WWE House Show Results from Madison, Wisconsin 3/8/08

I went to the house show last night in Madison, WI and had a great time. The WWE put on a great show. It was a LOT better than the house show they put on a year ago. I scored lower level seats on eBay for well below face value, so that made the show even better!

Card:

1. Super Crazy def Charlie Haas
- Haas used the gimmick where he hides under the ring and changes outfits. It didn't get much of a response.

2. Val Venis def D.H. Smith
- Pretty solid match from both of them.

3. Wisconsin's own, Ken Kennedy def William Regal
- Regal came out and bashed Wisconsin. Kennedy comes out to set him straight. Kennedy was very over as a face. The match itself, was just ok.

4. DX def Murdoch and Cade
- HHH and HBK were so over. They did a lot of fan interacting. Very funny spot where DX pulls down the tights of Cade and Murdoch.

Intermission

5. Beth Phoenix def Mickie James in a Women's Title Match

6. Umaga def Hardcore Holly

7. Randy Orton def Chris Jericho (Y2J) in a World Title Match
- This was a street fight. Solid effort by both. Orton legitimately suffered a cut on the top of his head from getting hit with the garbage can. Jericho spent a lot of time with the fans after the match.

Arena was full in the lower levels with the upper level about half full. I would guess between 5000-6000 in attendance. Night started at 7:30pm and ended about 10:30pm.

No Cena or Hardy, but still a great show!
