. Mysterio is targeting June for his return to WWE.

-- Maria & MVP's appearance on Best Damn Sports Show Period actually aired on Tuesday night in some regions. Tonight is a boxing show. Tavares Jones sent in the following... This episode already aired on Tuesday(in my region anyway). MVP & Maria met with Charissa Thompson whom MVP tried to give an in-ring wrestling lesson and let her hold his US Title. Before that though, she played SmackDown vs Raw 08. The clip wasn't really that long. If you go to Best Dam's website, the two hour show schedule for tonight is a boxing event.

-- There will be a segment on WWE/WrestleMania on tonight's 6 p.m. Sportscenter on ESPN.
