WWE House Show Results from Baltimore, Maryland 12-29-07

The SD/ECW Brand made it's last stop of the year here in Baltimore.

The show started off with the singing of the National Anthem.

Teddy Long came out and cut a promo and promoted the big matches.


1st Match - Jimmy Wang Yang def. Elijah Burke: Pretty decent back and
forth action during the match. Yang picks up with pin after hitting
sunset flip off the top rope.


2nd Match - Mark Henry def. Tommy Dreamer via Submission: Pretty
short match with Henry getting the win when Dreamer tapped out in the
Bear Hug.


3rd Match - Michelle McCool & Kelly Kelly def. Victoria &
Layla: McCool picks up the win after reversing the Widow's Peak.
Nothing like seeing Layla entrance live.


4th Match - Festus(w/ Jesse) def. John Morrison(w/ The Miz): Good solid
match with Festus picking up the win with his finisher. Jesse went to
bring a lil boy at the end to pat on Festus head. But the kid took one
look at Festus and ran back to his father. But they got another kid to
do it though.

5th Match - CM Punk def. Chavo - Punk picked up the win via G2S and was selling a leg injury during the match.


INTERMISSION


6th Match - MVP def. Chuck Palumbo - Before the match, MVP did a
shoot on the Ravens, saying that although they both wear purple and
black, he's the winner. Chuck comes out on his bike with Michelle
McCool and he's going around the ring burning rubber as usual. Then he
does the long burn at the end, had the place smelling like burned
rubber. Pretty good back and forth match. The end came when Jamie Noble
came out and was arguing with Michelle and Chuck was distracted. MVP
hits the Playmaker for the win. After the match, the crowd was booing
and Chuck gets up and does a shoot saying how Michelle did what she was
supposed to do. He insults the crowd and tells Michelle that she can
either walk home or ride with him. So he starts up the bike and she
almost got on, but she got off threw her hand in his face and walked to
the back.



7th Match - Undertaker & Kane def. Big Daddy V and The Great
Khalil - Undertaker and Kane comes out to a HUGE pop. Undertaker &
Kane picks up the win on a double chokeslam on The Great Khalil.
Undertaker & Kane received a huge pop at the end of the match as
well.


Main Event - Edge def. Batista in A Last Man Standing Match: Edge
came out to a huge heat reaction and Batista probably got the 2nd
loudest pop of the evening. The match took awhile to start due to Edge
avoiding the ring. Pretty good match and at one point those two battled
in the crowd. The ending came when the Edgeheads came and interfered.
Batista fought them off and was speared by Edge. When Batista tried to get up,
the Edgeheads grabbed his leg and pulled him back down. The ref declared
Edge the winner. When Edge and the Edgeheads started to leave, The Undertaker's
music played and he came back out. Edge and the Edgeheads ran back to the ring,
only to be cornered by The Deadman and The Animal. Edge runs to the back and
The Deadman and The Animal squashed the Edgeheads. Undertaker leaves the ring
and stares back at Batista. Batista then poses for the crowd and greets fans.
