Kofi Kingston A Top Search On Yahoo, New WWE Talent & More

-- New WWE superstar Kofi Kingston is currently listed as the #4 top searched item on Yahoo.com. Kingston, who has only appeared in "coming soon" video packages so far, is being billed as WWE's first Jamaican superstar.

-- According to WrestlingObserver.com, WWE has been holding tryouts for announcers to replace JBL on SmackDown. WWE is expected to make a decision by December 30th. As we've been reporting this week, JBL has jumped to RAW and is resuming his in-ring career.

-- WWE recently released a "Best of RAW" DVD set to commemorate the shows's 15th anniversary. People who buy the DVD set at Walmart will receive a bonus disc containing the complete episode of the first ever Monday Night RAW from 1993.

-- PWInsider.com reports that WWE has signed Silas Young to a developmental contract. Young has been training in Ohio Valley Wrestling where he received a lot of praise for his work in the ring and positive atitude.
