The show started with Teddy Long coming out and he announced that Undertaker was going
to be in action against the Great Khali, and Batista was going to fight Edge in
a Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

    Match 1:
Kane versus Big Daddy V w/ Matt Striker
Kane won a back-and-forth match with a chokeslam. Then after the match, Striker was left
in the ring and got a chokeslam of his own. Kane then left.

Match 2: Mark Henry and Jamie Noble versus Jimmy Wang Yang and Chuck Palumbo
Noble won with a roll up on Palumbo, then he and Henry quickly left. After the match
Palumbo shoved Yang and left to a chorus of boos on his motorcycle.

    Match 3:
    Elijah Burke versus Tommy Dreamer
Before the match Elijah got on the mic and said that the fans should be thankful for him
and that he was the reason that the ECW Originals as well as Rob Van Dam were
gone. This match was very entertaining and Burke ended up getting the win after
    hitting the Elijah Express.

    Match 4:
The Miz and John Morrison versus Jesse and Festus
This was for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Miz and Morrison retained after Miz clipped Festus’
leg from behind, and allowed Morrison to get a quick pin with his feet on the ropes.

Victoria, Layla, Michelle McCool, and Kelly Kelly faced off in a bikini contest.
Victoria attempted to dance but fell twice and never took her shirt off,
Layla put her coat back on, and the crowd was divided between Michelle and Kelly,
but Kelly ended up getting the win. Afterwards Victoria and Layla attacked Kelly,
but Michelle made the save, then the two of them knocked Layla out of the ring and
pulled Victoria’s shirt off. Layla and Victoria left in a hurry, while Kelly and
Michelle stayed and celebrated in the ring.

Match 5: CM Punk versus Chavo Guerrero
This was for the ECW Championship. Punk won a decent match with the GTS.

It was announced that tickets for the Royal Rumble, which is live from Madison Square Garden
on January 27th, go on sale Saturday December 29th at 10:00am

    INTERMISSION

    Match 6:
    MVP versus Carlito
Before the match MVP came down and ran his mouth with the whole ‘better than you’ thing. Then
he called out anyone from the back to get a shot at the United States
Championship. Carlito came out from the back and said that he once held the US title and
wants it back. The match ended after MVP went for the Playmaker, but Carlito pushed
him into the corner and went for the Back Stabber, but MVP held onto the ropes,
causing Carlito to fall onto his back, then MVP got a pin with his feet on the ropes to retain.

    Match 7:
The Great Khali versus The Undertaker
Taker came out to the biggest pop of the night and eventually pinned Khali after a
Chokeslam. The crowd was hot for Undertaker the entire match and there were
even a couple of people wearing Undertaker trench coats and hats.

The announcement involving Royal Rumble tickets going on sale was made again, and
that led to the Main Event.

    Match 8:
Edge versus Batista, Last Man Standing Match
This was for the title and was definitely the match of the night. The Major Brothers
came down and interfered towards the end. Batista hit Edge with a Batista Bomb,
but the Majors put Batista down with a Double DDT. Both Edge and Batista made
it up at about nine, but one of the Major Brothers tripped Batista while the
referee’s back was turned. So when the referee turned around Batista was still
down for the 10, giving Edge the match. Edge and the Majors quickly left the
ring while most of the crowd started leaving.

But after a few minutes, Undertaker chased Edge, Zack, and Kurt from the back and back to
the ring. Edge managed to escape. But the Majors got planted with a spinebuster
and a chokeslam. Undertaker left and Batista posed in the ring to close the
show. All in all it was a good show and I had fun laughing at the crying little
    kids after Batista lost.

    2. Batista
    3. CM Punk

    Biggest Heat
